Development of a Pulse Light System for Treating Skin Pigmentation (피부의 색소치료를 위한 펄스 광 시스템의 개발)

  • In this study the skin care system was designed and tested by introducing V-IPL(Variable-Intense Pulse Light) methods that allow various skin treatments. The discharge method, a new method of switching on the flash lamp sequentially according to the lesions, was used. Pulse shape control is implemented in the system using the conventional LC variable method and the switching method control method of the switching element. As a result, the pulse width could be varied up to 1[㎛] by using a microprocessor, and by turning on the flash lamp sequentially along the lesions the depth and width, the pulse shape and pulse shape could be more diverse. We could also make long pulses of up to 1~100[ms] in various pulse width. And the special differences between the existing system and the proposed system in this study are as follow. Existing system is one pulse(pulse width : 1~40ms) and proposed system is three pulse(pulse width : 1~100ms).

  • 본 논문은 전류에 따른 NiMH 배터리의 성능 변화를 충 방전 실험을 통하여 비교 분석하였다. 따라서 실험을 통하여 NiMH 배터리의 데이터시트에 있는 충 방전 특성곡선과 실제 실험을 통한 충 방전 특성곡선을 비교 분석한다. 또한 충 방전 전류의 크기에 따라 변하는 특성곡선의 차이를 비교 분석한다. 전류 변화에 의한 배터리 분석을 위해 0.2C, 0.5C, 1C, 2C 정전류 충 방전 실험과 동일한 C-rate로 펄스전류로 충 방전 실험을 하였다. 실험을 통해서 얻은 데이터로 1차 Randles 등가회로를 통해 C-rate변화와 잔존용량 변화에 의한 파라미터 분석과 잔존용량-개로전압 곡선에서의 충 방전 히스테리시스를 알아보았다.

  • 보이드, 이물, 돌기등 고부자 절연체 내의 결함은 이곳에 전계가 가해질 때, 국부적 전계집중을 유발하며, 절연체 내의 미소 방전을 일으킨다. 이 때 발생한 미소 방전에 의해 보이드 표면의 고분자 물질은 기계적, 화학적 열화를 일으키며, 이에 따라 전기적 트리를 형성하게 된다. 이러한 트리는 결국 절연체의 절연파괴로 진전되므로, 고분자 물질을 절연물로 사용하는 전력기기의 경우에는 신뢰성에 큰 문제를 유발한다. 따라서, 이러한 방전(부분방전)이 일어날 때 생기는 전기적 신호를 검출하여, 절연물의 신회성을 평가하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 미소방전이 일으키는 방전의 파형이 트리의 진전에 따라 어떻게 변화하는지에 대해 연구하였다.

  • 본 논문은 변압기 내부에서 부분방전에 의한 전자파 시뮬레이션을 위하여 200MHz, 400MHz, 800MHz에 대해서 전자파의 세기 분포를 계산하였다. 하나의 주파수에서는 거리와 세기의 관계가 없는 것으로 보였지만 3개의 주파수를 종합하면 거리와 세기가 관계있는 것으로 평가되었다. 이와 같은 부분방전측정에 알맞은 폴디드 다이폴 센서를 설계하였고 모델 변압기에서 모의 펄스를 사용하여 측정을 하였다.

  • Measurements of ultrasonic signals caused by partial discharges were perlonnrl by using an ultrasonic measurement technique to diagnose the electrical treeing deterioration in an epoxy mold-type power transformer. We also examined the characteristics of tree growth, partial discharge magnitude and ultrasonic pulse number with the increase of the deterioration time. From these results, it was found that the shape of the tree was a branch-type, and the rates of the tree growth were examined when ac voltages of 16[kV] and 20[kV] were applied Ultrasonic pulse number and discharge magnitude were rapidly increased as the length of the tree grows after the middle stage of the deterioration time, and it appeared that ultrasonic pulse number was proportional to discharge magnitude. Attenuation, time-delaying and directivity characteristics of ultrasonic signals propagated into epoxy resin by using ultrasonic oscillation and receiving systems are also re[prted as a basic data of ultrasonic mesasurements in mold-type power transformer.former.

  • The optimization of resonator and laser power supply has been considered to be significant for improving the efficiency of a pulsed Nd:YAG laser system. We have proposed a new method of 3-mesh parallel sequential charge and discharge circuit as a laser power supply; more compact than conventional power supply, competitive in price, easy to control the laser power density according to various material processing, and equipped with the optimum reflectivity of output coupler. In this study, we could find that the maximum laser output was obtained by using 85% of reflectivity in the case of 50[W]-class. In addition using the power supply of new method, it's possible to charge each capacitor bank with a higher energy within the given charging time adopted a new method mentioned above; namely, we can allow each capacitor to have much more charging time and storage energy. So, higher laser output was obtained than conventional power supply.

  • We constructed a TEA $N_2$ laser which consists of spark gap, pulse type high voltage power supply, Blumlein transmission line circuit, laser tube with Ernst electrode. We observed the self-preionization with an optical fiber in the spark gap and laser tube. The higher voltage power supplied to the Blumlein transmission line circuit, the better preionization was. An U-type transformer yielded better stability and output power than an I-type transformer. The discharge time after triggering a spark gap for the U-type transformer was also short. We obtained the stability of $2.7\%$ and output power of $36{\mu}J$ when the optimum conditions of the laser operation were spark gap distance of 6.0 mm, electrode distance in laser tube of 5.0 mm, $N_2$ gas flow rate in spark gap of 1500 cc/min, $N_2$ gas flow rate in laser tube of 4 ${\iota}$/min, output window reflectivity of $40\%$ and repetition rate of 10 Hz.

  • The ground anchor is not usually used in soft clay and loose sand, because the pullout resistance of anchors can not be guaranteed. However, there is a method to increase the capacity of anchors using electric discharge geotechnical technologies, which are also known as pulse discharge and electric-spark technologies. The pulse-discharge anchor has a bulbed (or underreamed) bond length that is expanded by high voltage electrokinetic pulse energy. 24 anchors were installed in the weathered soil and sandy clay at the Geotechnical Experimentation Site at Sungkyunkwan University in Suwon, Korea. In this study, in order to define a relation between expansion rate of the anchor diameter and ultimate load, anchor load tests were carried out in accordance with testing procedures by AASHTO (AASHTO 1990) and FHWA (Weatheb 1998). And then several anchors were exhumed to measure the diameter of the pulse discharge anchors.
