Public library statistics can be a useful tool for measuring public library resources and services and also supporting management process including planning and policy development. This study attempts to present an advanced national public library statistics system to report accurate description of public library situation. Main user groups and useful areas of public library statistics were identified through literature review, and the emerging trends of public library statistics systems at the national and international levels were summarized. Current public library statistics system, annually collected and published by the Korean Library Association, was analyzed and ways for the improvement were suggested particularly in the aspects of validity, reliability, consistency, currency, and utility.

Marine AtoN에 대한 정보 수집 및 트렌드 분석을 위하여 IALA에서는 2~4년 주기로 설문조사를 수행하고 있다. 이는 전 세계의 AtoN에 대한 통계정보를 수집하고 제공하기 위한 강력한 도구이나, 응답률이 매우 저조하여 유의미한 데이터 분석이 불가능한 상황이다. 또한, ARM 15차 회의에서 IALA 설문 체계의 문제점이 제기되며, IALA 설문체계 개선에 대한 필요성과 IALA 회원국의 AtoN data 수집 및 관리에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이러한 데이터 수집·관리 요구에 대응하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 IALA 설문체계의 문제점 분석 후, 단계적인 개선 방안을 제시하였다.

대한결핵협회는 지난 1965년도부터 매년 5년 간격으로 우리나라 결핵문제의 크기 및 추세를 파악하기 위해 표본조사통계방법인 전국결핵실태조사를 실시해 왔으며 이어 2000년도에는 인터넷 웹 기반의 전국결핵정보감시체계 구축을 통해 현행 결핵관리체계 안에서 공공의료부문과 민간의료부문을 통합 연계하는 정보수집 및 감시체계를 구축, 새로운 패러다임의 2000년대 결핵관리 정보체계를 개발 실시하고자 한다. 이에 올해 실시되는 전국결핵감시체계에 관해 살펴보고자 한다.

교통체계서비스는 안전한 교통 환경을 구축하는 것을 목표로 하여 차량, 도로, 기반 시설의 정보를 수집 및 처리하여 안전 교통정보를 제공한다. 교통체계서비스가 수집하는 차량 운행정보는 교통 안전 정보 외에도 다른 분야에서도 활용될 수 있으며 특히 다른 데이터와 결합하는 것으로 다양한 결과를 도출할 수 있어 연구, 통계 작성 등에 필요한 자료이다. 그러나 차량의 운행정보는 운전자의 개인정보를 포함하고 있어 운행정보 활용 시 가명화 및 가명결합이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 가명화된 운행정보를 가명결합하는데 발생하는 문제점을 설명하고 이러한 문제를 해결한 가명결합 방안을 연구하였다. 그 결과 교통체계서비스가 수집한 운행정보를 다른 기관의 데이터와 결합하여 활용할 수 있게 하여 개인정보를 보호하면서 데이터의 유용성을 활용하는데 기여할 것으로 예상한다.

국민건강 수준과 문제점의 파악, 보건사업의 기획 및 평가를 위해 정확한 출생과 사망에 관한 통계자료가 필수적이다. 그러나 출생신고 이전에 신생아가 사망하는 경우에 대부분 출생과 사망 모두를 신고하지 않아 영아사망률을 비롯한 보건통계를 산출하지 못하여 합리적인 보건사업의 기획 및 평가가 어려우며, OECD 회원국으로서 제시해야 할 기본적인 보건통계를 제시하지 못하고 있다. 또한 현행 출생신고자료에는 신생아와 산모의 건강상태에 관한 자료가 없어 보건서비스제공과 모자보건관련 역학적 연구에 활용 가치가 거의 없다. 지역보건의료정보화, 예방접종기록전산화, 미숙아 및 선천성기형아 등록 등 각종 등록 및 전산화사업이 진행중이나 이러한 사업들이 독립적으로 진행되고 있어 같거나 비슷한 자료의 중복 입력하게 되고, 상호 연계가 되지 않아 자료의 활용성이 낮고, 그 어느 사업도 전체 분모를 파악할 수 없는 단점이 있다. 이러한 문제들은 전산정보체계의 확립으로 해결할 수 있다. 약 99%의 분만이 의료기관에서 일어나고, 정부의 초고속 통신망을 비롯한 의료기관과 보건소의 전산화가 빠르게 진행되고 있어 전산정보체계를 위한 여건이 성숙되고 있다. 분만의료기관이 산모의 거주지 보건소로 직접 출생신고를 하면 보건소는 적기에 산모와 신생아에게 필요한 보건서비스를 제공할 수 있고, 보건소가 읍 면 동사무소로 출생신고 자료를 전송하면 산모는 동사무소에 가지 않고도 출생신고를 할 수 있으며, 보건통계자료수집과 출생신고관리에 필요한 인력과 시간을 절약할 수 있고, 정확한 생정통계를 얻을 수 있고, 예방접종기록과 미숙아 및 선천성기형아 등록은 쉽게 해결되고, 완전한 보건사업대상자의 database를 구축할 수 있어 평생건강관리체계의 기틀을 마련하게 된다. 이러한 전산신고체계를 확립하기 위하여 연자 등은 정부의 연구용역사업으로 전산프로그램과 표준신고양식과 신고체계를 개발하여, 포항과 천안시에서 2000년 3월에서 8월까지 시험 운영하였다. 시험운영결과 출생신고율은 99.9%이었으나 신생아사망의 전산신고율은 11.1%로 낮았다. 그러나 일단 출생신고된 신생아의 사망은 반드시 확인될 수 있는 것이 본 신고체계의 큰 장점이었다. 전산신고의 중요한 장애 요소는 현행법상 의료기관이 출생신고를 직접 할 의무가 없으므로 신고를 강요할 수 없고, 의료기관의 일손 부족으로 출생신고서를 충실하게 기재하지 못하는 것과 의료기관간의 전산화 수준의 차이가 심한 것이었다. 의료기관이 직접 신고를 하도록 하기 위하여 모자보건법 등 관련법 개정이 필요하며, 의료기관의 출생신고자료 송부에 대한 정당한 보상이 있어야 할 것이다. 의료기관 간의 전산화 수준의 차이는 data warehousing과 on-line analytical processing과 같은 기술을 이용하면 해결 가능할 것이다.

현재 우리나라에서는 이미 오래 전에 만들어진 도로교통사고 자료양식을 수정 없이 사용해오고 있으며, 이 교통사고 자료에 대한 정확한 분석과 세심한 통계 분석 체계가 구축되지 않고 있는 상황이다. 이를 위해 교통사고 발생과 관련된 교통사고처리 체계의 개선이 필요하다. 개성 방안으로 사고 현황 조사서인 104호 서식의 자료 항목을 공간적 관계나 자료간의 상관관계에 따라 연계하여 정보화하여 관리 및 분석 할 수 있는 방안을 제시하여 교통사고 자료를 지형공간정보체계 (GSIS, Geo-Spatial Information System)기반으로 구축하여 기존에 텍스트 형태의 자료 수집이 아닌 PDA를 이용하여 수신 받은 후 임시 저장된 자료를 사고 자료 양식에 맞게 입력 및 저장, 출력할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하였다. 또한, 교통안전정책 및 각종 사업에 필요한 자료로 이용되는 통계 자료를 교통사고 자료를 토대로 교통사고 발생원인 및 특징에 관하여 점, 선, 면의 공간 분석 기법을 적용한 분석 시스템 개발되어 그 활용성이 기대된다.

본 고는 대전광역시 첨단교통모델도시 건설사업의 일환으로 구축된 DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication) 기술을 활용한 교통정보시스템 구축 사례를 소개함을 목적으로 한다. 공공부문에서의 구간정보 수집 및 가공 체계 구축은 본 대전 ITS 사업이 처음이며 더욱이 DSRC 기술을 구간정보 수집에 적용한 최초의 시도이다. 이에 시스템 구축과정에서 적지 않은 쟁점이 도출되었고, 많은 시행착오를 통해 그 해법을 찾아가며 현재 운영중인 시스템을 완공하게 되었다. 노변기지국(RSE)과 차량장치(OBE)간의 통신에 의해 수집된 자료는, 필터링, 검지기 지점정보, 패턴데이터 등과의 자료합성, 평활화, 통계정보 및 패턴정보 생성 등의 과정을 거쳐 구간소통정보가 산출된다. 현재 운영중인 본 시스템은 향후 지속적으로 보완 발전시켜 나가야 하며, 이를 위해 프로브 수집체계 보완, 시스템의 성능평가, 패턴데이터의 적절한 유지관리, 알고리즘의 지속적 발전 등을 향후과제로서 제시하였다. 본 고는 ITS사업에 있어 중요 쟁점중에 한 분야인 소통정보의 가공 절차를 공유함으로써, 관련 분야의 기술개발 촉진과 향후 유사시스템 구축의 시행착오를 줄이는데 기여할 수 있으리라 판단된다.

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of recent studies conducted on the topic of nowcasting in order to enhance the accuracy and promptness of official statistical data. Furthermore, we propose an alternative approach involving the utilization of real-time data and its corresponding collection methods to effectively operate a real-time nowcasting model capable of accurately capturing the current economic condition. We explore high-frequency real-time data that can predict economic indicators in both the public and private sectors and propose a pipeline for data collection processing and modeling that is based on cloud platforms. Furthermore we validate the essential elements required for the implementation of real-time nowcasting, as well as their data management protocols to ensure the reliability and consistency needed for accurate forecasting of official statistical indicators.

In this thesis, we conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and the inherent problems found in modern statistics education in Elementary School. There are statistical curriculum, 7th textbook of elementary school level, practise of statistics class, connection of real life etc. Through analysis of these given problem, we explore the future direction of statistical education. Therefore, the statistical learning to make statistical situations and pose problems based on students' interests and students-related situations should be an effects on positive mathematical attitude and statistical thinking which could develop understanding statistical problems and thinking.

This study was intended to develop statistics indicators for the hospital library so that data related to the hospital library can be collected objectively and systematically. In order to derive items that can be used as statistics indicators for hospital libraries, 1) relevant laws, statutes and standards, 2) Statistical indicators related to hospital libraries presented in previous studies, and 3) Guidelines related to foreign hospital libraries were investigated and analyzed. The results were derived from 7 areas, 44 items and 57 sub-categories as a primary result. Statistical indicators derived in the first round were surveyed by experts and field staff to investigate their suitability. Based on this, statistics indicators for hospital libraries were developed in 7 areas, 39 items, and 54 sub-categories.
