In this paper, we introduce the UTOPIA Smart City Security Management System which manages a user authentication for smart cities. Because the smart city management system should take care of huge number of users and services, and various kinds of resources and facilities, and they should be carefully controlled, we need a specially designed security management system. UTOPIA is a smart city system based on ICT(Information and Communication Technology), and it has a three tier structure of UTOPIA portal system, UTOPIA processing system and UTOPIA infrastructure system. The UTOPIA processing system uses the smart city middleware named SmartUM. The UTOPIA Smart City Security Management System is implemented in the application security layer, which is the top layer of the SmartUM middleware, and the infrastructure security layer, which is the lowest layer. The UTOPIA Smart City security management system is built on the premise that it supports all existing user authentication technologies. This paper introduces the application security layer and describes the authentication management in the application security layer.

Increasingly important user based service on the smart media era, and increasing awareness about the user experience. As the connected Internet information systems increases, one of the problems happening between users and information systems such as Internet shopping-malls, portal sites, and corporate web sites is related with the information privacy concerns issues. In this research, we aim to analyze factors influencing of the invasion of privacy on continue using intention in online environment. Based on these findings, several theoretical and practical implications were suggested and discussed. Thus, we have reviewed extensive previous studies on information privacy in local and foreign information systems, marketing and other fields. The purpose of this study is to provide future directions of studies on information privacy concerns by analyzing past and recent trends of the studies.

지상파 UHD 방송은 시청자에게 기존 HD 방송화면보다 4배 더 선명한 영상 서비스를 제공하며, 광대역 통신망과 결합한 홈포탈(Home Portal) 서비스를 통해서 다양한 부가서비스를 지상파 방송과 함께 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 지상파 UHD TV 방송과 연계된 360도 가상현실(VR; Virtual Reality) 부가서비스 시스템과 이를 효과적으로 시청하기 위한 사용자환경을 제안한다. 방송의 ESG(Electronic Service Guide)를 통해 시청자는 VR 부가서비스임을 확인하고 스마트 단말기 또는 HMD(Head Mount Display) 등을 이용하여 마치 현장에 있는 듯한 체험을 즐길 수 있다. 제안한 부가서비스는 앱 형태로 스마트 단말기에 설치하여 실행하며 지상파 UHD TV의 ESG 정보로부터 프로그램 편성과 VR 지원여부를 확인한다. 이를 통해, 실시간 방송 뿐 아니라 VOD 형태로 제공되는 다양한 비디오 및 오디오 콘텐츠를 극장에서 보는 것과 같은 빅스크린 모드, 360도 VR 모드, 오디오 청취모드 등 다양한 시청환경에서 감상할 수 있다. 제안한 사용자 환경은 게임엔진을 기반으로 개발되어 가상의 시청 공간에서 장소를 이동하며 영상, 음향 등 미디어 콘텐츠를 감상할 수 있다. 전용컨트롤러를 이용하면 다양한 인터액티브 콘텐츠를 효과적으로 운용하여 감상할 수 있으며, 일반적으로 통용되는 VR 기기 제어 모드도 지원하여 HMD나 일반 스마트 단말기 어느 것을 이용해서도 용이하게 사용자 메뉴를 선택할 수 있다. 제안된 시스템의 시제품은 IBC 2017 및 평창 ICT 체험관을 통해 발표되었다.

As the importance of Knowledge Management System (KMS) in the military increases, Republic of Korea Army (ROK Army) developed Army Knowledge Portal. Although the members in the military are encouraged to use the portal, few members currently use it. This study was conducted to find variables to predict the user's intention to use the portal, which contributes to activating the use of Army Knowledge Portal in the army. On the basis of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), ten variables such as perceived ease of use, general information security awareness, information security awareness, expectation for external rewards, expectation for relationships, sense of self-worth, attitude toward compliance with security policy, attitude toward knowledge sharing, intention of non-combat knowledge sharing, and intention of combat knowledge sharing were considered as independent variables. 105 participants on active duty who currently use or have experience to use the portal participated in this study. The results indicated that general information security awareness and information security awareness increases compliance with the information security policy. In addition, the attitude toward knowledge sharing is enhanced by expectations for relationship and sense of self-worth. Based on the results, the authors propose the need for policy alternatives to reinforce the reward system and security policy, which activates the use of Knowledge Portal Service for ROK Army.

In this paper, we propose a new P2P-based music recommendation system. In comparison with previous system in client-server environment, the proposed system shows higher quality of music recommendation through real-time sharing of music preference information between peers. A collaborative filtering is implemented as a recommendation algorithm. As a user preference profile, we use the inherit KID music genre index contained in all legitimate music file instead of music feature vectors as in previous research so that the proposed system can mitigate the performance degradation and high computational load caused by feature inaccuracy and feature extraction. The performance of the proposed system is evaluated in various ways with real 16-weeks transaction data provided by Korean music portal, 5 company and it shows comparative quality of recommendation with only small amount of computational load.

Speech DB is basically required factor when we are study for phonetics, speech recognition and speech synthesis and so on. The quantity and quality of speech DB decide the efficiency of system that we develop. therefore. speech DB has an extremely important factor, Recently, development of the various telephone service technique such as voice portal. it is actual condition where the necessity of collection of telephone speech DB. The existing IVR application telephone speech DB collection system used C/C++ language or the exclusive development tool. Thus it is the actual condition where the recycle of each application service for resources is difficult and have a problem of many labors and time necessity. But. VoiceXML is a language having tag form ipredicated in XML. which has easy and simple grammar system. Therefore, if we make a few efforts we could draw up easily. it has a merit reducing labors and time, Also, VoiceXML has many advantages of various telephone speech DB gathering because of changing contents of DB. In this paper, we introduce telephone speech DB gathering system which is the mast important factor for development of speech information processing technique.

Currently, the user authentication technology used by users to access multiple applications within an organization is being applied with ID/PW-based SSO technology. These user authentication methods have the fundamental disadvantages of ID/PW and SSO. This means that security vulnerabilities in ID/PW can lead to periodic changes in PWs and limits on the number of incorrect PW inputs, and SSO adds high cost of the SSO server, which centrally stores the authentication information, etc. There is also a fundamental vulnerability that allows others to freely use other people's applications when they leave the portal application screen with SSO. In this paper, we proposed an app-based 2-channel authentication scheme to fundamentally eliminate problems with existing ID/PW-based SSO user authentication technologies. To this end, it distributed centralized user authentication information that is stored on SSO server to each individual's smartphone. In addition, when users access a particular application, they are required to be authenticated through their own smartphone apps.

Healthcare costs are continuously increasing due to longer life expectancy and providing global healthcare services through medical tourism is new service growth engine for Korea. Several countries have well established programs and infrastructure dedicated to medical tourism. South Korea is attempting to become a major player in this domain by undertaking broad initiatives. The success of medical tourism is greatly impacted by easy access to two types of information, namely, medical and travel information. The National Health Insurance System in Korea collects huge amount of clinical and financial information from all hospitals. However, this information does not get used effectively in health and travel information systems to support medical tourism. This paper provide clear process map of medical tourism to understand how the patient and information process both medical and tourism fields also describe the need of customer and service provider. In this paper, we develop a medical tourism service system that will promote information exchange and service delivery.
