Fuzzy Measure-based Subset Interactive Models for Interactive Systems. (퍼지 측도를 이용한 상호 작용 시스템의 모델)

  • In this paper, a fuzzy measure and integral-based model fnr interactive systems is proposed. The processes of model identification consists of the following three steps : (i) structure identification (ii) parameter identification and (iii) selection of an optimal model. An algorithm for the model structure identification using the well-known genetic algorithm ((;A) with a modified selection operator is proposed. A method for the identification of par;imetcrs corresponding to fuzzy measures is presented. A statistical model selection criterion is used for the selection of an optimal model among the candidates. Finally, experimental results obtained hy applying the proposed model to the subjective evaluation data set and the well-known time series data are presented to show the validity of the proposed model.

  • In complex decision making such as ill-defined system, one of the main problem is how to treat ambiguous aspect of the decision making. According to the complexity and ambiguity of the objective systems, many types of evaluation attributes are necessary for the rational decision and the relationship among the attributes become complex and fuzzy. Fuzzy integral is very effective to evalute the complex system with interaction between attributes but how to save the evaluation efforts in the decision making process of grading the membership of the objects or alternative is the problem to be tackled. Because the more object there are to evaluate, the number of decisions to made increase exponentially. Therefore, this paper aimes to propose a new evaluation algorithm based on fuzzy integral which can save the evaluator's efforts in decision making process. The proposed algorithm is constructed as follows : First, compose the fuzzy measure by introducing AHP(Analytical Hierachy Process) & mutual interaction coefficient. Second, generate fuzzy measure value of monotone family set for calculating the fuzzy integral. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is investigated through the example and sensitivity of interaction coefficient is illustrated.

  • This paper suggests an evaluation of risk level for damage of marine accidents in SRRs. Qualitative analyses in words is sometimes priorior to quantative analyses in numeric symbols. This paper introduces a concept of fuzzy theory with the plenty of related literature riview and AHP in the Korean SRRs of RCC and RSC. The methodology of this paper is $max{\cdot}min$ composition of fuzzy extensive principle, defuzzifiation is centroid of gravity methods. At the result, the evaluation of risk level is especially over Serious for marine accident of Busan SRRs. This paper recommends that many Rescue Vessels and Equipments need to the reduction of risk level about those.

Evaluation of Slope Failure Possibility on Forest Road Using Fuzzy Theory(I) - On the Fill Slope of the Metamorphic Rock Area - (Fuzzy이론(理論)을 이용(利用)한 임도사면(林道斜面)의 붕괴가능성(崩壞可能性) 평가(評價)(I) - 변성암지역(變成岩地域)의 성토사면(盛土斜面)을 중심(中心)으로 -)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the fill slope failure possibility of forest road in Metamorphic rock area using fuzzy theory which is non-linear model. The results were summarized as follows. The potential slope failure by nine factors was mainly occurred under the such conditions as the total road width ranging from 4m to 5m, longitudinal gradients below $2^{\circ}$, fill slope length greater than 8m, fill slope gradients steeper than $40^{\circ}$, road on ridge position, soil types with weathered rock, slope gradients steeper than $40^{\circ}$, aspect of NW, and longitudinal slope form in convexity. The weight of importance by factors on fill slope failure was ranked in the order of fill slope length, fill slope gradient, road position, soil type, aspect and longitudinal slope form. The analysis showed that the fill slope failure possibility was low with less than 0.485 of the fuzzy integral value and high with more than 0.620 of the value. And the discriminant accuracy was 74.6%. The analysis with six out of nine factors indicated that the possibility was low with less than 0.441 of the fuzzy integral value and high with more than 0.583 of the value. In this case, the discriminant accuracy was slightly increased to 78.0%.

  • Recently, public certificates issued by nationally-recognized certification bodies have been abolished, and internet companies have issued their own common certificates as certification authority. The Electronic Signature Act was amended in a way to assign responsibility to Internet companies. As the use of a joint certificate issued by Internet companies as a certification authority is allowed, it is expected that the fraud damage caused by the theft of public key certificates will increase. We propose an authentication model that can be used in a security gateway that combines PKI with a blockchain with integrity and security. and to evaluate its practicality, we evaluated the security of the authentication model using Sugeno's hierarchical fuzzy integral, an evaluation method that excludes human subjectivity and importance degree using Delphi method by expert group. The blockchain-based joint certificate is expected to be used as a base technology for services that prevent reckless issuance and misuse of public certificates, and secure security and convenience.

  • The reusability measurement model should satisfy the following conditions : 1) can insert and delete metrics and components easily, 2) can compare and evaluate components quantitatively on the basis of validation, 3) don't require certain preassumed knowledge, and 4) can compute significance of each measurement attribute objectively. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new reusability measurement model that can satisfy the above requirements. Our model selects the appropriate measurement attributes and calculates the relative significance of them by using rough set. Then, in order to measure the reusability of component, it integrates the significance of attributes and the measured value of them by using fuzzy integral. Finally, we apply our model to the reusability measurement of the function-oriented components and validate our model through statistical technique.

Bin-Picking Method Using Laser (레이저를 이용한 Bin-Picking 방법)

  • This paper presents a bin picking method using a slit beam laser in which a robot recognizes all of the unoccluded objects from the top of jumbled objects, and picks them up one by one. Once those unoccluded objects are removed, newly developed unoccluded objects underneath are recognized and the same process is continued until the bin gets empty. To recognize unoccluded objects, a new algotithm to link edges on slices which are generated by the orthogonally mounted laser on the xy table is proposed. The edges on slices are partitioned and classified using convex and concave function with a distance parameter. The edge types on the neighborhood slices are compared, then the hamming distances among identical kinds of edges are extracted as the features of fuzzy membership function. The sugeno fuzzy integration about features is used to determine linked edges. Finally, the pick-up sequence based on MaxMin theory is determined to cause minimal disturbance to the pile. This proposed method may provide a solution to the automation of part handling in manufacturing environments such as in punch press operation or part assembly.

  • A two-wheel balancing vehicle, which helps people moving freely and fast, and is applied from inverted pendulum system, has been widely researched and developed, and some products are came into a market in actuality. Until now, the two-wheel balancing vehicles developed have chosen the general PID control method. In this paper, we propose a new control method to improve a control capacity for a two-wheeled balancing vehicle for human transportation. The proposed method is the fuzzy PD+I control that is one of the improved PID control, and it contains a 2input-1output fuzzy system. This fuzzy system processes signals from proportional and derivative controller, and the fuzzy output signal generates the final output by summing up integral signal. The non-linearity of the fuzzy system makes an optimal output control signal by changing weight of the proportional signal and the derivative signal in process of time. We have simulated the fuzzy PD+I control system and experimented by implementing the two-wheel balancing mobile robot to verify the advantages of the proposed fuzzy PD+I control method in comparison with general PID control. As the results of simulation and experimentation, the proposed fuzzy PD+I control method has better control performance than general PID in this system and improves it.

Real Time Textile Animation Using Fuzzy Inference (퍼지추론을 적용한 직물 애니메이션)

  • A fuzzy inference technique for real-time textile animation without integration at textile model based Mass-Spring model is introduced. Until now many techniques have used the Mass-Spring model to describe elastically deformable objects like textile. A textile object is able to represent as a deformable surface composed of spring and masses, the movement of textile surface which is analysed through the numerical integration by the fundamental law of dynamics such as Hooke's law. However, the integration methods have 'instability problems' if the explicit Euler's method is applied or 'large amounts of calculation' if the implicit Euler's method is applied. A simple and fast animation technique for Mass-Spring model of a textile with fuzzy inference is proposed. The stabilized simulation result is obtained the state of each mass-point in real-time for the n of mass-points by a relatively simple calculation.

A Study on Reinforcement Planning of Transmission Lines for Composite Power System (복합계통의 송전설비 보강계획에 관한 연구)

  • Fuzzy theory is used to quantify some subjective criteria and consider uncertain factors for transmission line reinforcement planning in this paper. Sugeno's fuzzy integral is also used in the proposed method, because it can be easily allied to multi attribute decision making problems such as power system planning. To verify the proposed algorithm, some bode-neck lines are searched for the case that the amount of Maximal Load Supplying Capability(MLSC) is small using the results of contingency analysis for Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO)'s 345[kV] transmission line in 1998. And several feasible alternatives are composed for line reinforcement which can dissolve the bottle-neck.
