The rapid development and progress of information and communication technology are bringing about changes in the field of education, and innovative methods in teaching-learning have been introduced and applied a lot in the actual field starting with the pandemic. Reflecting this trend, the purpose of this study is to examine the perception of prospective elementary school teachers on the use of edutech, which is widely used in the educational field after COVID-19. To this end, I analyzed the results of 7 major ideas selected at the Edutech Utilization Competition held by K University of Education and the focus group interview conducted with 2 pre-service teachers. As a result of the analysis, it was found that prospective elementary school teachers valued the necessity and importance of edutech-based classes. In addition, they were positively aware of the educational effect of edutech-based classes. To sum up, it could be predicted that edutech classes are also linked to the policies and plans of the Ministry of Education, and will play an important role in effectively guiding future learners while achieving the goals set by the curriculum.

This study aims to apply QFD model to improve and evaluate library service quality using user needs priorities. The library of the D University is presented as a case study. QFD is a powerful quality management method in which customer needs are translated into appropriate technical requirements for each stage of product/service development. To apply QFD in the field of library services, first library user needs and their AHP, satisfaction and importance degrees were examined via focus group interview. Second, the service improvement engineering characteristics for satisfying the user needs and their relationship/correlations matrices were defined by interviewing library practitioners and experts. Finally, the data collected was entered using CUPID solution, and then HOQ to improve library service quality of the D University was constructed. This study focused on QFD method and its application as a tool for improving the quality of library service.

In this research, we investigated users' social capital and subjective well-being in social network games. We had Focus Group Interview(FGI) and analyzed the interview data. Our finding is that the social capital was either decreasing or slightly increasing only between acquaintances, with the subjective well-being increasing, affected by the users' achievements, continuous caring, and interaction with NPCs, while not affected by the social capital. Our research also found the independent increase of subjective well being, not being affected by the increase of social capital.

In this research, we attempt to discuss about the subject reference service from a marketing point of view, especially from a perspective of customer relationship management(CRM), and examine how this service actually functions to build the relationships with users of academic libraries, especially with faculty members. To carry out the research, a focus group interview was conducted with subject specialists, and also individual in-depth interviews with faculty members. In addition, we also discuss about characteristics of subject specialists which affect the relationship with the faculty members in a college environment. This study is meaningful as it discussed purposes of and characteristics in subject reference service from user' viewpoint and the perspective of CRM.

To develop a policy for effective and efficient information services, it is necessary to perform studies that reflect multi-dimensional perspectives of various groups. For this, a literature review on the information service policies of other national digital libraries, focus group interviews of professionals from related fields, and a survey of library users and librarians are needed. This study is based on a survey that asks library users and librarians for their opinions regarding the NDL as a part of research projects to develop the NDL information service policy.

A smart phone has an error if we design games on it because smart phone should be able to have input and output simultaneously through the screen. Using the existing layout of the game as a base for research, the layout was divided to four categories that are information area, informational appearance area, operation area and inutility area. Given the research results, we developed an authoring tool to design games for smart phones. Moreover, we applied the authoring tool to develop games and effectively reduce the developing time.

The purpose of this study was to figure out requirements and considerations of guidelines for libraries serving active older adults in Korea. The research data were collected by examining domestic laws and policies, foreign library guidelines and service practices. Two focus group interviews were also conducted with 10 librarians of Seoul metropolitan area. The research findings were the following: Specific guidelines should be set up including sections of information resources, human resources, facilities, service & programs, and promotion & marketing. The guideline should also include not only solutions for improving digital literacy of old adults but solving librarians' difficulties with serving old adults.

The purpose of this study was to find an implication for a direction to improve professional development in mathematics by exploring elementary school teachers' perception of the need for professional development in mathematics. To this end, 4 elementary school teachers were organized into one focus group, and group discussion materials were collected and analyzed based on cases of mathematics professional development needs. As a result of the study, the elementary school teachers' perception that the need for professional development in mathematics is both unnecessary and necessary. The perception of unnecessary was influenced by the easy level of elementary school mathematics content and the ease of teaching. Also, the perception of necessary factors were considering various aspects of mathematics teaching, changing the accumulation of failures in mathematics classes, maintaining authority of students, demand for class improvement due to social change, the impact of school work, the influence of the community of professional development and peers in school, and efforts to grow as teachers. Based on these results, the author discussed ways to promote teachers' participation in mathematics professional development by considering elementary school teachers' perceptions of the need of mathematics professional development.

The purpose of the study was to explore the smoking and non-smoking experiences of male adolescents in high school. Data were collected through focus group interviews with 16 participants. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data. Six themes emerged as a result of the analysis. "Imitating adults with curiosity" delineates first smoking experiences of participants. "Repulsion of cigarettes after first smoking" describes changes in participants' attitude toward smoking after first experience and "Resumed smoking" illustrates re-smoking process to be a peer group and test the taste of cigarettes. "Environmental risks of adolescents smoking" depicts adolescents easily exposed to cigarettes. "Conflicts between smoking and quitting smoking" describes repeated tries to quit smoking and re-smoking processes. Lastly "Reasons of non-smoking for non-smoking adolescents" illustrates the reasons for their non-smoking. Smoking and non-smoking experiences of male high school students' are different from those of female students and adults. Based on the results of the study, programs for preventing smoking and non-smoking education should be designed and executed for male adolescents to improve their health.

The purpose of this study is to examine in more depth how community fatherhood programs affected the lives of fathers and their families through the FGI(focus group interview) after the end of the programs. Five father participation programs from four Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Centers were selected for this research. Focus groups with 3-5 individuals for each program were conducted, with a total sample size of 20 people. Using content analysis, 16 concepts were extracted and classified into seven categories and two sub-topics. Finally, based on these results, this study developed a series of suggestions for the planning of father participation programs.
