본 논문에서는 음성 중심의 통신이 아닌 데이터 중심의 통신을 위한 네트워크인 PSTN/IP 통합망의 기본 호처리 프로세스를 객체 지향 관점에서 모델링을 하였다. 데이터 통신의 빠른 증가를 충족 시키기 위해, 기존의 하드웨어로 구성된 교환기를 범용 컴퓨터를 이용해 구현하고자 하는 PSTN/IP 통합망의 개발은 하드웨어 관점의 모델링이 아닌 소프트웨어 관점의 모델링을 기반으로 구축되어야 한다. 이를 위해 기존의 하드웨어 교환기 모델링에서 사용되던 State Model을 객체 지향 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 모델링의 표준인 UML(Unified Modeling Language) 표기법을 이용해 재모델링하였다.

Recently the tendency of the network system development rapidly progresses toward ISDN that intergrates all presetn-day communication networks and services into a single, universal network set up on the basis of the exisiting telephone network. For this reason many countries pay worldwide attention to the researches about ISDN, especially to the researches about the exchange and the ISDN user-network interface which is one of the most important parts of network system. This paper is the first part of the two-par papers describing the ISDN user-network interface. in this paper, after surveying the architecture of ISDN exchange recommended by CCITT, the general architecture of the ISDN exchage is proposed, Based on this architecture, the switching emulator is implemented, and the necessary conditions of the ISDN exchage(LAPO, CCP etc) are also studied.

A multicast switch, which can provide a single uniform switching function for vastly different classes of traffic, is crucial for the successful deployment of intergrated broadband networks. In this paper, we study the call blocking probability of heterogeneous circuit emulated traffic in a multicast switch. A previous work on the analysis of homogeneous traffic, where all calls have the same fan-out, show the performance showed that the call blocking probability increases rapidly as fan out increases. We study the performance of heterogeneous traffic, which consists of calls of different fan out, and show the performance gaps between larger fan-out traffic and smaller fan-out traffic are larger than those of homogeneous traffic these results indicate the necessity of efficient resource allocation policies to improve the performance of multicast calls. We conclude the paper introducing several methods to improve the performance of multicast traffic.

There are many implementation methods according to models integrating TMN Agent into an ATM switch. In this paper, we evaluate the integrating models for integrating the Agent into an ATM switch in the aspects of the size of MIB(Management Information Base), the internal protocol profiles and the facility of implementation. Based on the evaluation, we choose an integrating model and implment the Agent. To ensure merit of the model, we propose an interface for exchanging management information between the Agent and an ATM switch. We also show the feasibility of our Agent system through some filed testes for the average processing time.

In this paper we proposed and implemented a diagnosis system to control nuclear fuel handling machine. The proposed system consists of data acquisition system, diagnosis algorithm and faults simulator. Since the test on real operation of the fuel handling machine is impossible, we evaluated the proposed system by diagnosis experiments using the faults simulator, with which test signals on abnormal states of the bearing ball and the inner race of the bearing are generated. The experiments showed that resulting diagnosis analysis are consistent with the theoretical expectations.

본 연구는 발포수지 공정에 사용되는 가스벤트를 신발중창 금형에 자동으로 교환하는 장치에 관한 것이다. 가스벤트는 폴리우레탄과 같은 소재를 이용한 신발 미드솔 발포시 발생되는 가스를 제거하기 위한 다공질 소자로서 신발금형 상부에 삽입된다. 가스벤트는 소모성 부품으로 일정주기마다 교환이 필요하나 작업공정상 수작업에 어려움이 많아 자동화된 교환시스템이 요구된다. 하지만 삽입되는 신발중창 금형과 가스벤트간은 유격이 거의 없으므로 본 연구에서는 신발 중창 금형의 손상을 방지하고 보다 신속한 교환을 위해 가스벤트 삽입 및 추출 홈의 위치정보를 영상을 통해서 구하고, 얻어진 영상에 대한 위치 데이터를 기계적 위치 추적 시스템의 데이터로 피드백 하여 홀의 중심 위치에서 가스벤트를 삽입 및 추출하여 자동으로 교환하는 장치를 구현하였다. 영상 처리는 패턴 매칭 기법을 이용하여 홀의 중심점을 구하였고, 이를 PLC로 전송하여 기계 작동 제어 및 XY플로터를 정밀 제어하여 공정이 진행되게 하였다.

The office data for telecommunication switching systems included system configuration data, processing data, maintenance and administration data on a very large scale. Those data are dependent on functions of the system and the place of system installation. The effect of errors of office data is very serious. In order to reduce time and effort on the system development phase and to enhance system reliability, in this paper we proposed a data analysis and design method for automatically generating office data that are dependent on installation capability and system configuration of the swiching office.
