Feasibility Analysis of Korea TURA Reflecting Fuzzy Weights (Fuzzy 가중치를 반영한 배출 저감 규제의 타당성 분석)

  • The toxics regulatory body provides a benefit/cost ratio as a justification criterion while implementing regulations that induce the industry to reduce emissions voluntarily. Furthermore, since, the body wants to reflect not only the efficiency standard but also the policy standard in the evaluation of feasibility, it calculates the ratio by adjusting the importance weights. The problem is that respondents answer ambiguously. It should be removed for the reasonable evaluation. This study introduced a fuzzy-AHP methodology for this, and applied it to the voluntary emission reduction plan program in Korea.

An Optimized Combination of π-fuzzy Logic and Support Vector Machine for Stock Market Prediction (주식 시장 예측을 위한 π-퍼지 논리와 SVM의 최적 결합)

  • As the use of trading systems has increased rapidly, many researchers have become interested in developing effective stock market prediction models using artificial intelligence techniques. Stock market prediction involves multifaceted interactions between market-controlling factors and unknown random processes. A successful stock prediction model achieves the most accurate result from minimum input data with the least complex model. In this research, we develop a combination model of ${\pi}$-fuzzy logic and support vector machine (SVM) models, using a genetic algorithm to optimize the parameters of the SVM and ${\pi}$-fuzzy functions, as well as feature subset selection to improve the performance of stock market prediction. To evaluate the performance of our proposed model, we compare the performance of our model to other comparative models, including the logistic regression, multiple discriminant analysis, classification and regression tree, artificial neural network, SVM, and fuzzy SVM models, with the same data. The results show that our model outperforms all other comparative models in prediction accuracy as well as return on investment.

An Empirical Study on the Importance of Sales Agency in Apartment Sale by AHP and Fuzzy Analysis (AHP 및 Fuzzy 분석을 통한 분양대행사의 분양성 결정요인 중요도 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the importance of the determinants of housing sales agency's role in the sale of apartment housing. For this purpose, a hierarchical decision model was constructed to understand the role and importance of the sales agency. The analytical variable items structured by the research model were set up through literature review, precedent research, and expert brainstorming. The questionnaire consisted of two comparisons for AHP analysis and the importance of absolute importance for fuzzy analysis. Afterwards, the work of correcting the importance was carried out. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the contractor prioritized the sale conditions and the sales agency had priority over the planning for the sale. As a result of analysis, planning of customer pre-sale counseling data, planning of client subscription and contract maximization plan, planning method of advertisement public media method were found to be the most important factors. The results of measurement of absolute importance(fuzzy) & relative importance(,AHP) showed similar tendency. Therefore, it can be seen that the timing of the model house operation is an important period in which the subscription rate depends on the role of the sales agency and the marketing strategy.

Assessment of Port Development Priority with Conflicts among Decision Makers -From the Perspective of Environment-friendly Port Development- (의사결정자의 대립하 항만개발 우선순위 평가 -환경친화적 항만개발의 관점에서-)

  • In this study, the priority was assessed and the compensation relationships were analyzed with regard to the issue of port development with conflicts among decision makers. First, the assessment factors were selected by the relevant literatures on port development, and fuzzy structure modeling was used to select assessment factors via structuralization analysis. Second, the local residents, port users, and local government were chosen as the main port-development related entities, and the analytic hierarchy process was used to calculate the total assessment value. Third, the justice based on majority power rule method was used as an assessment method that would minimize the amount of complaints according to the total assessment results and the alternative selection when a partnership was formed among the assessment entities. Moreover, the compensation issue according to the alternative selection was quantified, and the compensation relationships were analyzed. As a result, it was found that port development in Busan must be the top priority in terms of port development in South Korea, that awareness of environmental issues must be promoted among the port users, and that the local governments must promote environmental incentive policies for Environment-friendly port development.

A Study on the Reduction of Greenhouse Gas in Container Terminal (컨테이너터미널의 온실가스 저감방안에 관한 연구)

  • This paper proposes a fuzzy-based AHP model by which the greenhouse gas reduction for container terminal problem was systematically structured and then evaluated. The model was established by exploiting a fuzzy theory and AHP for capturing the inexactness and vagueness of information. In this study, measurement areas were selected for equipment aspect, operating aspect, and energy aspect. The greenhouse gas reduction is the number one priority in the equipment aspect, operating aspect, energy aspect in order. The analysis result of equipment aspect reveals that the most important element is electrical T/C. The most important element of operating and energy aspect were a container rehandling and a LED lighting. As for the whole priority which conversion weight was applied, the results were shown as follows: an electrical T/C(16.2%) as the first rank: a hybrid Y/T(14.4%) as the second rank: a AMP(10.6%) as the third rank. The result of this study suggests some guidelines for deciding priority of greenhouse gas reduction for container terminal.

  • Current trend of audit is to check the physical aspects of developed information system, such as checking the budget constraints, time constraints or functional fluency etc. However, ultimate goal of information system is to help the organization to achieve the competency over their competitors. Also, there are three different interest groups in system auditing, like audit requesting group, audited group and audit group, who may have different points of interests in auditing. Current auditing process, however, ignores this point, and so does not check the differences between three groups. This study tries to develop new auditing method to cure these two problems. Contributions of this study may be summarized as follows. First, Introduce the new indexes that can check the possibility that the information system may contribute the competency of organization. Also check the feasibility of indexes through Fuzzy AHP. Second, Divide the audit related person into three groups, and their different needs toward the information system was analyzed. Third, Analyze and compare the main interests of three groups, and weights of each groups to each indexes were calculated. Fourth, Fuzzy theory was applied to quantify the qualitative answers, which may minimize the ambiguity of questionnaire replies.

Evaluation of Robust Performance of Fuzzy Supervisory Control Technique (퍼지관리제어기법의 강인성능평가)

  • Using the variable control gain scheme on the basis of fuzzy-based decision-making process, Fuzzy supervisory control (FSC) technique exhibits better control performance than linear control technique with one static control gain. This paper demonstrates the effectiveness of the FSC technique by evaluating the robust performance of the FSC technique under the presence of uncertainties in the models and the excitations. Robust performance of the FSC system is compared with that of optimally designed LQG control system for the benchmark cable-stayed bridge presented by Dyke et al. Parameter studies on the robust performance evaluation are carried out by varying the stiffness of the bridge model as well as the magnitudes of several earthquakes with different frequency contents. From the comparative study of two control systems, FSC system shows the enhanced control performance against various magnitudes of several earthquakes while maintaining lower level of power required for controlling the bridge response. Especially, FSC system clearly guarantees the improved robust performance of the control system with stable reduction effects on the seismic responses and slight increases in total power and stroke for the control system, while LQG control system exhibits poor robust performance.

  • 종래(從來)의 내비게이션시스템은 주로 선박(船舶)을 대상(對象)으로 이용되어왔으나, 최근(最近)에는 각종(各種) 이동(移動)로보트 및 자동차(自動車)에 대한 적용사례(適用事例)가 증가(增加)하고 있다. 내비게이션시스템은 기계적(機械的)인 이동(移動)시스템뿐만 아니라, 이동(移動)이라는 행동(行動)을 취하는 인간(人間)시스템 즉, 시각(視覺) 부자유자(不自由者를) 대상(對象)으로 적용(適用)될 수 있다. 종래(從來)의 기계적(機械的)인 맹인용(盲人用) 가이딩시스템으로서 맹도견(盲導犬)로보트가 있으나 계단(階段)등의 복잡(複雜)한 환경하(環境下에)서는 안내(案內)가 불가능(不可能)한 점과 맹인(盲人)의 의사(意思)가 반영(反映)되기 어렵다는 점 등의 많은 문제점(問題點)을 안고 있다. 현실적(現實的)으로 요구(要求)되는 안내(案內)시스템은, 단지 환경(環境)에 관한 각종정보(各種情報)를 제공(提供)하고 의사결정(意思決定)과 행동(行動)은 맹인(盲人)이 실시(實施)하는 시스템의 형태(形態)이다. 본논문(本論文)에서는, 맹인용(盲人用) 내비게이션시스템의 구축(構築)을 목표(目標)로 하는 중간과제(中間課題)로서, 화상(畵像)을 이용(利用)한 언어적(言語的) 가이드시스템을 제안(提案)한다. 당해(當該)시스템 구축(構築)에 있어서 중요(重要)한 과제(課題)는, 주어진 환경(環境)에 관한 화상정보(畵像情報)를 언어(言語)로 변환(變換)시키는 일이다 본연구(本硏究)에서는, 가이드를 위한 언어지원(言語指元) 생성(生成)에, 정성적(定性的), 정량적(定量的)인 속성(屬性)을 가지고 언어적(言語的) 표현(表現)에 유효(有效)한 퍼지이론(理論)을 이용(利用)한다. 구체적(具體的)인 일례(一例)로서, 공원(公園)에서 벤치까지 맹인(盲人)을 가이드하는 상황(狀況)을 설정하고 언어지원(言語指元)을 생성(生成)하는 알고리즘을 제안(提案)한다.

A Study on the Urban Growth Patterns Focusing on Regional Characteristics (지역적 특성을 고려한 도시 성장 패턴에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the growing course of Busan, Gimhae and Jinhae and further find patterns of the urban growth. This study shows that patterns of the urban growth differ from city to city, being influenced by the city's characteristics. Acknowledging this fact would help the decision maker to determine the developing plan of the urban. The methodology for this study is as follows; Fuzzy set concept is applied to minimize the data loss. At the same time, the AHP is used to give a relative weight to each factor. In order to be able to manage the change based on the dynamic model and time, Cellular Automata is introduced to simulate the growth of urban. The results show that the pattern of Gimhae's and Jinhae's growth is the same, whereas that of Busan is different from them. That is to say, each city has regional characteristics. And the pattern of the urban growth is influenced by the regional conditions of the city.

Evaluating and Suggesting Key Risk Factors according to Risk Hierarchy of Occurrence Field in the Overseas Development Projects (발생영역별 리스크 위계에 따른 투자개발형 해외건설사업의 핵심 리스크 인자 도출 및 평가)

  • The Korean Government recently has been focused on strengthening competitiveness of order and stimulating construction market in the international construction industry. It has planned to extend the ODPs (overseas development projects) in order to diversifying the international construction market of which is domestic construction companies, placing too much emphasis on plant projects of the Middle East. However, literature review of risk analysis in the ODPs shows that the number of case study is several. Therefore, Authors asserted the necessity of risk analysis in the ODPs. The purpose of this study is to suggest a methodology that find KRFs (key risk factors) in the ODPs and analyze them, using AHP and Fuzzy theory. As a result, the 37 KRFs are selected and explained characteristics of them. A future direction of this study is to suggest a risk management model in the ODPs and prove feasibility of it.
