Considering that firms' view on R&D activities may differ depending on the economic situation, in this paper, R&D policies that significantly affect the business performance are identified. The analysis is conducted by dividing the analysis time-frame into before and after the economic recession. In addition, we analyze by considering the type of industry, the proportion of R&D investment, and the type of government support policy that the companies participate in. According to the results of the empirical analysis, the provision of global market and technology information is recognized to give a significant impact on business performance for both before and after the economic recession. It is shown that recognizing the importance of 'supporting self-technology development', 'enhancing technical cooperation with foreign countries', and 'enhancing the contract and intellectual property protection system' that had significant effects before the recession did not significantly affect the business performance after the recession. The analysis results could give meaningful implications to the government for deciding which R&D activities should be supported.

Viral video advertising is being used in the advertising and film industry for pre-promotion of certain products or pre-release films which has a lot of effect on investment. An analysis of viral video recognition is needed to predict future development directions. In response, the study conducted a survey on viral videos, focusing on college students in their 20s, who are the most exposed to advertisements and movies. Through this, the survey was conducted on recognition of viral videos, memorable viral videos, satisfaction level, message propagation method, positiveness of viral videos, expected future development, and desired viral video type. The survey showed that viral video recognition was 16.7% and the most memorable viral video; the "Let it Go" viral video from the movie "Frozen" was 69.1 %, according to the survey. The satisfaction level was not high at 31.2 %, and 73.5% of people sent messages to others after watching viral videos, which was very high. Negative opinions on viral videos were low at 13.7 %. 64.5% of the surveyors said the future of the viral videos would "develop" and 6.7% said would "not develop."

This paper analyzes whether local public expenditures have converged during the 1985-2011 periods in Korea, using the sixteen metropolitan and provincial governments data. We analyze the convergence of per capita real local public expenditures in terms of both static view and dynamic view of convergence. Furthermore, we derive the estimating equation for per capita real local government expenditure growth function from theoretical model based on Skidmore et al.(2004)[23]. The main results from empirical analyses are such that an increase in aged people helped local government expenditures increase. Also, we found that the convergence speed of economic expenditure is greater than that of social welfare expenditure. Similarly the convergence speed of public capital expenditure is greater than that of public consumption expenditure. In the future we had better examine the convergence of local public goods taking into account their congestion rates.

This article focuses on an analysis of entrepreneurship education programs at U.S. college and universities in order to determine distinctive features of those programs. To this end, we delved into the entrepreneurship programs including Martin Trust Center for MIT, Harvard University VIP program, Polsky Center of Chicago University and Stanford University program. By analyzing major roles, curriculums, and characteristics of the programs, three types of distinctive features emerged. The first feature is dynamic education-focused programs, which provide students with opportunities for applying what they have learned through startup competitions. The second is local-based programs, which take the lead in local startups by focusing on the local industry. The third is the programs with support and encouragement for startups. Based on the three types of features, we suggested critical factors for successful entrepreneurship education.

The purpose of this study is to portray the current condition of digital reading rooms in public libraries in specific terms of information resource constituencies. With the growth in numbers of public libraries in Korea, emphasis was also put on digital information services using digital reading rooms in public libraries. However, it is also recognized that these digital reading rooms are merely traditional reading rooms with equipment. In this regard, the objective for the study was to identify and describe the types of electronic information resources in order to determine the rationale for the development of digital information resource management in public libraries. The focus was especially put on investigating the quality and the degree of perceived importance of electronic resources. Data for this case study was collected from four relatively big public libraries in three cities. The investigation was conducted by the document reviews and surveys and interviews with librarians and patrons. The study found that digital resource management should be put on a new stage, especially in terms of education and reliable information for the regional community. The study also added some suggestions for the future development and refinement of electronic resource management in public libraries.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the home trading system (HTS) of the security companies in order to examine the critical factors of HTS service quality and the effect of these factors on HTS customer satisfaction and loyalty. The results show : (1) the quality factors of HTS are assurance, reliability, tangible, responsiveness, and empathy, (2) and these quality factors significantly affect customer satisfaction on HTS and customer satisfaction and loyalty to the security company. (3) Also, customer satisfaction on HTS plays an important role in improving customer satisfaction and loyalty to the security company.

오늘날 경제 성장의 발전은 현대인의 삶의 여유를 가져오게 되었으며, 그 중 뷰티산업의 발전은 국가 주력의 산업으로 발전하게 되었다. 이에 뷰티산업의 구성원인 여성의 사회진출의 기회가 증가 되었고, 이로 인해 여성들은 사회 적응을 위한 하나의 방법으로 외모적인 경쟁력을 가져야 했다. 외모에 대한 관심은 물론 매스미디어의 증가, 사회적, 문화적 분위기, 미용기술의 발달 등을 들 수 있다. 외모의 사전적의미로는 겉으로 나타나는 모습으로 외모관리를 위한 영역으로 피부 관리를 꼽을 수 있다. 피부 관리는 미에 관한 현대 여성의 관심의 증가로, 시간과 비용을 투자하여 외적으로 보여주는 관리로서 외모관리의 대표적 부분으로 중요시 되어오고 있다. 피부의 건강관리는 인식도 중요하고 실천도 중요하다. 그러나 인식과 실천의 관계를 구체적으로 연구한 논문은 부족한 실정이다. 특히 성인여성들을 대상으로 건강관리 인식과 실천을 연구하여 피부건강 관리에 대한 올바른 방안을 제시해준 논문이 필요하다고 생각하여 본 연구자는 이 논문을 설계하게 되었다. 본 연구의 조사대상은 서울지역에 거주하는 20세 이상 60세 미만의 신 성인여성을 대상으로 2017년 5월 02일부터 7월 30일까지 2달 동안 설문조사를 실시하였다. 모집단은 서울지역에 사는 성인 여성을 대상으로 총 400부의 설문지를 배포하였다. 그 중 응답이 불량한 사람 49부를 제외되고 351부가 최종 자료로 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조사대상자의 인구통계학적 특성을 알아본 결과, 연령은 '21-30세'가 85.2%로 가장 많았고, 결혼 상태는 '미혼'이 89.5%, 직업은 '학생' 67.0%, 최종학력은 '대학교 재학/졸업'이 68.1%, '가계의 월 소득은 '200만원 미만'이 71.8%로 가장 많이 소비되는 것으로 나타났다. 이상은 이혜원 (2009)의 논문과 같이 연령이 낮을수록 피부인식이 높아지며, 이들은 잠정고객으로서 피부 건강에 대한 비용을 높게 지불한다는 결과와 유사하다. 피부 관리실의 특성은 다음과 같다. 피부유형은 '복합성'이 47.6%, 적정 피부 관리 횟수는 '주 2회'가 32.5%, 적정 1회 피부 관리 비용으로는 '5만 원 이하'가 가장 많았으며, 피부 관리의 목적으로는 '여드름관리'가 32.8%, 피부 관리에서 중요하게 인식하는 부분으로는 '생활습관'이 79.8%로 대부분이었고, 피부의 유해요인으로는 '스트레스' 42.7%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 이상은 유유정(2013), 장은영(2013)와 같이 생활습관과 스트레스가 피부 관리에 영향을 준다는 결과와 유사하다.

We introduced mathematical economic analysis model for understanding the fairness of charge from VoIP providers for interconnection of access network. In order to set up this model we made four assumptions predictable in the real world. Also we proposed two accounting method that is flat-rate-pricing and usage-based-pricing and tried to propose which method is more desirable to charge for interconnection on the basis of social welfare and activation of market competitiveness. The outcome of this study includes the reasonable accounting method for interconnection between telephone network and IP Phone network which is most effective to ensure the social welfare and market competitiveness

Due to the recent surge in natural disasters, with rising social concerns, investment on research & development (R&D) project in natural disaster mitigation area is continuously increasing. However, current R&D performance management system of natural disaster mitigation area does not properly reflect characteristics and social ripple effects of R&D projects. It is indicated that mainly due to the current performance index consists of easy-quantification factors and the performance evaluation system adopts simple aggregation method. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop new performance evaluation system considering characteristics and social ripple effects of natural disaster mitigation R&D projects. To this ends, this study derived 3-dimensional performance measurement index through literature review and natural disaster mitigation R&D projects analysis. Finally, based on the derived performance measurement index, this study suggested new and effective performance evaluation system for natural disaster mitigation R&D projects.

It is time to review the direction of R&D investment which is the source of change in knowledge information ages. The DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) is a efficient method by using the ratio of input and output elements. In this paper, we analyzed industry relationship and efficiency by DEA in order to analyze ripple effect of the regional industry technology development project. According to these results, we found the primary affected factor in performance of this project was human resource, and the turnover of participated company was not on the rise yet. On types of the project, we could find the efficiency quotient of critical technique development project was higher than of common technique development project because project period or budget scale infected to project performance. We expect the enhancement of technique developer, tenn and budget, and it is necessary the project results should lead performance such as sales force and employee growth.
