  • 건설교통부 표준발파패턴 중 암파쇄굴착공법(pattern-1)에 해당하는 구간에서 적용할 수 있는 공법중의 하나로서 새로운 물질과 반응촉발장치를 이용하는 파암공법이다. 본 공법에 대한 이해를 돕기 위해 새로운 물질의 특성시험, 파암진동과 발파진동과의 비교 고찰하고, 각종 화약류와의 폭발소음을 비교분석 하였으며, 본 공법을 파암현장에 적용함에 있어 암질에 따른 설계기법 및 시공방법 등에 대해 연구하였다.

Experience of the Application of a Rock Cracking Method Using Steam Pressure to Tunnel Excavation (증기압을 이용한 파암공법의 현장 적용성 연구)

  • In this study, the characteristics of a new rock cracking method using steam pressure are briefly presented. The rock cracking method was originally developed as a means to decrease the ground vibrations from underground rock excavations. The validation tests were also conducted by applying the method to an actual rock tunnel under construction. The ground vibrations were measured in the vicinity of the test site. The measured vibration results were compared with the values predicted by an attenuation equation, which had been proposed by a company in Japan. Also, a simple cost assessment for the method was conducted to demonstrate its cost effectiveness in underground tunnel excavations.

  • For the excavation of the rock, blast method is put into operation in most of the construction site in Korea. In comparison to other methods of excavation, blast method has many merits such as improvement in efficiency in operation, reducement of operation period, and etc. However, blast operation also creates much loss due to the blast vibration, noise, and fly rocks. Thus, in this study, we have examined main features, rock fragmentation effect and the application of plasma method the one of shallow vibration method. In this study, the attenuation exponent of blast method operated in the site was 1.39~1.40 and that of the plasma method was analysed to be 1.45~2.23. From the location where the distance between excavation location and observation location was over 15 m, most of excavation vibration were measured to be less than 0.2 kine(cm/sec), which is also the allowed standard value of sensitive buildings, such as cultural assets and computer facilities. According to the result of FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) analysis, the frequency measured through blast method in this site was 30~50 Hz and the frequency of plasma method ranges in between 30~130 Hz.

  • Blasting method is used most engineering works for rock excavation. Blasting method is done much to upgrade of operation efficiency, contraction of construction period than other method. But blasting method happens damage by blasting vibration, nose and scattering. Therefore this study examined about effect, characteristic and application of Plasma method. To confirm effect measured vibration, noise and frequency, and analyzed data compare with general blasting.
