Development of a SEAMCAT Based Interference Evaluation Tool with ITU-R P.526 (ITU-R P.526을 지원하는 SEAMCAT 기반 전파 간섭 평가 도구 개발)

  • Currently, SEAMCAT has been widely used as a tool to evaluate the effects of interference among a variety of wireless communication systems. This supports various channel propagation models, all of which are based on some statistical models for the channel propagation and do not exploit any specific terrain characteristics. Thus it is not appropriate for assessing the effects of interference between wireless systems, given some specific terrain features. In order to overcome this limit in its use, it is necessary to extend the capability of SEAMCAT to support a channel propagation model which takes into account terrain informations. The ITU-R P.526 is a familiar channel propagation model which calculates the path loss considering the terrain features. In this paper, we present an enhanced version of SEAMCAT which supports the ITU-R P.526 and provide a few examples of interference evaluation using it.

Development of Augmented Reality Tool for Architectural Design (건축설계 검증을 위한 증강현실 설계지원도구 개발)

  • In this study we have proposed the prototype of design support device for architectural design assessment using the building information modeling(BIM) data and the augmented reality(AR) technology. The proposed system consists of novel hardware composition with the transparent display, the mock-up model and the digital architectural model in the new shape of frame. The removal of background and the correction of viewer point in the capture video are proposed in order to use the transparent display in AR application. The BIM data formats are reviewed to be converted for using in AR application. Also the proposed system can be expanded to multi-user collaboration system from two user system through the suggested hardware and software compositions. The results of this study will be applied to use the mock-up model and digital architectural model in order to carry out the design assessment process efficiently and economically in the architectural design field.

The Validity Study of the CAPP-SR in Korean Correctional Offenders (자기보고식 사이코패시 성격 종합평가 도구(CAPP-SR) 타당화 연구: 한국 수형자 집단을 중심으로)

  • The Comprehensive Assessment of Psychopathic Personality(CAPP) is an emerging comprehensive approach that makes use of 99 items in 33 symptoms to well-represented psychopathic personality disorder, but cross-cultural generalizability of this potential model have not endured extensive validation to date. The current study sought to validate the recently published CAPP-Self-Report form(CAPP-SR). 311 participants were derived from eleven prisons by the systematic sampling. They were administered the CAPP-SR, Triarchic Psychopathy Measure(TriPM), Levenson's SRP(LSRP), Short Dark Tetrad(SD-4), and Korean Offender Risk Assessment-General(KORAS-G designed for predicting Korean offenders'recidivism. The results showed that the CAPP-SR total, domain, and symptom scores were generally associated with TriPM, LSRP, SD-4, and KORAS-G scores in a manner consistent with conceptual expectations. Also. the findings cross-culturally provide support for construct validity and incremental validity of the CAPP-SR in Korea as well as have clinical implications for the CAPP model more broadly, which are discussed.

Tool Development for Identifying Components using Object-Oriented Domain Models (객체 지향 도메인 모델을 이용한 컴포넌트 식별 도구 개발)

  • Component-based Development(CBD) based on the software reuse has been more attractive from software companies that want to enhance software productivity. However, since component identification process is mainly dependent on domain expert´s intuition and experience, it was very difficult to develop tools for supporting the component identification process. In this paper, we propose a systematic procedure of identifying reusable component by using object dependencies and object usages and provide a design and implementation of its supporting tool. In object-oriented domain models. there exists several diagrams which are described in different viewpoints. From these diagrams, object dependency and object usages are extracted and merged into an object dependency network, which is a basis for performing a comfonent identification algorithm. Finally, through a case study of internet banking system, we evaluate the applicability of the proposed identification process and tool.

  • In this paper, We study on the Data Quality Model of ISO/IEC 25012 among the Software product Quality Requirements and Evaluation(SQuaRE) in ISO/IEC 25000 Series. Because of the increasing data, user require the accuracy data, recent data, suitable data for used tools, complied security and not open to be public. We research the data quality management in the point of application of be affect influenced low quality in business. We propose the testing items and we propose the method of the evaluation proposed testing items. We study on the basis international Standards ISO/IEC 25012 and ISO/IEC 9126-2 and we proposed the testing method quantitatively on the basis of ISO/IEC 25000.

  • The network architecture and analysis model for evaluating the information security are presented to distribute the reliable and secure multimedia digital contents. Using the firewall and IDS, the function of the proposed model includes the security range, related data collection/analysis, level evaluation and strategy proposal. To develop efficient automatic analysis tool, the inter-distribution algorithm and network design based on the traffic analysis between web-server and user are needed. Furthermore, the efficient algorithm and design of DRM/PKI also should be presented before the development of the automatic information security model.

  • There are many demands for interoperability between weapon systems as the operational needs for joint and coalition based on network in modern and future warfare have been increasingly needed. In DoD, LISI has been applied throughout information system life cycle from the planning phase to the development phase to assess the level of interoperability. We also developed SITES which is a tool to assess the level of interoperability in information systems. But we should extend the assessment model from the previous information systems to the weapon systems to assess the level of interoperability including weapon systems as well as information systems. In this paper, we proposed the assessment model of interoperability, implemented the E-SITE based on the proposed model, applied 12 weapon systems and analyzed the experimental result.

  • In an environment transformed by smart factories, measuring the current level of the manufacturing system, deriving improvement targets and tasks and increasing the level of manufacturing competitiveness become the basic activities of the company. However, research on the component analysis and maturity assessment to ensure the future competitiveness of the company is in progress and in the early stages. This study analyzed the existing research on various models, development process, and framework for manufacturing system. In addition, we designed a structural model by deriving the components of future manufacturing system through smart factory related maturity assessment studies. We designed a meta-model that includes an assesment model and a transformation model, and derived the framework development process to propose an integrated framework for the maturity assessment of the future manufacturing system. We verified it by applying it into an actual evaluation project of smart factory.

  • 소프트웨어의 품질 향상을 위해서는 무엇보다도 프로세스의 개선이 필요하다는 인식이 증대되고 있다. 그 중에서도 실질적으로 프로덕트의 품질과 직결된 테스트 프로세스의 개선이 무엇보다 시급한데, 그러기 위해서는 테스트 프로세스의 현재 상태를 파악하고 분석하는 과정이 선행되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 테스팅 관점에서 소프트웨어의 품질을 고려하여 개발된 SETP(Simple and Easy Test Process) 핵심 모델과, 이를 바탕으로 테스트 프로세스를 평가하고 분석하는 자동화 도구 Legba를 제안한다.

  • 데이터마이닝의 사전 단계에서 데이터의 차원(Dimensionality)을 줄이기 위한 단계로서 많은 요소선택(Feature Selection) 방법들이 개발되었다. 이 방법은 결과를 예측하거나 데이터를 설명하고자 할 때 어떤 요소들이 관련이 있는지를 결정하는 과정을 포함한다. 또한 이 방법은 데이터의 크기에 대한 확장성 (Scalability)를 향상시키며 학습 모델을 더욱 이해하기 쉽도록 줄 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 NP(Nested Partition) 방법을 사용한 최적화 기반의 새로운 요소선택 방법을 NP 구조의 기본적인 이론 근거와 함께 제안한다. 또 한 편으로 많은 요소선택 방법들이 다중 형태의 데이터를 처리하는데 한계를 가지고 있는데, NP 기반의 요소선택 방법에 다중 형태의 데이터를 처리할 수 있도록 하는 요소 성능 평가도구(Evaluators)를 도입하여 이를 극복하고자 한다. 또한 어떤 평가도구가 특정 데이터 형태에서 더욱 좋은 결과를 보이는지를 실험 결과와 함께 제시하였다.
