평판 및 셸에서의 파동 전파 군속도 비교 (Comparison of the Wave Propagation Group Velocity in Plate and Shell)

  • Precision of theoretical group velocity of waves in shell structures was discussed for the purpose of source localization of loose parts impact in pressure vessels of nuclear power plants. Estimating exact location of loose parts impact inside a reactor or a steam generator is very important in safety management of a NPP. Evaluation of correct propagation velocity of impact signals in pressure vessels, most of which are shell structures, is essential in impact source localization. Theoretical group velocities of impact signals in a plate and a shell were calculated by wave equations and compared to the velocities measured experimentally in a plate specimen and a scale model of a nuclear reactor. The wave equation applicable to source localization algorithm in shell structures was chosen by the study.

  • This paper considers the sound radiation characteristics of a cracked rectangular vibrating plate, varying the orientation angle of a line crack. The vibration response of the cracked vibrating plate is obtained by using ANSYS, the acoustic theory based on the lumped parameter model is used to calculate radiated sound power. The radiated sound powers are computed with varying the orientation angle of the crack: i.e, 0$^{\circ}$, 45$^{\circ}$, and 90$^{\circ}$. It is found that characteristics of the radiated sound power are very closely related to the crack orientation, vibration mode and crack location.

  • A plate-type linear ultrasonic motor using logitudinal and bending multi-vibration mode was designed and fabricated for the application to card-forwarding device. The stator consisted of PZ-PT-PMS piezoelectric ceramic plate and stainless steel. The performances of the motor were measured. As the experimental results, no-load speed of the motor was 0.6m/s when applied voltage was $80\textrm{V}_{rms}$ in resonance frequency. Starting torque was 1.4 mNm and maximum efficiency was 1.2%.

  • A modeling method for the modal analysis of a composite trapezoidal plate undergoing in-plane translational acceleration is presented in this paper. The equations of motion for the plate are derived and transformed into a dimensionless form. The effects of the inclination angles, fiber orientation angle and the acceleration on the modal characteristics of the plate are investigated.

  • In this study, vibration control of the enclosed plate which is typical two dimensional structure are performed by using intelligent control method and piezo ceramic as an actuator attached at the plate. The characteristics of the plate with piezo ceramic are examined to identify the natural frequencies. Then, the plate is controlled under the sinusoidal excitation by acoustic source and the reduction level of vibration is examined via frequency response and time sequence. The control result shows the effect of the intelligent control method as a control scheme compared with that of the previous filtered-X LMS algorithm.

  • 본 연구에서는 내재적 이중시간 전진기법을 이용한 비정상 Navier-Stokes 코드를 개발하였다. 내재적 이중시간 전진기법은 가상시간에 대한 새로운 잔류항을 도입하는 개념으로 비정상 잔류항에 실시간 미분항을 더한 잔류항을 가상시간으로 푸는 기법이다. 비정상 코드 검증 방법으로 Stokes 2nd 문제인 '주기성 하모닉 진동을 하는 평판 위의 층류 유동'을 해석하였다. 계산된 속도분포와 마찰계수를 방정식 이론적 해와 비교한 결과 매우 근접한 수치해를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • For accurate prediction of the thermal shock-induced vibrations, this paper develops a spectral element model for usually moving thermoelastic beam-plates. The spectral element model is formulated from the frequency-dependent dynamic shape functions which satisfy the governing equations in the frequency-domain. Some numerical studies are conducted to evaluate the present spectral element model and also to investigate the vibration characteristics of an example axially moving beam-plate subjected to thermal loadings.

  • A new formulation of the non-dimensional dynamic influence function method, which is a type of the meshless method, is introduced to extract highly accurate eigenvalues of clamped plates with arbitrary shape. Originally, the final system matrix equation of the method, which was introduced by the author in 1999, does not have a form of algebraic eigenvalue problem unlike FEM. As the result, the non-dimensional dynamic influence function method requires an inefficient process to extract eigenvalues. To overcome this weak point, a new approach for clamped plates is proposed in the paper and the validity and accuracy is shown in verification examples.

  • 진동시험 동안 구조물은 진동시험기로부터 높은 진동에너지를 받게 되는데 공급되는 에너지를 시험물에 전달하기 위해서는 시험물에 따라 다양한 종류의 진동시험치구가 필요하게 된다. 이중에서 T-형상 진동시험치구는 진동시험축에 대해 3방향으로 시험물을 설치할 수 있고, 형상이 간단하며, 또한 값이 저렴하므로 많은 설계자들은 T-형상 치구를 설계하여 사용한다. 그러나 이 치구는 수직판이 어떤 주파수에서 평판처럼 공진현상을 일으키기 때문에 동역학적으로 설계하기가 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 진동시험치구의 기능을 향상시키기 위해 모우드 시험(Model Testing)기법을 사용하는 방법과 시험결과를 근거로 설계변경을 위해 수직보강판, 수평보강판, 그리고 천연 고무패드를 사용하여 이것들이 치구의 동특성에 미치는 영향을 기술하며 그 결과를 치구설계 때 응용 가능하도록 한다.
