Research on the Transmission Loss Analysis of the Honeycomb Structure's Floor Section (허니콤 구조물을 갖는 차체 바닥의 투과손실 해석기법 연구)

  • Sound transmission characteristics are investigated on the test specimen for the railway vehicle's floor section. Transmission loss on the honeycomb structure has been examined experimentally with the reverberation chamber. Predicted transmission loss values using NASTRAN, AUTOSEA2, are compared with measured Haloes and the effect of resonance on the transmission loss is identified. Transmission loss of different shapes of honeycomb structure are predicted.

  • The purpose of this study is to calculate transmission loss of KHST passenger vehicle's wall section accurately Typical transmission loss measurement of wall in the laboratory condition was carried out in advance, which is easier than KHST. Transmission loss results were compared with those by statistical acoustic method. Transmission loss values of KHST calculated by experimental method are compared with those from closed form solution.

Experimental Methods for the Measurement of Damping Loss Factors (내부손실계수 측정을 위한 실험 방법)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the most appropriate experimental method of the measurement of "damping loss factors" (DLF) for the statistical energy analysis(SEA) calculation. The successful prediction of vibration levels from the structure is critically dependent on the accurate estimation of DLF's not only in conventional vibration analysis but especially in SEA. Unforunately, calculation of accurate DLF is not an easy matter. So experimental methods are made use of for the DLF values. Three kinds of experimental methods for estimating DLF, i.e. decay rate method, half-power bandwidth method and power balance method, are presented and tests are carried out for the plate and the cylindrical shell examples. Pro and con of each methods is reviewed. Finally, calculated DLF values are used for vibration level estimation using commercial SEA software and compared with measured vibration data.tion data.

Statistical Analysis of VHF Channel Over the Sea Surface for Various Ranges (거리에 따른 해상 초단파 채널의 통계적 특성 분석)

  • VHF is generally used for data or voice communications between ships and land stations. Although there exist many analytical and empirical channel models for radio waves on land, over-the-sea models are very limited to basic description. In this paper, a VHF channel is measured using vertical and/or horizontal whip antennas on shore and a moving ship for various ranges. The results show that the Doppler shift and changes in power for various ranges are observed. We can also find that the statistical analysis results in that the statistical parameters are rapidly changes, especially for V/H and H/V channels.

  • 이륙과 음속 통과시 랜덤진동형태의 음향/진동환경에 노출되는 위성체의 음향/진동시험은 시제품을 완성한 후에 슨1행되므로 않은 시행착오를 겪거나, 과다한 안전계수를 사용하여 불필요한 무게증가 등의 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 통계적 에너지 해석법 (Statistical Energy Analysis)을 이용한 선행 해석이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 KOMPSAT-1 (Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite-1) 위성체의 SDM (Structural Dynamic Model)에 대하여 SEA 해석을 수행하였다. 감쇠 손실 인자 (Damping Loss Ffactor)는 단판을 분리하여, 연성 손실 인자(Coupling Loss Factor)는 SDM모델 하부의 두 샌드위치 패널을 분리하여 실험적으로 산정하였다.

Random Vibration of Coupled Beams (연결된 보의 랜덤진동해석)

  • Random vibration of the coupled identical beams subject to band-limted white noise is studied. The mean-square displacements average dspatially over each beam are derived analytically using two different modal analysis techniques and compared to the results by SEA(Statistical Energy Analysis). It is shown that when frequency is high and a large number of modes are included in the frequency band, the modal analysis methods and the SEA yield the same results provided that the loss factors are very small and the modal separation is much larger than the half-power bandwidth.

  • The low-altitude earth observation satellite is generally equipped with high performance camera as a main payload which is vulnerable to vibration environment. During the launch process of a satellite, the combustion and jet noise of launch vehicle produce severe acoustic environment and the acoustic loads induced may damage the critical equipments of the satellite including the camera. Therefore to predict and simulate the effect of the acoustic environment which the satellite has to sustain at the lift-off event is very important process to support the load-resistive design and test-qualification of components. Statistical Energy Analysis(SEA) has been widely used to estimate the vibro-acoustic responses of the structures and gives statistical but reliable results in the higher frequency region with less modeling efforts and calculation time than the standard FEA. In this study, SEA technique has been applied to a 3-Dimensional model of a low-altitude earth observation satellite to predict the acceleration responses on the structural components induced by the high level acoustic field in the launch vehicle fairing. In addition, the expected response on each critical component panel was calculated by the classical method in consideration of the mass loading and imposed sound pressure level, and then compared with SEA results.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 3차원 풍력터빈 블레이드 최적형상설계를 위한 실용적이고 효율적인 설계 과정을 구현하는 것이다. 국내 연안의 해상풍력에 적용하기 위해서 통계적 모델을 이용하여 풍황 자료를 분석하였다. 설계에 관련된 많은 수의 설계변수를 효과적으로 관리하기 위해서 설계과정은 운용조건 최적화와 블레이드 형상설계의 2단계로 구성하였다. 실험계획법에 의해 추출된 각 운용조건점은 형상설계를 위한 입력값으로 제공된다. 형상설계 단계에서는 최소에너지손실 조건과 결합된 BEMT를 이용하여 각 블레이드 단면에서의 시위길이와 피치각 분포를 최적화하였다. 블레이드 단면 익형은 NREL S830을 이용하였고, 익형의 공력성능은 XFOIL을 이용하여 예측하였다. 설계된 블레이드 형상의 성능해석을 수행하고 그 결과를 바탕으로 반응면을 구성하였다. 좀 더 나은 성능을 가진 블레이드 형상을 찾기 위해서 초기설계공간에서 확률적 방법을 이용하여 타당성 있는 설계공간까지 운용조건 설계변수를 이동시키고 구배최적화 기법을 통해 각각의 제약함수를 만족하면서 연평균발생에너지를 최대로 하는 최적블레이드 형상을 구현하였다. 제시된 최적설계과정은 풍력터빈블레이드 개발에 실용적이고 신뢰성 있는 설계툴로서 사용이 가능하다.

High Frequency Vibration Analysis of Arrayed Panel Structures Using a Ray Tracing Method (레이 추적 기법을 이용한 연속 평판 구조물의 고주파수 진동해석)

  • In this paper, the characteristics of the ray tracing method (RTM) based on the cylindrical wave are discussed for the high frequency vibration analysis of two-dimensional structures. A ray tube describing the emanating cylindrical wave is used to derive the governing equation for incident reflected, and transmitted ray tubes which satisfies the condition at the coupled boundary. The suggested ray model is applied to panel array structures, and the predicted results for 2-panel, 3-panel, and 4-panel array structures are compared to those by Statistical energy analysis (SEA) and Wave intensity analysis(WIA). More enhanced prediction was obtained compared to the SEA, and similar prediction performance was observed to the WIA. Additionally, the RTM has a novel feature that it can estimate the spatially smoothed distribution of vibration energy and vibration intensity. It is expected that the present RTM can be used as one of the useful tools for the high frequency vibration analysis of two-dimensional coupled structures.
