Web novels are one of the most actively adapted genre novels under a new medium called the Internet. Research on cultural content implemented on top of digital media is naturally closely related to environmental changes in digital media. The same goes for Web novels sparked by the identity of Web platforms. Especially in the case of web novels, the platform itself that provides them has triggered direct changes in genre code and reading patterns. From this perspective, this thesis wanted to examine the formation process and strategic features of web novels, which became content and products on the web platform environment. First of all, through the formation process ranging from communication novels to Internet novels and web novels, I arranged the transition to digital media and the change of genre novel market. This was an attempt to extract that Web novels not only have continuity as genre novels, but also have a turning point as digital content. Web novels are digital content that internalizes the values of the Web 2.0 era. It should also be a core product that grows the pie in the market in its own right. This paper noted that web novels are content that embodies these consumption values. So this thesis considered about what is the visualization and commercialization strategy of the web-based novels that is currently formed, and what is the current status of the web-based romance novels as the content and the product that is driving OSMU most actively in the process of commercialization. Through this process, I found that the greatest characteristic of web novels as genre novels that have evolved into digital content is their division and crack of genre.

순수문학부터 대중문학 장르까지 아우르고 있는 환상소설은 90년대 리얼리즘 급격한 퇴조, 통신세대의 등장과 맞물려 독자적인 영역으로 자리잡아가고 있다. 90년대 중후반 관심이 늘기 시작한 환상소설 출간은 영화.만화 등으로 연결, 출판계 지형을 바꿀 만큼 잠재력이 클 것으로 전망한다.

The main characters play leading roles in novels. In the previous studies, they recognize the main characters in a novel mainly based on dictionaries that built beforehand. In English, names begin with upper cases and are used with some words. In this paper, we propose a recognition method for main characters name in Korean novels by using predicates, rules and weights. We first recognize candidates for the characters name by predicates and propose some rules to exclude candidates that cannot be characters. We assign importances for candidates, considering weights that given by the number of candidates appeared in a sentence. Finally, if the importance of the character is more than a threshold, we decide that the character is one of main characters. The results from the experiments for 300 novels show that an average accuracy is 85.97%. The main characters name may be used to grasp relationships among characters, character's action and tendency.

Web novels that are consumed on mobile devices are characterized by capturing one aspect of our society. The purpose of this study was to collect the keywords from web novels, to identify trends of web novels, and further to analyze the covert needs and characteristics of readers in connection with the existing researches. As a result of the analysis, novels with modern backgrounds and adult novels were popular in relation to easily readable and accessible mobile environment. Male characters tend to be ideally depicted in web novels. In contrast, characters with inner scars were popular among female characters. Although this study did not conduct an in-depth analysis of adult novels due to the limitation of web crawling, it is meaningful that this study analyzed modern people's inner needs and characteristics using the para-text like keywords in existing web novel studies that previously lacked quantitative analysis.

기계, 전기, 전자, 재료, 전산공학 등은 근래에 이르러 혁명적인 발전을 거듭하고 있으며, 이에 따라 새로운 개념의 기기들이 등장하고, 토목계측분야에서도 새로운 방식 및 기기들이 등장하고 있다. 특히 최근의 Smart Material, MEM (Micro-Electro-Machine), Nano- Technology 및 통신기술들은 과거의 공상과학소설에서나 가능하였던 내용들을 실제로 가능케 하였으며, 일부 기술들은 경제성까지 갖춰 상용화되고 있다. 본 고에서는 지반공학적 관점에서 본 이러한 신기술과, 이를 이용한 지반구조물의 정보화에 대하여 살펴보았다.

새로운 정보나 기술 확산에 대한 연구가 소설네트워크의 발전과 함께 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 정보와 기술 확산에는정보/기술의 품질과 함께 얼마나 많은 사람이 정보/기술을 선택했는지도 중요한 영향을 미친다. 동일한 정보/기술을 선택한 사람들 수를 network exteranlity라고 한다. 일반적으로 사람들이 의사결정을 할때에는 본인의 가족,친구등에 의해 많은 영향을 받기 때문에 사회적 관계도 또한 network externality는 단순히 동일한 선택을 한 사람수가 아닌 사회적인 관계가 있은 사람들 안에서 얼마나 많은 사람들이 동일한 선택을 하는지가 중요하게 된다. 이러한 사회적 관계는 그래프로 나타낼 수 있다. 사회적 관계에 의한 영향들은 사람과 사람들간의 local interaction에 의해 결정된다. 본 고에서는 network 상에서 정보/기술이 확산 연구의 전반적인 주제들을 network externality 관점에서 살펴보고, 현재 활발하게 진행중인 연구 주제들을 알아본다.

스마트 전시안내는 박물관이나 전시관에서 도슨트나 큐레이터가 할 수 있는 역할과 기능을 스마트 전시공간 조성과 스마트 디바이스 및 웹/앱을 활용해서 관람객에게 제공하는 것이다. 스마트 전시안내에서는 관람객 개인마다의 에피소드가 만들어 질 수가 있고, 물리적인 전시물이 주고자 하는 내러티브를 관람객의 눈높이에 맞추어 재구성해 나갈 수 있도록 도움을 주며, 실제 전시공간을 정보적으로 확장한 가상세계에서 관람객과 전시물, 관람객과 관람객, 관람객과 소설네트워크 간의 공유관계를 형성할 수 있다. 본고에서는 스마트 전시안내 서비스 연구사례로서 대전 천연기념물센터에서 서비스 중인 '메타버스 기반 스마트 전시안내 시스템'을 분석하고 ICT 융합의 범위와 한계를 이해함으로써 박물관 전시관이 다시 찾고 싶은 문화체험 공간으로 나아갈 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

단행본, 소설, 잡지, 만화 등 다양한 형태의 전자출판물에 공통적으로 적용 가능한 표현 기술과 콘텐츠 유통을 위한 패키징 기술로 구성된 표준인EPUB3가 국제표준기구인 ISO/IEC에서 국제표준으로 채택됨에 따라 시장 표준이 공적 표준으로 통합되는 현상이 전자출판 분야에서도 뚜렷이 나타나고 있다. 본고에서는 전자출판 표준인 EPUB3을 교과서 등 교육용 교재, 참고서, 학습서 등 교육 분야에 확대 적용하기 위하여 온라인 평가 서비스, 학습용 소프트웨어 연계, 교육용 메타데이터 활용 등 이질적인 기술 들 간의 융합이 어떻게 이루어져야 하는지에 대한 방향을 제시한다. 이러한 노력은 지난 2013년부터 국제 표준화 단체인 IDPF(International Digital Publishing Forum), IMS Global Learning Consortium, World Wide Web Consortium이 구성한 EDUPUB Alliance를 통해 구체화되고 있다. 따라서 향후 어떠한 구체적인 주제의 논의가 국내에서도 필요한지 알아본다. 또한 디지털 교과서와 학습 교재는 모바일 및 온라인 학습환경에서 다양하게 활용될 수 있으며, 학습자가 생성하는 학습 데이터를 체계적으로 수집하고 분석한다면 학습결과를 향상시키는데 큰 기여를 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

In the recent times, a personalized travel path recommendation based on both travelogues and community contributed photos and the heterogeneous meta-data (tags, geographical locations, and date taken) which are associated with photos have been studied. The travellers using social media leave their location history, in the form of paths. These paths can be bridged for acquiring information, required, for future recommendation, for the future travellers, who are new to that location, providing all sort of information. In this paper, we propose a personalized travel path recommendation scheme, based on social life log. By taking advantage, of two kinds of social media, such as travelogue and community contributed photos, the proposed scheme, can not only be personalized to user's travel interest, but also be able to recommend, a travel path rather than individual Points of Interest (POIs). The proposed personalized travel route recommendation method consists of two steps, which are: pruning POI pruning step and creating travel path step. In the POI pruning step, candidate paths are created by the POI derived. In the creating travel path step, the proposed scheme creates the paths considering the user's interest, cost, time, season of the topic for more meaningful recommendation.
