원래 촌락과 도시를 포함하는 취락지리학이 인문지리학에서 분화하여 체계화한 것은 19세기 말에서 20세기 초에 걸쳐서이고, 이어서 도시지리학의 발전에 따라서 자연히 취락지리학은 촌락만을 중요대상으로 삼게 되었다. 그래서 해방 30년간에 있어서 우리나라 학계에 있어서도 전반에서는 촌락.도시를 포함하는, 취락지리학 후반 즉 1960년대이후 도시발전기를 맞이하여 도시연구가 활발해짐에 따라서 도시지리학이 분화발달하게 되어, 각 대학의 지리학과에서도 도시지리학강좌가 취락지리학에서 분리신설하게 되었다.

Undrained cyclic triaxial tests were performed on silt contained in the sand in order to investigate the effect of silt contents on the liquefaction strength and shear characterist ifs of the sand. As the result of this experiment, the weakest percentage of silt contained in the sand was 30% for all the relative density considered in the test. Also, the same bests were performed to find the effect of cyclic speed applied ranging from 0.1Hz to 5Hz on the liquefaction strength. The more the silt is contained in the sand, the greater the liquefaction strength was affected by cyclic speed, While the silt -containing sand was far less influenced by the cyclic speed than clay containing sand. These results are believed to be caused by the change of pore water pressure of the effective stress path.

A computer program for computing the edge response function(ERF) from the optical transfer function( 0TF) was developed. The ERFs of un-aberrated optical system and aberrated optical system were studied by the use of that program. We calculated the ERFs of the optical systems with a single aberration and with a combined aberration. In sagittal case, the ERE of the optical system with defocus or spherical aberration was worse than that with coma. In tagential case, the ERF of the optical system with coma was worse than that with defocusing or spherical aberraion. Both the shape and the position of ERF were varied with coma, but only the position of ERF was varied with distortion, in tangential case.

Undrained cyclic simple shear tests and undrained cyclic triaxial tests were performed on silt containing sand in order to investigate the effects of silt contents on the liquefaction strength and shear characteristics of the sand. From the view that the difference of liquefaction strength for different content of silt stems from dilatancy characteristics of the sand, stress-dilatancy relation of the sand was obtained from drained triaxial test in which the mean stress was kept constant. Considerations on liquefaction behaviors were made by comparing the drained and undrained behaviors of sands during static shear test. It is concluded that ${\lambda}$-value of the stress-dilatancy relation will be closely related to the liquefaction strength.

증강현실에서 자연스럽고 인간 친화적인 인터페이스로는 비전 기반의 손동작을 이용한 인터페이스가 가장 각광받고 있다. 그러나 복잡한 배경에서 손을 찾고 손동작을 인식하는 것은 여전히 어려운 문제로 남아 있다. 특히, 배경에 살색을 가진 물체가 많이 있다면 이 문제는 더욱 해결하기 어려워진다. 이 논문은 손 영역을 정확하게 검출 하는 방법에 초점이 맞춰져 있으며, 효과적인 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 기본적으로 손과 팔을 포함하는 영역이 다른 피부색 영역과 다른 밝기를 가지고 있다고 가정한다. 구체적으로 제안하는 방법은 밝기 차이를 이용하여 피부색 영역으로부터 손과 팔을 포함하는 영역을 검출한다. 본 논문에서는 밝기 차이를 구분하는 방법으로 �o지(edge) 영상을 이용한다. 그 다음 손과 팔의 기하학적 특징을 이용하여 손목을 찾고 손을 포함하는 사각형 영역을 검출한다. 마지막으로 사각형 영역으로부터 손을 찾아낸다. 손을 찾는 방법 또한 약간 다르지만 비슷한 밝기 기반의 추출 방법을 사용한다. 우리는 간단한 손동작 기반의 증강현실 인터페이스를 구현함으로써 제안한 방법의 효용성을 검증한다.

One-dimensional unsteady flow model including weir flow simulation is studied. Applicabilities of both the single channel model with local treatment of the weir overflow, and the looped-network model are studied using a test problem. It is shown that various type of weir flows including reverse flows are successfully simulated. Flow discontinuity due to the high crest elevation can also be simulated. The reverse free-flowing overflow can be simulated by the single-channel model as well as by the looped-network model.

본 논문에서는 대용량의 말뭉치로부터 사회망을 자동 구축하기 위한 선행 연구로서 두 인명 사이의 사회관계를 포함하는 문장을 자동 선별하는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 먼저 2개의 인명을 포함하는 문장을 대상으로 형태소 분석과 의존 구조 분석을 수행한다. 그리고 두 인명의 공통 지배소를 기준으로 의존 트라이그램을 추출한다. 마지막으로 의존 트라이그램의 속성값 비교에 기반한 SVM 커널 함수를 이용하여 사회 관계 포함 여부를 결정한다. 실험 결과, 제안 방법이 영어권 연구에서 좋은 성능을 보인 최소 경로 의존 커널의 단점을 효과적으로 보완하였다. 또한, 사회망 자동 구축을 위한 도구로써 활용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

본 논문은 비디오 시퀀스에 카메라 패닝 보상과 2차원 시공간 엔트로피 임계법을 적용하여 추출한 객체포함영역을 대상으로 영상 분할을 수행하는 이동 객체 분할 기법에 관한 것이다. 우선, 웨이블렛 변환에 의해 구성한 피라미드 계층 구조상에서 카메라 패닝 벡터를 추정하여 전역 움직임을 보상한다. 이후, 전역 움직임이 보상된 기준영상을 대상으로 각 프레임간에서 2차원 시공간 엔트로피 임계법을 적용하여 이동 객체가 포함될 가능성이 있는 영역을 블록 단위로 추출한다. 다음으로, 2차원 시공간 엔트로피 입계법에 의해 분류된 영역을 토대로 각 블록을 움직임블록, 준 움직임 블록, 비 움직임 블록 중 어느 하나로 분류한 검색 테이블을 작성한다. 이어서, 검색 테이블을 참조하여 초기 탐색 계층 및 탐색 영역을 적응적으로 선정함으로써 피라미드 계층 구조상에서 효율적인 고속 움직임 추정을 수행하여 이동 객체에 해당하는 객체포함영역만을 추출한다. 최종적으로, 이렇게 추출된 객체포함영역에서 임계 기울기 영상을 정의한 후, 이를 기준 삼아 객체포함영역에 화소 단위의 형태학 기반 영상 분할 알고리즘을 적용함으로써 비디오 시퀀스에 포함된 이동 객체를 분할한다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 고찰할 때, 제안된 방법은 이동 객체에 대한 상대적으로 우수한 분할 특성을 제공할 수 있고, 특히 저대조 경계면의 분할 특성을 제고시키고 있음을 확인할 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 권선 사이의 자계결합도 변동을 고려하여 자기공진 방식의 보조권선을 포함하는 전기차 충전용 무선전력전송회로의 설계기법을 제시한다. 전기차 충전용 무선전력전송회로를 설계하기 위해서는 회로의 동작주파수가 표준규격에 의해서 일정범위로 제한되고 1차측과 2차측 권선의 정렬상태에 따라서 자계결합도가 변동할 수 있다는 점이 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 동작주파수의 제한범위 및 자계결합도의 변동을 고려하여 1차측에 보조권선을 포함하는 자기공진형 무선전력전송회로의 설계기법을 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 영상 시퀀스의 이전 프레임과 현재 프레임 사이의 차분 데이터로 이루어진 차분 프레임에 대하여 제안한 FDVQ(프레임 차분 체적양자화기)를 적용했을 때, 복원된 영상의 원 영상에 대한 해상도(PSNR)를 분석하였다. 시험 동영상(moving image)으로 실험한 결과, 저주파 성분을 많이 포함하는 차분 영상 데이터에 대하여 높은 압축률에서 제안된 FDVQ 방법으로 얻은 복원 해상도는 2D-DCT와 VQ를 이용한 방법보다 개선된 결과를 나타내었다. PSNR 결과에 대한 영상 특성의 분석 결과에서 FDVQ를 이용한 방법은 VQ 방법보다 압축률은 비슷하였으나 해상도는 평균 0.39㏈ 정도 향상되었다. 또한, 평균압축률 약 0.05bpp에서 2D-DCT 방법에 비해 고주파 성분을 많이 포함하는 경우는 0.8㏈ 이상 향상되었으며, 저주파 성분을 많이 포함하는 경우는 평균 0.4㏈ 정도 향상된 복원영상(reconstructed image)을 얻을 수 있었다.
