본 논문에서는 컨투어렛과 주성분분석기법을 이용한 융합기법에 의한 얼굴인식 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 우선적으로 컨투어렛변환에 의해 얼굴영상을 대역별, 방향성분별로 분해한 후, 주성분분석기법을 이용하여 방향성분별로 분할된 부영상에서 특징벡터를 각각 추출한다. 최종 단계에서는 각각의 대역별로 산출된 매칭도를 효과적으로 융합할 수 있는 융합기법을 이용하여 얼굴인식이 수행된다. 제안된 방법의 유용성을 보이기 위해 ORL 얼굴데이터베이스를 대상으로 실험하여 기존 방법인 PCA나 웨이블렛변환을 이용한 방법에 비해 향상된 결과를 보임을 확인한다.

인터넷의 급격한 발달로 인해 현재의 인터넷은 시멘틱웹 기반의 인터넷 환경으로 가고 있다. 인터넷 3D 가상환경 표준인 VRML 도 이러한 추세에 맞추어 X3D로 변모하고 있다. 이러한 환경의 변화에 따른 네비게이션 에이드도 필요해 졌다 본 논문에서는 토픽맵이 가지고 있는 구조적 특성을 이용하여 사용자가 인간사고와 유사한 과정을 통한 네비게이션 정보 습득과 풍부하고 연관된 지식을 습득할 수 있으며 투어코스를 결정하는데 도움을 주는 시스템을 제안한다 본 시스템은 가상환경구조를 기억하거나 시스템 조작을 위한 일상적인 문제점에서 벗어나 본래의 네비게이션 목적에 집중할 수 있도록 만들었다. 가상환경에서의 네비게이션을 통해 현실세계에 존재하는 장소를 사전방문 하거나 효과적인 투어계획을 만드는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

3D 가상환경 개발 초기 단계에서부터 효과적인 Navigation을 위해서 Navigation Aid에 대한 연구가 꾸준히 진행되어왔으나 환경 구조의 중요 지점만을 정리한 요약 형태의 정보를 제공하는 방법이 주를 이루고 있어서, Navigation 대상 환경에 익숙지 않은 사용자에게 환경구조를 이해하게 하는 인지적 부담을 주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 navigation을 위한 인지적 부담을 최소화할 수 있도록 토픽맵을 적용하여 투어코스를 자동생성 하는 시스템을 제안한다. 본 Navigation Aid 시스템은 가상환경 구조를 기억하거나 시스템 조작을 위한 일상적인 문제점에서 벗어나 본래의 목적에 집중할 수 있을 것이다. 가상환경에서의 Navigation 경험을 통해 현실세계에 존재하는 환경을 사전방문 하거나 효과적인 투어코스를 선정하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

콘투어 맷칭을 위한 1차 유사도와 2차 유사도가 제안되었다. 그것들은 최소자승법에 의한 것이다. 특히 2차 유사도는 콘투어의 불완전함 혹은 어파인 변환 혹은 이들 특성의 결합같은 왜곡된 변화에 양호한 신뢰도를 가지고 있다는 사실을 비행기 기종의 판별과 인식하는 실험을 통하여 증명하였다. 또한 맷칭 성능에 있어서 2차 유사도가 1차 유사도뿐만 아니라 기존의 맷칭기법들보다 우수함을 보였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of tourmaline Gemstone therapy on dysmenorrhea and painful menstruation in middle school female students. Method: This study employed a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data was collected from 15 subjects from September 1 to November 31, 2005. Tourmaline Gemstone therapy was provided once during a peak time of dysmenorrhea and painful menstruation. The instrument used were modified Moos's MDQ(Menstrual Distress Questionnaire) tool and VAS. Data was analyzed with the use SPSS. Result: There was a statistically significant difference in the dysmenorrhea(t=5.50, p=.000) and painful menstruation(t=6.49, p=.000) after the intervention with tourmaline gemstone therapy. Conclusion: Tourmaline Gemstone therapy using a Tourmaline Gemstone therapy has a positive effect on decreasing dysmenorrhea and painful menstruation.

Purpose: This study was carried out to investigate the effect of tourmaline gemstone therapy on relief of dysmenorrhea and menstrual pain of the female university students. Method: A quasi-experimental study was designed. Data were collected from 39 of the Korean female university students (Exp: 26, Cont: 13) from May, 2006 to December, 2006. The collected data were analysed through $x^2$, t-test and Mann-Whitney test. Result: Dysmenorrhea was significantly decreased in the experimental group over that of the control group (p=.001). In addition, menstrual pain was also significantly decreased in the experimental group over that of the control group (p=.000). Conclusion: It was proven that tourmaline gemstone therapy was effective for dysmenorrhea and menstrual pain.

This study is to develop a Geotourism program focused on Taean Haebyeongil course 5 (coastal walkway) and to introduce an explanation board to revitalize an effective Geotourism program of the Taeanhaean National Park. Generally Geotourism program is developed by analyzing topography, geology and cultural resources of the Taean Haebyeongil course 5. An explanation board, which is revitalizing an effective Geotourism program can be used when explaining each trekking courses and providing information about observable geological features to the visitors. This study suggested a new method of explaining geological features and cultural resources to visitors of the Taeanhaean National Park. Additionally, developing a new program of Taean Haebyeongil, is believed to provide a diversity of locational contents to visitors. Hopefully this new program will boost the tourism business of Taean Haebyeongil.
