Since a hybrid firewall filters packets at a network layer along with providing gateway functionalities at an application layer, it has a better performance than an If filtering firewall. In addition, it provides both the various kinds of access control mechanisms and transparent services to users. However, the security policies of a network layer are different from those of an application layer. Thus, the user interfaces for managing a hybrid firewalls in a consistent manner are needed. In this paper, we implement a graphical user interface to provide access control mechanisms and management facilities for a hybrid firewall such as log analysis, a real-time monitor for network traffics, and the statisics on traffics. And we also propose a new rule script language for specifying access control rules. By using the script language, users can generate the various forma of access control rules which are adapted by the existing firewalls.

This study develops an approach to assign numbers of facilities (rectangular shape) in a given plant and compares the test results by proposed approach with those by approaches in the literature. An improvement approach is proposed to minimize material handling cost given initial layout. Like popular heuristic approaches, the developed heuristic approach employs interchange routine to improve material handling cost in current layout. Horizontal interchange and vertical interchange procedures are applied to obtain better solution. Also, it is possible to rotate facility layout when the sizes of both facilities are same. However, the proposed approach generates good solutions without shape distortion. That means the shape of facilities remains rectangle in the final solution. In addition, the improve approach can find global optimal solution from local optimal solution by applying Tabu search technique. Based on 25 test problems in the literature, we obtained better solutions than other facility layout approaches in the literature when there are many facilities.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to provide evidence for the effectiveness of Sensory Integrative Intervention (SII) through a systematic review. Method : The systematic review was executed using MEDLINE/PubMed, PsycINFO, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, OTSeeker. The key words for search was "effects of sensory integration", "sensory integration therapy", and "sensory integration intervention". 11 studies were used for data analysis, and the level of evidence were level I, leve lII and level IV. The substances of review were subject (population), method (intervention type), effect of the intervention, outcome parameter, and outcome measurement. Results : 1. The subjects of SII were autism spectrum disorders (30.7%), pervasive developmental disorder (15.4%) and preterm infants (15.4%). 2. Most frequently used method was the traditional intervention of J. Ayres (36.5%). The outcome parameters of SII were behavioral outcome (40.63%), motor performance outcome (28.13%), sensory-based outcome (25.0%), and academic outcome (6.35%). 3. The effects of SII were improvement of motor performance (66.7%), sensory-based (62.5%), and behavior problems (61.5%). In most studies, however, academic skill such as writing skill was not a positive outcome parameter in terms of effectiveness of SII. Conclusions : The results implied that the sensory integrative intervention is effective on motor performance, sensory-based and behavioral change, but not on the academic skill. It is suggested that the future research need to be done to examine whether and how the effect of sensory integration intervention can be long-lasting and contribute any academic skill and activities of daily living performance.

The City Complex Development and TOD originated from the Compact City are entrenched domestically. Also, Transit-Oriented Development is drawing attention as sustainability because it has effects of Environment as Green growth. However, An empirical Study is insufficient about Influence Factors of Transit Oriented Development. Therefore This study sets up the Density spaced 1000m apart of Transit Oriented than the existing and did 7 Types considered of Accessibility, Complexity and Design Element according to the Factorial analysis. As a result, this study drew that (1) 'intraregional accessibility of public transit', (2) 'degree of development', 'pedestrian-friendly facility', (3) 'interzonal accessibility of public transit', (4) 'land-use of the city centre', 'complex using of rail station area', 'complementary public transit' are related 201 in number of the Subway stations according to the Multi-dimensional scaling.

With the advent of distributed computing and Web service technologies, lots of users have been requiring services that can conveniently obtain and/or support well-assembled information based on Web. For this reason, we are to construct Automatic Linking Support Systems for generating Web-based integrated information and supporting retrieval information according to user's various requirements. Our system organization is based on client/server system. A server environment consisted of automatic linking engine that can provide lexical analyzing, query processing and integrated document generating functions, and databases that are made of dictionaries, image and URL contents. Also, client environments consisted of Web editor that can generate integrated documents and Web helper that can retrieve them via automatic linking engine and databases. For client's user-friendly interfaces, web editor and helper programs can directly execute by down leading from a server without setup them before inside clients. For reducing server's overheads, Parts of server's executing modules are distributed to clients on which they can be executing. As an implementation of our system, we use the JDK 1.3, SWING for user interfaces like Web editor and helper, RMI mechanism for interaction between clients and a server, and SQL server 7.0 for database development, respectively. Finally, we showed the access procedures of automatic document linking engine and databases from Web editor or Web helper, and results appearing on their screens.

To fully utilize the capabilities of a SONET/ADM network, traffic grooming is needed to multiplex a number of lower-rate traffic streams into a higher-rate stream, and vice versa. Although the capacity of a SONET ring network can be upgraded by operating it over multiple wavelengths, the corresponding network design may be costly if it employs a large number of ADMs. A cost-effective design attempts to minimize the total number of ADMs used in the network while carrying the offered traffic. We introduce and evaluate the performance characteristics of a new traffic-grooming approach for WDM ring networks, called multihop. The multihop implementation places an ADM at each node based on the requested traffic in the traffic-demand matrix then, it tries to groom the wavelengths which can be groomed. We select one of the nodes to be the "hub" node which has an ADM for each wavelength. The hub node, therefore, can "bridge" traffic between all of the wavelengths. The algorithm is specified and illustrated by a simple example. Our results demonstrate that it is beneficial to use a single-hop approach, but for a large grooming ratio and node number, we advocate the use of the multihop approach.e multihop approach.

Recently, the knowledge and use of information production and service in integrated information has been changing from intra-organizational to inter-organizational and even international. In particular, since natural disasters are complexly related, it is increasingly important to use integrated information from related areas in the reduction and prevention of such events. In this study, we suggest strategies for the use of integrated information from natural disasters based on that expanding need. This study analyzes information user surveys, the interrelated information technologies, trends, and case studies to determine user access to the information, the status of the information used, and the supply and distribution of that information. From the survey results, we can draw conclusions about the effectiveness of the strategies of integrated information used in domestic natural disaster information.

Integrated disaster management system in Korea is recently concerned due to incompletion and inadequacy in establishment of the system. In this regards, this study aims to examine improvement of the domestic integrated disaster management system considering sustainability and resilience concept, which are recently considered in disaster and safety management. To do this, the authors examined the integrated disaster management system with representative principles to enhance sustainability and resilience in community based on diversity and redundancy, connectivity, slow variable, systematic approach, learning and feedback, and active participation. It is believed that the improvements and recommendations proposed by sustainability and resilience principles in this study can contribute to establishment of strategies, policies, and R&D for enhancing domestic integrated disaster management and sustainability and resilience in community.

As integrated essay writing is performed in university entrance examinations, teachers and students recognize the importance of integrated essay, but teachers have still difficulties of teaching methods. The purpose of this study is to derive educational implications through case of mathematics instruction for integrated essay education to pre-service mathematics teachers. The content knowledge of this class is a definition of conic section in mathematics and properties of conic section in an antenna reflector. The students have to discover them using the history of math, manipulative material, paper-folding and computer simulation. In this teaching and learning process the students can realize mathematical knowledge invented by humans through history of mathematics. The students can evaluate the validity of that as create and justify a mathematical proposition. Also, the students can explain the relation between them logically and descript cause or basis convincingly in the process of justifying. We should keep our study to instructional materials and teaching methods in integrated essay education.

The Aircraft Development Department operated a Technical Document Management System that was effectively managed using a database management system for the management of the technical information created by a research and development phase of an aircraft and managed a technical information of a research and development varied by the project on a lot of the aircraft development program. While managing the user management and technical information project, it caused some problems on the workflow of the Work Memo and a search of some technical information, etc. As result, we developed the web-based Integrated Technical Information System(ITIS) which be able to totally manage the Technical Document Management System varied by program. According to the construction and operation of this system, we can access by program using user account and privilege and dramatically increased the productivity of a research and development because of performing the workflow of the Work Memo and some search of technical information by the integrated screen of the ITIS.
