구조방정식모델(Structural Equation Modeling: SEM)은 변수들 간의 인관관계 및 상관관계를 검증하기 위한 통계기법으로 사회학 및 심리학 분야에서 개발되었지만 현재는 경영학, 광고학, 교육학, 생물학, 체육학, 의학, 정치학 등 여러 학문분야에서 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. Amos는 기본적으로 그래픽(Amos graphics)과 베이직(Amos basic)을 제공하기 때문에 정확한 프로그램의 작성이나 행렬에 대한 지식이 없는 초보자들도 아이콘을 이용하여 복잡한 연구모델이나 다중집단분석모델을 분석할 수 있다. PLS(Partial Least Square)는 모형 추정과정에서 발생하는 잔차 또는 예측오차를 최소화하여 예측력을 극대화하기 위한 프로그램이며, 즉, PLS-SEM는 표본 수가 적고 자료가 정규분포를 보이지 않거나 조형지표 모델이거나 복잡한 연구모델 분석에 유용하다. 최근 빅데이터의 열풍으로 자료들을 분석을 위한 도구로 R이 실무 현장에서 인기를 끌고 있다. R은 통계 프로그래밍 언어이자 오픈 소프트웨어 환경으로 통계, 그래픽, 데이터마이닝 등의 다양하고 방대한 양의 패키지들을 지원한다. R에서 제공되는 패키지들이 오픈 소스이고 선형 및 비선형 모델링, 고전적인 통계분석, 시 계열 분석, 분류 및 군집분석 등의 다양한 통계 패키지들을 제공한다는 측면에서 R은 실무는 물론 학문적인 측면에서도, 특히 통계를 기반으로 실증분석을 수행하는 사회과학연구들에서 중요한 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

우리나라 초$\cdot$중$\cdot$고등학교 확률 및 통계영역 교육은 1997년 교육인적자원부 교시로 제 7차 수학과 교육과정이 개정되어 현재 초$\cdot$중$\cdot$고등학교 현장에서 시행되고 있다. 교과서 전수 조사를 통하여 제 7차 수학과 교육과정에 따른 실용수학 및 수학 I 확률 및 통계단원을 분석하였다.

본 연구는 한국 통계청이 수행하는 가계동향조사와 생활시간조사에서 자료처리 과정 및 방법을 혁신하려는 시도로, 기존의 통계 생산 방법론의 한계를 극복하고, 대규모 데이터의 효과적인 관리와 분석을 가능하게 하는 인공지능 기반의 통계 생산을 목표로 한다. 본 연구는 데이터 과학과 통계학의 교차점에서 진행되며, 인공지능 기술, 특히 자연어 처리와 딥러닝을 활용하여 비정형 텍스트 분류 방법의 성능을 검증하며, 인공지능 기반 통계분류 방법론의 확장성과 추가적인 조사 확대 적용의 가능성을 탐구한다. 이 연구의 결과는 통계 데이터의 품질 향상과 신뢰성 증가에 기여하며, 국민의 생활 패턴과 행동에 대한 더 깊고 정확한 이해를 제공한다.

The proliferating use of e-journals has led increasing interest in collecting and analyzing usage statistic information. However, the existing manual method and simple journal usage reports provided by publishers hinder the effective collection of large-scale usage statistics and the comprehensive/in-depth analysis on them. Thus we have proposed a hybrid automatic method of collecting e-journal usage statistics based on screen scraping and SUSHI protocol. In addition, the generation method of summary statistics presented in graphs, charts and tables has been suggested in this study. By utilizing the suggested system and analysis data, librarians can compose various reports on budget or operation of the libraries.

계속 반복하여 실시되는 통계조사에서 조사원은 오차를 발생시키는 주요 요인으로 간주되고 있다 조사원에 의한 오차를 측정하는 방법으로서 조사표 형태별로 조사원, 집락 및 가구 등 변수에 따라 할당하고 선계방법에 따른 추정 값에 대한 효과 및 효과의 분산을 산출하는 모델을 제시한다. 또한 실제 조사모델로부터 품질관리표본을 추출하여 이를 대상으로 리인터뷰를 실시한 결과를 조사원의 인구통계학적 특성별로 분석하고 불일치지수 등을 산출함으로써 오차를 분석하는 방법을 제시한다.

A large suite of official statistical data sets has been compiled for geographical units under the national directives, and it is the quantitative regional analysis procedures that could add values to them. This paper reports our attempts at prototyping a statistical GIS which is capable of serving over the Web a variety of regional analysis routines as well as value-added statistics and maps. A pilot database of some major statistical data was ingested for the city of Seoul. The baseline subset of regional analysis methods of practical usage was selected and accommodated into the business logic of the target system, which ranges from descriptive statistics, regional structure/inequality measures, spatial ANOVA, spatial (auto) correlation to regression and residual analysis. The leading-edge information technologies including the application server were adopted in the system design and implementation so that the database, analysis modules and analytic mapping components may cooperate seamlessly behind the Web front-end. The prototyped system supports tables, maps, and files of downloadable format for input and output of the analyses. One of the most salient features of out proposed system is that both the database and analysis modules are extensible via the bi-directional interface for end users; The system provides users with operators and parsers for algebraic formulae such that the stored statistical variables may be transformed and combined into the newly-derived set of variables. This functionality eventually leads to on-the-fly fabrication of user-defined regional analysis algorithms. The stored dataset may also be temporarily augmented by user-uploaded dataset; The extension of this form, in essence, results in a virtual database which awaits for users commands as usual. An initial evaluation of the proposed system confirms that the issues involving the usage and dissemination of information can be addressed with success.

본 논문은 ColdFusion을 이용하여 온라인 설문조사 및 분석시스템을 구현한 것이다. 본 시스템은 그래픽 부분에서 미약한 C와 수행 속도에서 미약한 PHP의 단점을 보안하여 ColdFusion과 C의 장점을 합하여 Web 상에서의 설문조사와 더불어 기본적인 통계분석을 초보자들도 가능하도록 사용자의 관점에서 구현하였다. 기존의 설문조사 시스템이 갖는 1회성 조사라는 단점을 극복하여 축적되는 DB를 구축함으로 추세 분석이 가능하도록 하였다.

This study aims at presenting the educational model for the effective application of probability and statistics to the H/W curriculum. In order to do this, this paper conducts a survey with H/W major college students, and then analyzes how probability and statistics can be correlated with other H/W core subjects and how the knowledge of probability and statistics can affect the understanding of H/W majors through the actual class experiment. Consequently this study suggests probability and statistics as a prerequisite subject in the H/W curriculum.

2008년 도서관분야 국가승인통계 생성과 더불어 국가도서관통계시스템이 구축되었다. 본 연구는 국가도서관통계시스템 구축 이후 10년을 맞이하여 도서관통계데이터를 제공하는 국가도서관통계시스템이 도서관 정책 및 연구의 기초자료로 활용된 사례를 분석하였다. 데이터 수집은 한국한술지인용색인(KCI) 및 온-나라정책연구(PRISM)를 활용하여 2008년~2018년도에 발행된 학회지와 정책연구를 대상으로 하였다. 해당 데이터는 국가도서관통계시스템을 참고한 논문 95건, 정책연구보고서 39건이다.

본 발표에서는 1998년 서울대학교 통계학과에서 개발한 KESS(Korean Educational Statistical System; http://stats.snu.ac.kr/time)의 추가로 개발된 내용을 소개하기로 한다 (조신섭 외, 1999). 추가로 개발된 모듈(module)들은 통계교육에서 필요로 하는 분석법들 중에서 회귀분석, 시계열분석과 연관된 내용들이다. 기존의 여러 가지 통계패키지와 비교해 보아 효율적인 통계교육을 위한 필수적인 옵션 및 분석 결과를 제공하도록 하였다.
