ITU-T에서 인터넷 폰과 화상회의에 사용하기 위하여 개발된 G.723.1 음성 부호화기는 잡음 구간에서의 전송률을 낮추기 위한 방법으로 VAD(Voice Activity Detector)와 CNG(Comfort Noise Generator)를 사용하고 있다. 여기서 VAD는 최종적으로 현재 프레임의 에너지 레벨을 비교하여 음성의 활동 유무를 판정하고 있다. 하지만 G.723.1 VAD에서는 보다 안정적인 판정을 위해 음성 활동 구간 사이에 삽입되어 있는 묵음 구간에 대해서는 거의 대부분 음성이 활동하는 영역으로 판정을 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 묵음 구간에 대해 보다 정확한 판정을 통하여 기존의 방법에 비해 전송율을 더욱 감소시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 실험에서는 묵음구간을 길게 조절한 문장을 사용하여 측정한 결과 약 50% 정도의 전송율을 감소시킬 수 있었으며, MOS 테스트 결과, 음질의 열하는 발생하지 않았다.

In this paper, the criteria of the lateral displacement in soft soil due to embankment were evaluated. The lateral displacement was measured at a pier structure in a new harbor construction site, and the measurement was compared with the criteria. The results by the measurement such as the critical pressure causing lateral movement in terms of undrained strength, the lateral movement index by Japan Highway Co., the lateral displacement index by Japan Construction Ministry, the modified index by Korean Highway Co. were estimated to be lower than the respective index values.

In general, the quality of agricultural products is determined by direct measurement of a weight or a magnitude, and it is determined by indirect or non-destructive method. In this paper, using color image processing, the algorithm to determine its quality and grading is presented. And the algorithm is applied to real-time citrus classifier. In the system, the size and color of orange are measured by not the sight of human but the digital image processing. The citrus classification system has the real-time maximum classification capacity of six quantify per one second. The system can be applied to controller design for the quality classification of agricultural products.

본 연구에서는 한국형 e-Navigation 선내시스템 원격 모니터링 서비스(SV20) 중 복원성 및 화재 판정 모듈의 개발과 운용개념에 대해서 소개하였다. 구체적으로는 선박의 복원성(안정성)과 관련된 메타센터 높이(GM), 복원성지수, 운동성지수 그리고 선체-파랑 동조위험성의 산출 및 표출에 대한 방안과 선내 화재정보의 표출 방안을 설명하고, 개발 진행사항 그리고 향후 연구 등을 기술하였다.
