Old maps of Dokdo are records with the physical specificities of a map while also holding historical meanings and evidencial values as ancient writings. Therefore more detail and meaningful descriptions are needed than other general records. However, in comparison to the high interest in these maps, there is a lack of systematic and integrative descriptions. Hence, this study aimed to propose the description elements of the old maps of Dokdo holding evidential values. For this purpose, first, literature reviews and the characteristics of the old maps of Dokdo were analyzed. Next, for determining description elements using institutions that possess old maps of Dokdo, case studies were conducted in 12 domestic and foreign institutions and compared the rules of ISAD(G). The final description elements were suggested by reflecting on the evaluation of five experts in old maps. Fifty description elements in a total of 8 areas - identity areas, context areas, content and structure areas, conditions of access and use areas, allied materials areas, note areas, description control areas, and other areas were proposed.
Traditionally, the concept of transfer is that physical records such as paper documents, videos, photos are made a delivery to Archives or Records centers on the basis of transfer guidelines. But, with the automation of records management environment and spreading new records creation and management applications, we can create records and manage them in the cyberspace. In these reasons, the existing transfer system is that we move filed records to Archives or Records centers by paper boxes, needs to be changed. Under the needing conditions of a new transfer paradigm, the fact that the revision of Records Act that include some provisions about electronic records management and transfer, is desirable and proper. Nevertheless, the electronic transfer provisions are too conceptional to apply records management practice, so we have to develop detailed methods and processes. In this context, this paper suggest that a electronic records transfer process model on the basis of international standard and foreign countries' cases. Doing transfer records is one of the records management courses to use valuable records in the future. So, both producer and archive have to transfer records itself and context information to long-term preservation repository according to the transfer guidelines. In the long run, transfer comes to be the conclusion that records are moved to archive by a formal transfer process with taking a proper records protection steps. To accomplish these purposes, I analyzed the 'OAIS Reference Model' and 'Producer-Archive Interface Methodology Abstract Standard-CCSDS Blue Book' which is made by CCSDS(Consultative committee for Space Data Systems). but from both the words of 'Reference Model' and 'Standard', we can understand that these standard are not suitable for applying business practice directly. To solve this problem, I also analyzed foreign countries' transfer cases. Through the analysis of theory and case, I suggest that an Electronic Records Transfer Process Model which is consist of five sub-process that are 'Ingest prepare ${\rightarrow}$ Ingest ${\rightarrow}$ Validation ${\rightarrow}$ Preservation ${\rightarrow}$ Archival storage' and each sub-process also have some transfer elements. Especially, to confirm the new process model's feasibility, after classifying two types - one is from Public Records center to Public Archive, the other is from Civil Records center to Public or Civil Archive - of Korean Transfer, I made the new Transfer Model applied to the two types of transfer cases.

The strain release associated with historical and instrumental earthquoke data are analyzed. In addition, the relationship between engineering intensity and cumulative frequency of earthquake occurrence is investigated. Based on the study, a seimic zoning map of the Korean peninsula is constructed. For each seismic zone, a peak ground acceleration value is determined for the aseismic designs of two types of structures. First type is general structures like buildings and the second type is special structures like nuclear power plants.
Records of architectural cultural properties, in case of accidents, show who are to blame, present what evidences are to establish the cause, and also are used for checking if there were any problem in policies and regulations in preserving and caring architectural cultural properties. These records are of great importance in their roles and are of essential use regardless of time and space. Considering its significance, In that architectural cultural properties requires setting clear goals and directions and as well, criteria, for management, we need methods of systematical control and consideration for its characteristics. This research started with the sense of purpose that managing architectural cultural properties are in need of systematic and concrete control, based on the perception that they need protecting and transmitting. The goal of this thesis is to work on the current archiving status of architectural cultural properties by monitoring patterns and processes in archival administration, to diagnose problems by looking into the records creation and management, and to present the improvement plan which would lead to the architectural cultural properties' more efficient management and better use in the future. The management of architectural cultural properties begins with registering and assigning. Cultural Heritage Administration is in charge of control, supervision, and budget and local governments deal with direct management. Accordingly, records are by the hands of each local governmental body. Currently, each cultural property has its management depending on every different working environment in each governmental body. Architectural cultural properties needs managing in one body through the synthetic and unified, concrete and systematic manual and guide for management. Archiving architectural cultural properties have need of unitive management through a professional system, considering the physical characteristics and history of archiving. Unified management system will enhance efficiency and actual use of architectural cultural property records if one governmental body undertakes uniting records through standardization and professional supervision, and data-based unified search engine would enhance efficiency and actual use. Therefore, I suggest that Archives for Architectural Cultural Properties should be established as a professional Archives and wholly responsible body for the purpose of systematically and unifiedly managing architectural cultural property records with professional personnel and facility and transmitting their historical, cultural, and academic value. In Korea, studies up to the present have mainly focused on managing architectural records and records of drawing while few efforts were made to directly deal with managing architectural cultural properties themselves. The focus of this thesis is to study the current status and establish problems of the management of architectural cultural properties in administrative process, and as a result, to propose to establish Archives for Architectural Cultural Properties as a professional archives.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the chemical reaction pathway for explosion accident of mixed cargo. The analysis used a structural scenario using event-tree analysis. Structural scenarios were constructed by estimating various chemical reaction paths in the content of the mixed cargo accident recorded in the written verdict. The analytical method was applied to three kinds of analysis: chemical analysis based on chemical theory, quantitative analysis using chemical reaction formula, and probabilistic analysis through questionnaire. As a result of analysis, the main pathway of the accident occurred in three ways: the path of explosion due to the reaction of concentrated sulfuric acid with water, the path of explosion due to the reaction of metal and mixed acid, and the path of explosion by synthesizing with special substances. This result is similar to the path recorded in the validation, and it leads to thar the proposed path analysis method is valid. The proposed method is expected to be applicable to chemical reaction path estimation of various chemical accidents.

This study is Long term preservation measures which is closely related to preserving paper records, record condition evaluation, preservation measure and is conducted as follows. As for Means to Evaluate the Deterioration and Damaged Conditions of Records, research and analysis has been made on the contamination and deterioration examples such as damage, dry, stapler, metal, contamination, acidification which are the characteristics of paper record damage types. The of Paper record is one of the key procedures to evaluate the record material and its physi-chemical status in many criteria and to suggest the best preservation method. Between 1970 and 2000, the main record materials was fine paper and OMR paper along with partly newspaper and coarse paper, whereas the main recording material was ball point pen. Overall damage and deterioration status is, for record materials between 1940 and 1960, high deterioration was found and in urgent need for preservation measure and more damages are caused by tapes, staplers and metals. As for records after 1970, there is light deterioration but needs preservation process. There are approximately 3 million records produces before 2000, and assuming that there are 30 pages per record and that 30% has been damaged or deteriorated, 27 million pages are subject to preservation process. Among damaged or deteriorated records, there are large number of records impossible to go through deacidification process so manual preservation and restoration process is necessary as well. Securing manpower having preservation and restoration skills as well as preservation equipment(deacidification process, preservation and restoration) is in urgent need.

This study presents the emergency assessment method about seismic safety of cable-supported bridges using seismic acceleration sensors installed on the primary structural elements of them. The structural models of bridges are updated iteratively to make their dynamic characteristics to be similar to those of real bridges based on the comparison of their natural frequencies with those of real bridges estimated from acceleration data measured at ordinary times by the seismic acceleration sensor. The displacement at the location of each seismic acceleration sensor is derived by seismic analysis using design earthquake, and the peak value of them is determined as the disaster management criteria in advance. The displacement time history is calculated by the double integration of the acceleration time history which is recorded at each seismic acceleration sensor and filtered by high cut(low pass) and low cut(high pass) filters. Finally, the seismic safety is evaluated by the comparison of the peak value in calculated displacement time history with the disaster management criteria determined in advance. The applicability of proposed methodology is verified by performing the seismic safety assessment of 12 cable-supported bridges using the acceleration data recorded during Gyeongju earthquake.
The digital data were obtained using Kennedy 9000 magnetic tape deck which was connected to the SMS960 side scan sonar during the field operations. The data of three consecutive survey tracks near Seongsan-po, Cheju were used for the development of this study. The softwares were mainly written in Fortran-77 using VAX 11/780 MINI-COMPUTER (CPU Memory; 4MB). The established mapping system consists of the pretreatment and the digital processing of seafloor image data. The pretreatment was necessary because the raw digital data format of the field magnetic tapes was not compatible to the VAX system. Therefore the raw data were read by the personal computer using the Assembler language and the data format was converted to IBM compatible, and next data were communicated to the VAX system. The digital processing includes geometrical correction for slant range, statistical analysis and cartography of the seafloor image. The sound speed in the water column was assumed 1,500 m/sec for the slant range correction and the moving average method was used for the signal trace smoothing. Histograms and cumulative curves were established for the statistical analysis, that was purposed to classify the backscattering strength from the sea-bottom. The seafloor image was displayed on the color screen of the TEKTRONIX 4113B terminal. According to the brief interpretation of the result image map, rocky and sedimentary bottoms were very well discriminated. Also it was shown that the backscattered acoustic pressurecorrelateswith the grain size and sorting of surface sediments.
This study has evaluated the stream gauge network with the main emphasis on if the current stream gauge network can catch the runoff characteristics of the basin. As the evaluation of the stream gauge network in this study does not consider a special purpose of a stream gauge, nor the effect from a hydraulic structure, it becomes an optimization of current stream gauge network under the condition that each stream gauge measures the natural runoff volume. This study has been applied to the Nam-Han River Basin for the optimization of total 31 stream gauge stations using the entropy concept. Summarizing the results are as follows. (1) The unit hydrograph representing the basin response from rainfall can be transferred into a probability density function for the application of the entropy concept to optimize the stream gauge network. (2) Accurate derivation of unit hydrographs representing stream gauge sites was found the most important part for the evaluation of stream gauge network, which was assured in this research by comparing the measured and derived unit hydrographs. (3) The Nam-Han River Basin was found to need at least 28 stream gauge stations, which was derived by considering both the shape of the unit hydrograph and the runoff volume. If considering only the shape of the unit hydrograph, the number of stream gauges required decreases to 23.

Cyber attacks are increasing worldwide, and attacks on personal privacy such as CCTV and IP camera hacking are also increasing. If you search for IP camera hacking methods in spaces such as YouTube, SNS, and the dark web, you can easily get data and hacking programs are also on sale. If you use an IP camera that has vulnerabilities used by hacking programs, you easily get hacked even if you change your password regularly or use a complex password including special characters, uppercase and lowercase letters, and numbers. Although news and media have raised concerns about the security of IP cameras and suggested measures to prevent damage, hacking incidents continue to occur. In order to prevent such hacking damage, it is necessary to identify the cause of the hacking incident and take concrete measures. First, we analyzed weak account settings and web server vulnerabilities of IP cameras, which are the causes of IP camera hacking, and suggested solutions. In addition, as a specific countermeasure against hacking, it is proposed to add a function to receive a notification when an IP camera is connected and a function to save the connection history. If there is such a function, the fact of damage can be recognized immediately, and important data can be left in arresting criminals. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method to increase the safety from hacking by using the connection notification function and logging function of the IP camera.
