(사)한국포장협회(회장 윤영욱)가 3월 17일부터 6월 7일까지 11주간 진행한 제21기 포장기술관리사(Packaging Professional) 통신 교육 결과, 총 100명의 포장기술관리사를 배출했다. 이번 제21기 포장기술관리사 통신교육에서는 (주)엘지생활건강 박수연 연구원이 총점 100점 만점에 94.1점을 획득, 최고성적 우수자로 선정됐으며, (주)정식품 이승구 과장과 (주)필맥스 이헌재 주임이 각각 2등과 3등으로 수료했다. 한국포장협회는 정부의 산업기술기반 조성사업의 하나인 인력양성(포장분야)을 목적으로 포장기술관리사 통신교육을 실시해 오고 있으며, 금번 제21기 포장기술관리사를 포함, 그동안 총 1천7백22명을 배출했다. 본 고에서는 제21기 포장기술관리사 통신교육 우수 수료자들의 활약상을 살펴본다.

환경부는 제품의 포장재질 포장방법에 관한 기준 등에 관한 규칙(환경부령) 개정('13.7.1 시행 예정) 사항 반영 및 포장 방법 변경 다양화에 따른 현행 포장 측정방법을 개선 보완하고자 다음과 같이 개정안을 발표했다. 주요내용은 종합제품의 정의를 "같은 종류 또는 다른 종류의 최소 판매단위 제품을 2개 이상 함께 포장한 제품을 말한다"로 수정하고 비매품, 설명서 등 참조용 물품은 종합제품의 구성품에서 제외하는 단서를 신설(안 제2조제2호)하는 것과 종이 골판지 펄프몰드로 제조된 받침접시 또는 포장용 완충재 사용시 공간비율 5%를 가산해주던 조항 삭제(안 제4조제2항제1호, 안 제4조제2항제2호)안 등이 나타나 있다. 본 고에서는 주요 내용과 함께 신구조문을 비교해 살펴보도록 한다.

나가세산업(주)은 염료 화학품 합성수지 등의 원재료를 취급하는 기존 비니지스에 머물지 않고 고객들과 보다 더 많은 시너지효과 및 부가가치를 창조하고자 폴리머 필터 DENA FILTER를 개발했다. 본 고에서는 이중 폴리머 필터인 DENA FILTER에 대해서 소개하고자 한다.

한국디자인진흥원(원장 윤주현)과 산업통상자원부는 2018 우수디자인(GD)상품 선정 및 수상결과를 발표했다. 2018년에는 875점이 출품돼 총 339점이 GD로 선정되었으며(선정율 39%), 이 중 대통령상을 비롯한 국무총리상, 장관상, 원장상 등 총78점이 최종 수상했다. 우수디자인(GD)상품 선정은 최근 2년 이내 국내 또는 국외에서 판매를 개시하였거나 당해연도 판매 예정인 상품을 대상으로 제품, 커뮤니케이션, 포장, 공간환경, 서비스 등 총39개 분야에서 선정하고 있다. 포장부문은 소비자제품, 식음료, 뷰티/헬스, 의약품, 산업/B2B, 기타포장 등 6개항목으로 구성됐다. 올해 포장 부문에서는 롯데제과의 '애니타임'과 (주)애경산업의 '팬톤+2080'이 산업통상자원부장관상을, 디토의 '막걸리 공용 용기', (주)헤즈의 '프레스킷 디자인'이 중소벤처기업부장관상을, CJ제일제당의 '워터젤리 제로' 등 8개 제품이 KIDP원장상을 수상했다. 다음에 우수디자인으로 선정된 포장부문 제품들을 살펴보도록 한다.

This research examines the drop impact of an external cooling unit package of an air conditioner system. The packaging is composed of a shock-absorbing material, which protects the package contents by absorbing the impact energy and other parts for fixture. Accurate quantification of the impact acceleration experienced by the package contents is necessary to design an effective packaging with minimal volume and sufficient shock absorbing capacity. Explicit time integration was used for the drop impact analyses. A finite element model of the package was constructed, material testing and material model selection were carried out, and sensors for data acquisition were modeled to obtain accurate simulation results. The results were compared with real physical test data. Due to imprecise modeling of the damping, the acceleration and strain values predicted by the simulation were larger than those from physical test. However, the trend of the history data and the peak deceleration value in the direction of impact showed good agreements. Thus, the analysis model and scheme are suitable for the design of an air conditioner cooling unit package.

Root is supposed to be important role in growth and yield formation of soybeans and also there is expected to exist varietal differences between soybean root morphology and system. 30 soybean varieties including 10 Korean recommended, 10 Introduced and 10 Korean native varieties were grown at field and pot under standard culture condition. Top and root characteristics were investigated at V4, R1 and R5 stage and T/R relations, correlations with yield were calculated. Top characteristics showed significant difference between 3 variety groups of Korean recommended, Introduced and Korean native variety. Stem length at R1 stage and stem length, stem diameter, number of nodes, number of branches, number of pods and grain yield at R5 stage were significantly different top characteristics. Root characteristics showed significant difference between 3 variety groups were number of thick primary root at V4 stage, primary root angle and root cutting strength at R1 stage, thick root diameter and root dry weight at R5 stage. The correlations between top and root characteristics and soybean yield was greatly different by soybean variety groups, and the top characteristics was more highly correlated then root characteristics. All the top and root characteristics of Korean recommended variety showed no correlations with yield. However, leaf area, stem length, top dry weight in Introduced variety and leaf area, top dry weight, number of nodes, number of thick primary root in Korean native variety were highly correlated with soybean yield.

산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국디자인진흥원이 주관하는 우수디자인(GD)상품 선정은 산업디자인진흥법에 의거해 1985년부터 매년 시행되고 있으며, 우수디자인 상품과 서비스에 GD(Good Design)마크를 부여하는 제도이다. 2022년에는 1,481점이 출품, 총 549점이 GD로 선정되었으며, 이 중 대상, 금상, 은상, 동상 등 총 79점이 수상의 영광을 안았다. 이 중 포장 관련 디자인은 시각/정보 디자인 부문 내 패키지 디자인 분야 외에도 다수의 분야에서 49개 상품이 선정됐다. 올해 수상작을 살펴보면, 알아보기 쉬운 디자인과 더불어 친환경이 강조되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이는 전 세계적 흐름에 맞춘 것으로 소재가 재생 유리나 종이 등 재활용됐거나 환경을 고려하여 만들어진 패키지가 눈에 많이 띈다. 수상작 중에는 우리나라 고유의 멋을 보여준 디자인 제품들이 우수한 평가를 받았다. 특히, 주식회사 밝은무역의 '우리 앞바다에 잡은'은 전통 문양을 활용한 디자인으로 포장 부문 최고상인 은상을 수상했다. 그 외에도 (주)에스피씨삼립과 담양제과 또한 한국적이면서도 깔끔하고 모던한 느낌의 디자인으로 동상을 수상했다. 지면에서는 2022년 우수디자인으로 선정된 포장 관련 상품들을 자세히 살펴보도록 한다.
