This paper proposes a semantic recommendation technique for a personalized e-commerce portal. Semantic recommendation is achieved by utilizing the attributes of products. The semantic similarity of the products is merged with the rating information of the products to provide an accurate recommendation. The recommendation technique also analyzes various attitudes of the customer to evaluate the implicit rating of products. Attitudes are classifies into three types such as "purchasing product", "adding product to shopping cart", and "viewing the product information." We implicitly track customer attitude to estimate the rating of products for recommending products. Also we implement a session validation process to identify the valid sessions that are highly important for giving an accurate recommendation. Our recommendation technique shows a high degree of accuracy as we use age groupings of customers with similar preferences. The experimental section shows that our proposed recommendation method outperforms well known collaborative filtering methods not only for the existing customer, but also for the new user with no previous purchase record.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the developed dose verification program for in vivo dosimetry based on transit dose in radiotherapy. Five intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) plans of lung cancer patients were used in the irradiation of a homogeneous solid water phantom and anthropomorphic phantom. Transit dose distribution was measured using electronic portal imaging device (EPID) and used for the calculation of in vivo dose in patient. The average passing rate compared with treatment planning system based on a gamma index with a 3% dose and a 3 mm distance-to-dose agreement tolerance limit was 95% for the in vivo dose with the homogeneous phantom, but was reduced to 81.8% for the in vivo dose with the anthropomorphic phantom. This feasibility study suggested that transit dose-based in vivo dosimetry can provide information about the actual dose delivery to patients in the treatment room.

With China Market and strengthening of an international and political position of China, we need to promote exchange and cooperation with China for the supplement of economic vitality and for contriving the contribution of the flow of growth. The necessity of salient traits is needed such as sharing information, training a specialist, network between China Specialists, system establishment of China information DB and sharing China information. Accordingly, KIEP makes the most of limited special manpower and information, and developed China Specialist Forum Website : CSF which will make a stepping stone of systematic, synthetic exchange and cooperation with China. KIEP presented a development direction, comparing and analyzing promptly easy to get the information China Specialists want here, CSF made for mutual exchange of science, trade and the other issue, Taiwan website "a commercial business intelligence network of China and Taiwan", and Singapore "IE Singapore".

There have been many considerations to develop new content services that integrate a variety of contents databases being already constructed and then produce new content services which are more valuable than existing services in many applications such as Internet portal, EC, and CRM. By doing the above thing, the burden of searching databases to access interesting databases and service applications can be reduced and the database availability of users is also enhanced through a single view integrating multiple contents database. This paper presents implementation details of the query processing system that is a core component of the database integration system, which can construct a virtual database that integrates databases being managed by multiple heterogeneous database systems using XML data model and support a quay facility on the integrated database.

최근들어 각 기업들의 e-CRM(electronic-Customer Relationship Management)의 활발한 연구로 인해 개인 고객에 대한 매우 많은 정보와 다양한 컨텐츠가 고객화되어 개인 사용자들에게 제공되고 있다. 하지만, 현재 국내외 진자상거래를 주목적으로 하는 포탈 사이트의 시스템들은 고객에 관한 정보를 단순한 개인 프로파일로 활용하고 있을 뿐 고객 정보를 이용하여 더 많은 개인화된 새로운 정보를 창출하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문은 고객에 대한 정보를 세분화하고 분석하여 제3의 개인화 정보를 생성하여 자동으로 각 개별 고객에게 개인화된 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하고자 한다. 고객의 이메일 오픈율과 마우스 이벤트 정보를 분석 및 계산하여 개별 고객에게 고객의 관심정보 및 관심 컴포넌트를 생성한 후 관심정보와 관심 컴포넌트를 이용하여 개별 고객의 관심 정보를 고객이 선호하는 이메일 규격 및 양식에 맞게 에이전트를 통해 자동으로 재구성하여 푸쉬해 주는 개인화 메일 자동 생성 에이전트 시스템을 개발하고자 함이 본 논문의 목적이다.

사용자는 자신의 주변상황에 대한 정보를 수집 및 공유하기 위하여 SNS, 포탈사이트 및 커뮤니티를 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 특성을 고려한 지역정보 수집 아이디어와 방법론을 제시한다. 또한 각각의 웹 시스템의 데이터를 수집하여, 광범위한 지역정보를 마이닝을 수행하고 가공해내는 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위해 해결해야하는 이슈는 다음과 같다. 각 웹시스템의 문서들은 운영 체제에 따라 인코딩이 달리 사용되는데, 흔히 발생되는 오류 중 하나인 문자깨짐 현상이 그 예이다. 해결방법으로써 문서가 작성된 운영체제의 인코딩정보를 획득해야하며, 이 정보는 서버에서 제공하는 헤더정보에 명시되었거나 문서내에 내장되어 있다. 하지만 일부 웹사이트는 인코딩 정보를 제공하지 않으며, 국가별 인코딩이 다르기 때문에 이를 알기 쉽지않다. 그리하여 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법론은 텍스트 마이닝에 앞서 웹서버에서 제공하는 웹페이지를 읽어들여 인코딩정보를 획득하고, 문자의 깨짐없이 표시할 수 있도록 시스템을 구축하기 위해 Response Header, HTML의 meta tag 및 읽어드린 문서의 BOM(Byte Order Mark) 정보 및 인코딩 패턴을 통해 인식하도록 하여 글자 깨짐을 완하하도록 시스템을 설계하였다.

The purpose of this research is to propose a powerful alternative in designing knowledge portals using Topic Maps(TM). To demonstrate the power of TM In constructing knowledge portals. we designed a TM-based korean folk music(pansori) site, tested It with an existing pansoree site (pansoree.com ) employing diverse query patterns : simple, advanced, associative, and cross referential Queries. The results show that the TM-based site outperforms the pansoree.com in searching time and steps. The TM-based site also provide novice users who do not know pansori domain with easy access to Information that they need.

스마트폰의 보급에 따라 사용자간에 공유되는 정보가 점점 늘어나고 있다. 시간표 관리 시스템의 경우 과거에는 개별 사용자의 시간표를 관리하는 것이 주요 기능이었으나, 사용자간의 시간표를 비교함으로써 공통으로 가능한 비어있는 시간을 찾는 등 공유 기능에 대한 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이화여대 학생들에게 특화된 편의성과 공유기능을 제공하는 시간표 관리 어플리케이션과 서버 프로그램을 설계하고 개발한다. 제공되는 편의성으로는 사용자가 자신의 시간표를 직접 입력하는 것이 아니라 이화 포탈(eportal.ewha.ac.kr)에서 내 시간표 정보를 자동으로 바로 받아 볼 수 있는 기능과 관련 교과목의 담당교수와 강의실 등의 추가적인 정보가 같이 저장되도록 하여 시간표 작성 시간이 획기적으로 줄일 수 있도록 한다. 또한 모든 사용자가 계정을 등록하여 타 사용자와 함께 듣는 수업과 공강 시간을 자동으로 계산해서 보여주는 공유 기능을 제공한다. 사용자 피드백을 통한 본 논문에서 개발된 시스템을 평가한 결과 편의성과 공유 기능에 만족함을 확인하였다.

KT 메가패스를 기반으로 하는 홈엔(HomeN) 미디어 서비스가 신규 서비스 추가 및 UI개선으로 새롭게 개발되었다. 홈엔의 신규 서비스중에 하나인 교육/문화 전문채널 서비스는 고객에게 TV기반의 EOD 온라인서비스를 제공함으로써 편리한 학습환경을 제공하고 홈네트워크 서비스의 활용도 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본고에서는 교육/문화 전문채널 서비스의 유형 및 서비스 정책, 서비스 플랫폼 구성을 소개하고 향후 홈엔 전문채널 서비스의 나아가야할 방향을 조망해보고자 한다.

인터넷을 기반으로 하는 동호회의 모임은 매우 활성화되어 있으며, 대부분의 포탈 사이트에서도 '카페' 등과 같은 서비스명으로 동호회 모임을 지원하고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 동호회에서는 대규모 파일을 공유하기 위해서는 대규모 데이터 저장 공간의 부족 및 협소한 네트워크 등의 이유로 대규모 파일을 공유하는데 제약이 많다. 이에 본 논문에서는 인터넷 동호회 사이트에서 대규모 파일을 효과적으로 공유할 수 있도록 지원하기 위한 MAFI 시스템을 설계, 구현하였다.
