We evaluate the technical competitiveness of Korea in lubricating oil industries by comparatively analyzing the patent activities. In achieving the goal, we collect and statistically analyze the historical patent data of lubricants production technologies. We here consider nine technology groups classified by their raw material types and process features of four countries such as USA, Japan, EU and Korea. We then evaluate Korea's competitiveness in lubricating oil industries using different patent index including patent family size, cites per patent, patent impact index and technology strength. Based on the evaluation results, we finally propose the practical strategies to improve Korea's competitiveness in lubricants industries.

This study aims to establish an efficient future technology development strategy in the information and telecommunications industry by grasping related technology trends and fusion complexity through an analysis based on standard patents. Analyzing 1,983 patents related to the information and telecommunications industry identified the trends in major patent applicants and detailed technologies in the world. In addition, technology trends were investigated through keyword analysis to examine the degree of complexity in information and communications technology, confirming the direction of research in information technology. Electronic component and wireless communications fields have relatively few standard patents, but they are highly convergent with other industrial technologies. Computer information processes and communication and broadcasting technologies are highly related to each other, so they can be used as standard fusion technologies in standard patents. In addition, standardization activities in optical and image/sound devices are found to be high.

The innovation is an important element controlling national economic growth and the competitive power reinforcement of the company. The developed nations concentrate interest on upbringing and investment in knowledge intensive industry and advanced technology base industry for national competitive power reinforcement. I support in particular it as Korean representative industry in the case of the advanced technology base industry positively in the government. Though a patent can become the important competition predominance element of the company by such an advanced technology base industry, this and the proof study in the country to be concerned with are the facts that are not enough now. As for the article of the book, what kind of difference there is in importance by IT and BT industry distinction comment on current events value factors of the patent valuation; of the study is aimed. I derived an importance factor among factors shown in the valuation model of the patent valuation organization and an existing precedent study for comparison analysis in the study and used it. 본 연구는 기업 간 협력과 경쟁력 강화를 위한 특허 기반 유사 기업 추천 모델을 제안한다. 제안 모델은 특허 데이터와 한국표준산업분류(KSIC) 정보를 활용하여, 특허 정보를 기반으로 기업 간 유사성을 평가하고 유사한 기업을 추천한다. 제안 모델은 특허 초록 정보와 한국표준산업분류를 사용하여 기술 측면에서 기업별 특성을 고려한 기업 대표 벡터를 생성한다. 또한, 기업의 특허 수를 고려하여 정확한 유사기업 추천을 제공합니다. 제안 모델은 기업들이 협력 파트너를 찾고 새로운 비즈니스 기회를 모색하는 데에 도움을 줄 수 있으며, 현재는 NTIS(www.ntis.go.kr)의 분류기반 특허분석 서비스에서 사용 중이다.

This study aims to measure Korea's global competitiveness in intelligent information technology, which is the core technology of the 4th industrial revolution. For analysis, we collect patents of each field and prior patents cited by them, which are applied at the U.S. Patent Office (USPTO) between 2010 and 2018 from PATSTAT Online. A global knowledge transfer network was established by grouping citing- and cited-relationships at a national level. The in-degree centrality is used to evaluate technology acceptance, which indicates the process of absorbing existing technological knowledge to create new knowledge in each field. Second, to evaluate the impact of existing technological knowledge on the creation of new one, the out-degree centrality is investigated. Third, we apply the PageRank algorithm to qualitatively and quantitatively investigate the importance of the relationships between countries. As a result, it is confirmed through all the indicators that the AI sector is currently the least competitive.
