The present study was aimed to evaluate the soil microbial communities by fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) method in paddy soils at 20 sites in Gyeongnam Province. The soil microbial biomass carbon content of fan and valley $1,266mg\;kg^{-1}$ was higher than alluvial plain $578mg\;kg^{-1}$ (p<0.05). In addition, The dehydrogenase activity of fan and valley $204{\mu}g\;TPF\;g^{-1}\;24h^{-1}$ was higher than alluvial plain $93{\mu}g\;TPF\;g^{-1}\;24h^{-1}$ (p<0.05). The communities of total bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria in the fan and valley paddy soils were significantly higher than those in the alluvial plain paddy soils (p<0.05). Total bacteria communities should be considered as a potential responsible factor for the obvious microbial community differentiation that was observed between the fan and valley and alluvial plain in paddy soils.

The purpose of this study was to examine the lower-extremity muscle activation of flat-footed and normal-footed subjects descending stairs while wearing high-heels, thereby identifying any imbalance between the medial and lateral muscles.Thirty female students volunteered to participate in this study. The navicular drop test (NDT) was applied to the selection criteria for the flat-footed group and the normal-footed group. Surface electromyographic data was collected from the medial and lateral quadriceps, hamstrings, and gastrocnemius. Activation of MG and LG was significantly lower in the flat-footed group than in the normal-footed group. Both groups showed significant increases in MQMH and MHMG, but the co-activation in the medial and lateral muscles was lower in the flat-footed group. The co-activation ratios showed a significantly greater MQMH/LQLH in the flat-footed group. Flat-footed subjects who wear high-heels are more likely to experience impaired knee joint alignment than normal-footed subjects. Therefore, flat-footed subjects should use caution when descending stairs while wearing high-heels.

The detection characteristics of irradiated spices were investigated depending on radiation sources and doses by photostimulated luminescence (PSL) and Thermoluminescence (TL). 6 kinds of spices (turmeric, onion powder, red pepper, basil, parsley, black pepper) were irradiated at 0 to 10 kGy under ambient conditions by both a $^{60}Co$ gamma irradiator and an electron beam (EB) accelerator, respectively. The PSL analysis showed negative results for non-irradiated spices, while irradiated spices gave intermediate and positive value, which presented the limited potential of PSL technique. In TL measurement, TL glow curves on non-irradiated samples appeared at about $300^{\circ}C$ with low intensity. All irradiated samples were easily distinguishable through radiation-specific strong TL glow curves with maximum peak in range of $150{\sim}200^{\circ}C$. TL ratio ($TL_1/TL_2$) obtained by a re-irradiation step could verify the detection result of $TL_1$ glow curves, showing ratios lower than 0.1 in the non-irradiated sample and higher than 0.1 in irradiated ones. Therefore, in PSL measurement, the identification of irradiated spices showed more clear results in electron beam irradiated samples. TL analysis showed obvious difference between non-irradiated and irradiated samples in gamma ray and electron beam irradiated samples.

자연형 하천은 사용가치 뿐만 아니라 비사용적 가치를 포함하고 있기 때문에 비용편익분석에 비사용적 가치를 포함시켜야 한다. 그러지 못할 경우, 자연형 하천이 경제적 편익을 제공함에도 불구하고 경제적으로 타당성이 없는 것으로 판단될 수 있다. 본 연구는 자연형 하천의 경제적 편익을 분석하기 위하여 조건부가치평가법(CVM)을 이용하여 자연형 하천으로 조성된 전라북도 순창에 위치한 경천에 대하여 경제적 편익을 분석하였다. 연구방법은 가상적인 상황을 설정하고 여러 조건을 달아 자연형 하천에 대해 어느 정도 지불할 의사가 있는지를 설문을 통하여 분석하였다. 설문은 기본적인 속성과 환경용수, 생태계, 하천유지, 수질개선으로 구분하였고 순창읍 주민들을 대상으로 하였다. 자연형 하천으로 정비된 경천에 대해 경제적 편익을 분석한 결과 년간 약 11억원의 편익이 발생하는 것으로 추정되었다. 이와같은 결과를 이용하면 자연 친화적인 하천 정비사업을 시행할 때 합리적인 경제적 편익을 평가할 수 있으므로 사업의 타당성 평가에 이용할 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 평활한 완전 8방향 윤곽선을 부호화하는 법의 성능을 기존의 방법과 비교 평가한다. 평활한 완전 8방향 윤곽선은 majority filter를 이용하여 윤곽선에서 화질에 큰 영향을 미치지 않는 작은 돌출부분들을 제거함으로써 얻을 수 있고, 이의 효율적인 부호화 방법으로 2단계 움직임 보상 후 NDSC를 적용하는 기법이 소개되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 윤곽선 부호화 방법의 성능을 현지 MPEG4에서 검토중인 CAE와 비교하였다. 그 결과, 2단계 움직임 보상 후 NDSC를 적용하는 기법은 CAE에 비해 비트율을 7∼37% 감소시킬 수 있고, Dp, Dn 척도에서 본 distortion-bitrate 특성도 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

소셜 네트워크의 부상과 함께 소셜 네트워크를 이용하여 홍보를 하는 소셜 커머스 시장도 커지고 있다. 소셜 커머스의 경우 일정한 인원 이상이 구입을 해야 거래가 성립한다. 그래서 실질적으로 환불이나 반품이 힘들기 때문에 그만큼 상품평이 구매에 미치는 영향이 크다고 볼 수 있다. 하지만 이러한 상품평의 경우에도 개인의 상황이나 취향 등에 따라 상품평이 주는 정보의 방향이 크게 바뀔 수 있다는 단점도 있다. 본 논문에서는 오피니언 마이닝을 이용하여 의미를 추출하고, LIWC를 통해 사용자의 기본 정보 및 심리 등을 파악하여 보다 정확한 고객의 개인별 상황에 맞는 상품 평점을 제시한다.

The Korean Government is regulating using traditional measures such as ‘pyeong' or ‘don' in commercial transactions not also as a standard but also as a subsidiarity since the first of July, 2007. However, contrary to our expectation, the measures ‘pyeong’ and ‘don’ are used in other forms because the living measures are convenient for our living and they have useful meanings. In this article, we propose an idea that makes the convenient living measures and the legal units coexist.

본 논문에서는 선박의 평블록을 조립하는 공장의 월/주간 일정계획을 수립하는 과정에서 계획의 정도를 향상시키기 위해 시뮬레이션을 적용하는 방안에 대해 다루고 있다. 조선 평블록 조립의 일정계획 수립은 표준 데이터를 근간으로 계획을 수립하므로 일정계획의 정도가 낮을 수 있다. 그리고 공장의 제반 여건 및 운영 방안을 일반적인 일정계획 기법에 반영하여 정도가 높은 일정계획을 수립하는 것은 매우 어려운 일이다. 하지만 시뮬레이션에서는 공장의 제반 여건을 상세하게 묘사 가능하고, 시뮬레이션 수행 후 해당 일정계획의 정도 및 여러 사항에 대해 많은 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 수립된 일정계획에 대해 시뮬레이션을 통해 평가하고, 해당 일정계획의 문제점을 사전에 발견하여 조치함으로써 일정계획의 정도를 한층 높이고자 한다.

지난 4월 19일 생산지수 405를 기록하여 체리부로 계열농가 중 가장 높은 수치를 기록한 태성농장을 찾아가 보았다. 태성농장은 3만수 규모로 계사 $2,046m^2$ (619평), 부지 $4,298m^2$(1,300평)의 육계농장으로 부지 $3,306m^2$(1,000평)규모의 증축을 계획하고 진행 중에 있다. 2008년 무항생제축산물 인증을 받았으며 질병예방과 천연 항생제대체물질 사용으로 면역력 증가에 중점을 두고 있다. 태성농장 김응수(54) 사장은 본회 홍성육계지부 이사와 체리부로지역(홍성 부여)농가협의회 회장으로 활동 중이다. 충남 홍성군 광천리에 위치한 태성농장 김응수 사장을 만나 농장운영 방식과 국내 육계산업 발전 방향에 대한 생각을 들어 보았다.

전 세계적으로 인터넷 보급률이 높아지고 소셜 미디어 등의 인기로 여러 사람의 의견을 한눈에 볼 수 있는 기회가 많아 졌다. 영화의 경우도 마찬가지다 관객들의 영화평은 다른 잠재적인 관객들의 동일 영화의 관람을 이끌어 내는데 큰 동기가 된다. 하지만 개개인이 영화에 대한 느낌이 다르기 때문에 관객이 영화의 결정을 위하여 수많은 영화평에 포함된 의견들을 효과적으로 검토하기 쉽지 않다. 따라서 관객들이 특정 장르에 대해 느끼는 정도를 여러 영화평 속에서 추출해 수치화하여 좀더 신뢰도가 높은 장르에 대한 정보를 얻고자 한다.
