Developing a Competence Model for Salespeople in a Small-medium Size IT Firm N (중소IT기업 N사 영업사원의 핵심역량모델 개발)

  • Hatching and developing great human resource is getting important in these competitive business environments. It is important to define and utilize personalized competence model for individual firm before hatching and developing its HR. Competence is a unique set of behavior shown as a result of sum of knowledge, skill, value and other personal traits in his/her working environment and the systematic process finding and defining the competence is called competence modeling. The purpose of this study was to perform competence modeling for a small-medium size IT firm N especially for its salespeople and offer suggestions of the usage of the result. Competence model was developed by 'Covering general model' suggested by Dubois. To confirm the validity, survey and workshop was conducted and the model was finalized based on the results. As a result, total 14 core competencies were found and defined by the core salesperson of the firm N. Also the competencies were categorized into three based on the timing of the usage. Additionally, this study offers the ways to utilize the result as foundation for competence based HR system and HRD program for firm N.

A Study on Mediating Effect of International Marketing Activity between R&D and Network Capabilities and Performance of Korean INNOBIZs (기술개발·네트워크 역량과 경영성과간 관계에서 국제마케팅 활동의 매개적 역할에 관한 연구)

  • This study researched relationship between R&D capability(TC), Network capability(NC), International marketing activity(IMA) and effect to performance of Korean globalizing INNOBIZs. In former research, they found out that TC, NC, IMA effect to performance directly. But they didn't focus on the relationship between the variables and Korean INNOBIZs. Recently, Global environment of competition is getting more and more complicated. So even the companies develop the excellent product, the companies can not get superior performance than competitor as long as the company combine with IMA or NC. In this study, empirical analysis performed using covariance structural analysis for Korean INNOBIZs. As we know in former research, TC and IMA have a positive effect on performance directly. But NC does not have a direct effect on performance. Also we found out TC and NC intermediated by MC have positive effect on performance. This result is theoretically and practically suggestive that using the company developed NC in International IMA effect on Performance.

  • 고부가 서비스용 수용가 통합자원관리 시스템에 관련된 국내외 표준에 대해 조사하였다. 국가 표준은 KSC 부문이 있고, 국제 표준은 주로 IEC가 제정한 것이다. 그밖에 여러 국제 표준화 기구가 있지만 고부가 서비스용 수용가 통합자원관리 시스템 개발에 적용될 수 있는 국제 표준을 찾을 수는 없었다. 그래서 고부가 서비스용 수용가 통합자원관리 시스템을 개발하는 과정에서 필요하다고 생각되는 표준이 국내외 표준으로 제안되는 것이 좋겠다. 제안되는 표준안이 국내외에서 표준으로 채택된다면 다양한 기술 개발안이 연구되며 경쟁함으로써 빚어지는 연구역량의 낭비를 줄이고, 기술의 진보 방향을 우리나라에서 주도함으로써 미래 기술 영역을 선점하는 효과를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

Practitioners' Experience at the Community Addiction Management Centers on intervening Alcoholic-batterers (음주가정폭력행위자에 개입하는 중독관리통합지원센터 실무자의 실천경험)

  • This study targets on overall understanding about practitioners' experience at the community addiction management centers on intervening alcoholic-batterers. This research is a qualitative case study based on data that are collected from fifteen practitioners' interview experiences of both focus group and individual and data from supervising, advising, and workshop attending. As a result, the research shows that 'Overwhelmed to deal with alcoholic-batterers', 'Strengthening ability through pre-performances', 'Making an effort continuously to solve problems' and 'Unwillingness changes by intervening alcoholic-batterers' on upper categories of practitioners' experiences. Under alternative solutions and practical categories, it shows that 'Gaps between the needs and the reality' and 'Concrete needs to achieve competence'. To provide effective strategies, the study suggests practical and political implications that are reflected specific environments of the community addiction management centers.

The Impacts of CEOs' Entrepreneurial Orientation and Network Capability on Firm Performance (최고경영자의 기업가적 지향성과 네트워크 역량이 조직성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The value of social network and entrepreneurial orientation has widely been acknowledged as a critical resource of business success. However, the previous studies did not specify each role and conceptually have examined them as separate antecedents of firm performance. This study develops propositions concerning network capabilities and investigates the moderating effects of network structures (degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweenness centrality) on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and firm performance. This research conducted with a sample of 115 small consulting companies in Korea. The findings indicate that closeness centrality moderates the relationship between proactiveness and performance. Also, the combination of betweenness centrality and proactiveness exerts a positive impact on performance. Accordingly, degree centrality enhances the influence of innovativeness on performance. In particular, betweenness centrality exacerbates the influence of risk-taking on performance against our expectation. Overall, these findings conclude the synergistic effects of network capability and entrepreneurial orientation on firm performance. Finally, practical implications and academic propositions are presented regarding the way firms could most effectively utilize entrepreneurial orientation and network capability to maximize firm performance.

Effect of Customer Experience Management Capability on Job Satisfaction and Customer Orientation of Service Firms : Focus on the Bank Service (서비스기업의 고객경험관리역량이 직무만족 및 고객지향성에 미치는 영향 : 은행서비스를 중심으로)

  • This study examines the effect of customer experience management capability of a bank and job satisfaction and customer orientation of the frontline employee in bank. The proposed research model and developed hypotheses were tested using structural equations modeling based on data collected from 321 employees working in banks. The results of the study confirm the positive effects of employee training, employee empowerment, employee evaluation, cross functional work of customer experience management capability is job satisfaction and customer orientation. But channel integration is not supported job satisfaction and customer orientation. Performance management influenced customer orientation through job satisfaction. The study provides On a theoretical level valuable insights into the customer experience management competency at the organizational unit and but there is also a limitation that firms the is limited.

A Convergence Study on Self-management Competency and Employment Preparation Behavior of Senior Nursing Students : Mediating effect of Academic Self-efficacy (졸업학년 간호대학생의 자기관리역량과 취업준비행동에 대한 융합연구 : 학업적 자기효능감의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of academic self-efficacy in the relationship between self-management competency and employment preparation behavior of senior nursing students. The data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 program, frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. As a result of the study, self-management competency was positively correlated with academic self-efficacy, employment preparation behavior, and academic self-efficacy with employment preparation behavior. Academic self-efficacy showed a partial mediating effect between self-management competency and employment preparation behavior. The higher the level of self-management competency and academic self-efficacy, the higher the level of employment preparation behavior, and the explanatory power (R2) was 34%. Therefore, it suggests that it is important to develop self-management competency and to prepare an integrated strategy that can induce a sense of academic self-efficacy in order to promote the employment preparation behavior of nursing students.

Associated Analysis of FTA Information Learning in Export of SMEs (중소기업 수출에서 FTA 정보학습 연관분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of FTA information learning in export SMEs. Therefore, this study has constructed an integrated model including the moderating effects of FTA information learning on the of export performance in SME. The relationship between SMEs' localization strategy, product innovation capacity, and FTA information learning was linked to export performance, and an empirical analysis was conducted on 195 export SMEs. The path analysis was performed using the structural equation model(SEM), and six hypotheses including the control effect were tested. As a result, the localization strategy of SMEs positively influenced product innovation capacity. On the other hand, FTA information learning did not show significant results. Product innovation capacity and FTA information learning as an antecedents showed significant results in terms of export performance. In the moderated effects analysis, the moderated effect between the localization strategy and FTA information learning did not show significant effect on the product innovation capacity. Whereas the moderated effect between the product innovation capacity and the FTA information learning significant influence on the export performance of SMEs.

  • 21세기 '신경제' 시스템에서 흔히 지식은 '미래 경제의 석유'로 비유된다. 그만큼 경제를 추진하는 역량이 크다는 말이다. 대체로 데이터가 수치화된 자료, 즉 조각난 정보라면 그것이 모인것이 '정보', 이후 쓰임새를 갖춘 통합된 정보가 '지식'으로 분류된다. 그런데 이 지식을 창출하고 저장하는 방식은 컴퓨터ㆍ위성ㆍ휴대전화ㆍ인터넷, 기타 디지털 기술의 확산으로 급격하게 변하고 있다. 또 아울러 지식이 쇠퇴하는 속도도 빨라져서 엘빈 토플러의 용어대로 수많은 지식들이 금방 '무용지식(obsoledge)'으로 전락하고 만다.
