A sudy on the Out-of-band Noise Power for PCS Unified Repeater (PCS 통합중계기의 대역외 잡음에 관한 연구)

  • The increase in the number of PCS base station and repeater has increased the level of interference between PCS carriers. In this paper, interference of singular PCS repeater out-of-band noise power on mobile phone is analysed and compared with that of unified PCS repeater for multiple PCS carriers. It is shown that unified PCS repeater provide about 2∼3dB signal gain in comparison with conventional PCS repeater. As a result, the interference of out-of-band noise power on mobile phone is reduced. It is expected that PCS carriers are able to build an environmentally-friendly communications infrastructure and reduce the cost by using unified PCS revealer and apply it for the deployment of IMT-2000 network.

  • e-Navigation requires shipboard integrated information system to manage several kinds of data on shipboard. IEC 61162-450 may be adopted for the development of such system. Based on IEC 61162-450, this paper proposes an architecture of shipboard integrated information system, and describes a developed system. The system is composed of NMEA 2000 gateway, wireless sensor gateway, database, monitoring applications. This paper also shows the feasibility of the system through some tests.

  • To realize futuristic services with agility, the role of the experimental facility (i.e., testbed) based on integrated resources has become important, so that developers can flexibly utilize the dynamic provisioning power of software-defined networking and cloud computing. Following this trend, an OpenFlow-based SDN testbed environment, denoted as OF@TEIN, connects multiple sites with unique SmartX Racks (i.e., virtualization-enabled converged resources). In this paper, in order to automate the multi-point L2 (i.e., Ethernet) inter-connection of OpenFlow islands, we introduce an automated tool to configure the required Network Virtualization using Generic Routing Encapsulation (NVGRE) tunneling. With the proposed automation tool, the operators can efficiently and quickly manage network inter-connections among multiple OpenFlow sites, while letting developers to control their own traffic flows for service realization experiments.

  • Software Test Bench should be simulated with maximum quality to real execution environment in order to verify the performance of software which is changed or newly developed. And especially faults detection and recovery are crucial function of the performance test environment. Simulated Software Test Bench based on processor emulator is attractive and can be available prior to hardware Software Test Bench if real time performance aspect is ignored. In this paper, the results of conceptual study for developing the simulated Software Test Bench are presented.

  • 본 논문에서는 2004년 12월 발사 예정인 다목적실용위성 2호의 탑재소프트웨어의 구성과 전반적인 개발 과정 및 개발 환경에 관련된 내용을 서술한다. 다목적실용위성 2호 탑재소프트웨어 개발은 다목적실용 위성 1호 탑재소프트웨어를 근간으로 2호기 요구사양에 따라 요구사양 분석, 설계. 코딩 및 단위 테스트, 통합 테스트와 검증 시험 등을 거쳐 진행되었으며 일련의 모든 개발과정은 국내 연구진에 의해 수행되었다.

  • The operational flight program(OFP) which has the functions of I/O processing with avionics, flight control logic calculation, fault diagnosis and redundancy mode is embedded in the flight control computer of Smart UAV. The OFP was developed in the environment of PowerPC 755 processor and VxWorks 5.5 real-time operating system. The OFP consists of memory access module, device I/O signal processing module and flight control logic module, and each module was designed to hierarchical structure. Memory access and signal processing modules were verified from bench test, and flight control logic module was verified from hardware-in-the-loop simulation(HILS) test, ground integration test, tethered test and flight test. This paper describes development environment, software structure, verification and management method of the OFP.

  • Existing environmental measuring devices mainly focus on electromagnetic wave and eco-friendly product certification and durability test, and sensor reliability verification and verification of measurement data are conducted mainly through sensor performance evaluation through type approval and registration, acceptance test, initial calibration, and periodic test. This platform has established an ICT-based environmental monitoring sensor reliability verification system that supports not only performance evaluation for each target sensor, but also a verification system for sensor data reliability. A sensor board to collect sensor data for environmental information was produced, and a sensor and data reliability evaluation and verification service system was standardized. In addition, to evaluate and verify the reliability of sensor data based on ICT, a sensor data platform monitoring prototype using LoRa communication was produced, and the test was conducted in smart cities. To analyze the data received through the system, an optimization algorithm was developed using machine learning. Through this, a sensor big data analysis system is established for reliability verification, and the foundation for an integrated evaluation and verification system is provide.

  • Data acquired about 53 gigabyte per a naval vessel is massive, expensive and impossible to be retested in a underwater acoustic measurement. So, it is required to manage systematically. In this paper, we mention MUADS (Massive Underwater Acoustic Database System) that was developed to store a long time, manage systematically and supply raw data and analyzed data. we analyze client/server performance based on 6003 input data individually in our MUADS that Unix server having a massive DC-jukebox and Windows clients.

  • The robot performs with combined various functional equipments organically. OPRoS (Open Platform for Robotic Services) is a framework to provide integrated development environment to develop an equipment in the form of the component parts to various institutions and developers and to combine them. To ensure the reliable operation of the robot, the developer should test the component can be coupled reliably with other components developed by other developers. First of all, that the search to find components to be coupled with the component meaningfully is necessary. In this paper, we propose the interoperability evaluation system which can find components to be meaningfully coupled with the component to be evaluated.

  • 본 논문에서는 전력IT 국책과제로 선정된 한국형 에너지 관리시스템(Korean Energy Management System, K-EMS)의 네트워크 해석 프로그램 중 하나인 급전원 조류계산(Dispatcher Power Flow, DPF) 프로그램의 구축 및 통합에 대해서 다룬다. 여기에서는 조류계산의 기본기능 보다는 실시간 운영을 위한 DB, 프로세스, 화면 간 연계방법을 설명하고, 기존 Off-line 검토용 조류계산 프로그램과의 차이점 및 급전원 조류계산 환경에 대해 서술한다. 본 논문에 소개된 급전원 조류계산 프로그램은 K-EMS의 중간 결과물인 Baseline 단계의 성과이며, 국내 실계통 데이터를 취득하여 성공적으로 실증시험을 마친 결과임을 밝혀둔다.
