Characteristics of the Rollover Critical Speed of a Trailer Equipped with a Tilting System (틸팅 시스템을 장착한 트레일러의 전복임계속도 특성)

  • Rollover is a major concern for vehicles with a higher center of gravity and for improving driving performance. This study investigates a tilting system to prevent rollover, which was successfully implemented for high-speed trains. It may be useful to apply the concept of the tilting system to a large truck such as a trailer. Even a small adjustment in the tilting angle can improve the driving stability during a steep turn. The equation of motion was derived from a dynamic model of the trailer with the tilting system. The balance of the centrifugal force and normal force determines the rollover critical speed for a given radius of the turn and load. To obtain a more conservative criterion, the rollover critical state was defined as the instant when any side wheel loses contact with the road. To actuate the tilting system, the optimal tilting angle must be calculated from the steering angle and the vehicle speed. Using a simplified model of a large truck, the effects of the tilting angle and load on the rollover critical speed were investigated.

  • 본 논문은 이산 시간 Takagi-Sugeno (TS) 퍼지 시스템에 대한 출력 추종 제어기 설계에 관하여 연구한다. 출력 추종 제어기의 설계를 위하여 이산 시간 TS 퍼지 시스템을 불확실성을 포함한 선형 시스템의 집합으로서 표현하는 기법을 제시한다. 시스템의 상태에 대하여 어파인 변환을 하여 출력 추종 제어문제를 안정화 문제로 변환한다. 점근적 추종성능을 보장하는 제어기 설계를 위한 충분조건은 선형 행렬 부등식의 형태로 표현되면 주어진 제어기 설계의 해는 여러 가지 수치적 기법을 이용하여 효율적으로 구해질 수 있다. 트레일러 트럭의 임의의 위치에 후진 주차시키기 위한 제어기 설계의 예를 통하여 본 논문에서 제안한 추종 제어 기법의 효용성을 검증한다.

  • 항만 서비스 의미가 선박의 양적하뿐만 아니라 육로를 통해 반출입되는트레일러의 하역도 포함 디지털프랜스포메이션가속화에 따라 IoT, 빅데이타, 인공지능을 활용한 항만의 생산성 증대 방안으로 선박의 TAT뿐만 아니라 항만 반출입트럭TAT 감축의 중요성도 같이 높아지고 있음 컨테이너 이송 트럭의 TAT에 대한 정확한 측정과 TAT에 영향을 미치는 요인의 규명은 컨테이너 운송에 중요한 역할을 한다고 할 수 있음 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 IoT 기술로 수집된 빅데이터를 활용해 실질적인 차량 반출입시간을 분석한 새로운 항만 반출입차량 TAT 데이터와 기후, 부두 실적, 기항 선박 사이즈, 시간대 등 다양한 항만물류빅데이터를이용하여 항만 반출입차량 TAT에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고 나아가 항만물류빅데이터분석을 위한 빅데이터 수집 방법을 연구하는데 목적이 있음

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 차종분류기준을 검토하고 현재 건설교통부의 교통량조사를 위한 차종분류기준을 중심으로 문제점을 파악하여 이를 해결할 수 있는 개선된 차종분류기준을 제시하였다 제시된 차종분류기준은 차종별로 조사된 교통량의 이용목적에 맞도록 현행 차종분류기준의 문제점을 개선하는 방향으로 구성하였다. 제시된 차종분류기준은 승용차, 버스, 화물차로 구분되며 화물차는 트럭, 세미트레일러, 트럭트레일러로 구분되어, 차량의 제원과 재차인원 및 적재중량을 고려해 도로포장과 교통류 해석에 이용되도록 14종으로 제시하였다 제 시된 차종분류기준은 차종별 교통량의 이용목적에 맞도록 재구성되어 활용될 수 있으며 따라서 도로교통량 통계연보의 활용도를 제고하게 될 것이다.

  • This paper presents a fuzzy control scheme for backing up control of Truck-Trailer, which is nonlinear and unstable by using TSK(Takagi-Sugeno-kang) fuzzy system. The nonlinear system of Truck-Trailer was expressed by using TSK fuzzy model, and the TSK fuzzy controller was designed from TSK fuzzy model. The usefulness of the proposed algorithm for backing up truck-trailer is certificated by the computer simulations.

  • In this paper, the implementation of the backward movement control of a truck-trailer type mobile robot using fuzzy model based control scheme considering the practical constraints, computing time-delay and quantization is presented. We propose the fuzzy feedback controller whose output is delayed with unit sampling period and predicted. The analysis and the design problem considering the computing time-delay become very easy because the proposed controller is syncronized with the sampling time. Also, the stability analysis is made when the quantization exists in the implementation of the fuzzy control architectures and it is shown that if the trivial solution of the fuzzy control system without quantization is asymptotically stable, then the solutions of the fuzzy control system with quantization are uniformly ultimately bounded. The experimental results are shown to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

Dynamic Response of Steel Plate Girder Bridges by the KL-510 Load (KL-510 하중에 의한 강판형교의 동적응답)

  • Dynamic response of steel plate girder bridges by KL-510 design truck in KHBDC considering the road surface roughness of bridges and bridge-vehicle interaction is investigated. Simply supported steel plate girder bridges with span length of 20m, 30m, and 40m from "Standard Highway Bridge Superstructure" published by the Korean Ministry of Construction are used for a bridge model, and ten sets of the road surface roughness of bridge deck are generated from power spectral density (PSD) function by assuming the roadway as "Average Road". A three dimensionally modeled 5-axle tractor-trailer with its gross weight, which is the same as that of KL-510 design truck, is used for dynamic analysis. For the finite element modeling of superstructure, beam element for the main girder, shell element for the concrete deck, and rigid link between main girder and concrete deck are used. Impact factor and DLA of steel plate girder bridges for different span are calculated by the proposed numerical analysis model and compared with those specified by several bridge codes.

Parking Control for a Container Trailer Truck Using Fuzzy Theory (퍼지이론을 이용한 컨테이너 트레일러ㆍ트럭의 주차제어)

  • A trailer truck is a major equipment for transporting containers, and its driving is difficult due to two degrees of freedom which exist in the joint part between truck and trailer. Especially Backing a trailer truck to a parking home is a difficult exercise for all but the most skilled truck drivers. Normal driving instincts lead to erroneous movements. When watching a truck driver backing toward a parking home, one often observes the driver backing, going forward, backing again, going forward, etc., and finally backing to the desired position along the parking home. This paper discusses the design of the controller to control the steering of a trailer truck while only backing up to a parking home from an initial position. In this paper, we propose a backing up control system for a container trailer truck using fuzzy theory where the primitive fuzzy control rules are macroscopically designed using an expert's knowledge, and the control rules are regulated by LIBL(Linguistic Instruction Based Learning) to enable to back up successfully the trailer tuck to a parking home from arbitrary initial position. The validity of the proposed parking control system is shown by applying it to some initial positions on the simulator for container trailer truck.

  • Along with the increase in global volume of goods, logistics companies are trying to reduce costs by increasing the size of ships carrying cargo, increasing the efficiency of quantitative equipment at ports, and unmanned electric vehicles on land. Korean naval ports are also facing the same situation as the global trend. In the past, small and medium-sized ships such as FF, PCC, and beheaded eagles are being retired for their longevity, and their positions are being replaced by large ships such as KDX, FFG, and LST-II. In particular, large ships such as Dokdo and the next light aircraft carriers are also being prepared. Unlike general merchant ships, naval ships require periodic inspections and preventive maintenance, so repair piers such as maintenance depots are in operation. The naval maintenance depot mainly uses trailers, trucks, and truck-type cranes to carry out loading and unloading of heavy ships, and the application or development of automation and unmanned equipment performed by the private sector is inadequate, and self-improvement cases are also very weak. This study aims to improve the efficiency of the military logistics system through research on the logistics system such as transport, storage and unloading of heavy goods and maintenance products of naval ships.

Analysis on the Characteristics of Hazardous Chemical Transport Vehicle Accidents in Korea (국내 유해화학물질 운송차량사고 특성분석)

  • Purpose: In this study, the characteristics of hazardous chemical transport vehicle accidents during the last six years from 2014 to 2019 was analyzed. This study is to prevent chemical transport accidents. Method: Using statistics from the Ministry of Environment, chemical transport vehicle accidents were classified into accident type, accident cause and vehicle type. Result: Of the total 506 cases chemical accidents, 105 cases were caused by transport vehicle. More than 20 percent of total accidents were reported. Most of the accidents were caused by spill·leak. The main causes of the accident were traffic accidents(49 cases) and management negligence(29 cases). This was more than 74% of all transport vehicle accidents. By vehicle type, 57 cases(54%) were most common in tank lorries, followed by trucks (39 cases, 37%) and trailers (9 cases, 9%). Conclusion: In order to prevent accident of transport vehicle, thorough inspection of the transport vehicle is required and safe operation of the driver. In addition, the government needs to expand real-time monitoring of transport vehicles and comprehensively manage different systems by the relevant ministries.
