최근 들어 생존분석 기법이 여러 분야에서 관심을 모으고 있을 뿐 아니라 생존자료를 분석하기 위한 여러 패키지들도 개발되어 연구되고 있다. 본고에서는 생존분석의 여러 모형을 간략히 소개하고 생존자료를 분석하기 위하여 널리 사용되고 있는 패키지인 SAS, SPSS, STATA의 기능을 찾아보고 그들의 특징을 비교 조사할 것이다.

최근 동남아시아에서는 경재성장과 더불어 생활환경의 변화로 인해 대형화재의 발생 증가와 화재의 발생 빈도가 증가하고, 발생패턴 또한 변하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 각 나라의 화재통계 비교분석을 통해 앞으로의 화재발생 경향을 예시하고자, 각국의 인구통계와 화재건수, 사망자수 등의 통계로 비교분석하였다. 각국의 비교에서는 중국 등 일부 나라는 도심지 지역을 제외한 일부지역의 정확한 데이터가 부족하고, 통계 시점이 불명확하였다. 또한, 우리나라는 데이터에 대한 분류방식변화로 통계치에 대한 발생건수 증가에 대한 대안이 있어야 하며, 특히 대만의 경우처럼 타 국가에 비해 급격한 감소 현상에 대한 화재대책방안을 참고 하여야 한다. 종합적으로는 각 나라의 사정은 다르겠지만, 동남아의 특징인 가족중심사회, 도시구조와 생활패턴 및 문화적 공통점을 고려 할 때 표준화된 통계분류방법이 필요하다.

Tourism is an attractive field of industry to many countries due to its strong potentials in increasing employment rates as well as improving the national image. The positive effect of the tourism on the national economy and globalization has been recognized in Korea. A multilateral effort has been made in order to develop its tourist industry. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the patterns of tourism demand in Korea. The present study analyzes and demonstrates the effects of a nation's characteristics on tourism demand. The study model was based on factors that affected tourism demand, especially emphasizing on the economic size, distance, national income, and language differences from the mother country. In particular, this study highlights the effects of economic relations between the countries and their exchange rate on tourism demand. In summary, this thesis demonstrates that actual national and international panel data enhance the credibility of the research and precisely determine factors that have a direct influence on tourism demand. A corresponding strategy of development and products are required as most tourists show the preference in advanced nations.

This study aims to find ways to improve the statistics education policy in Korea for the future based on the results from examining the high school statistics curricula in Korea and New Zealand. The statistics curriculum in New Zealand was analyzed comparatively with the corresponding contents of the probability and statistics domain in the Korea 2015 revised national mathematics curriculum. The analysis centered around achievement goals and key ideas of each of the two curricula. This comparative analysis provides implications on finding a direction in line with the global trend in the curriculum for statistics education and ultimately for Korea's statistics education for the future.

본고는 송혜향, 안윤기, 이용구, 조신섭, 그리고 허명회 교수 다섯분이 공동으로 연구 집필하여 학회에 보고한 "통계 교육과 상담 - 현황과 과거 10년의 변천" 제하의 논문에 대한 소론이다. 이 논문은 제목의 부제에 명시된 바와 같이 1981년 이후 1990년까지의 10년을 대상기간으로 했으며 내용도 제목에 명시된 바와 같이 통계교육과 상담에 관한 분석적 회고이다. 분석적 회고이다.

임상 및 실험 결과를 대외적으로 공인 받기 위해서는 통계적 검정 절차를 거치는 것이 일반적이다. 하지만 통계적 전문 지식이 부족한 사용자가 통계 소프트웨어를 배우는 데는 시간이 많이 걸리며, 결과 해석에도 어려움이 많은 실정이다. 데이터의 특성과 성질에 맞추어 통계법이 선택되어야 하는데, 통계지식이 부족한 초보자들은 가장 일반적인 분석법을 적용시키곤 한다. 이와 같은 방식의 통계분석은 잘못된 결과로 이어질 수 있기 때문에 올바른 분석법을 가이드 해주는 기능이 필요하다. 또한 통계분석법의 적합성을 평가하는데 있어 오차와 잔차의 등분산성 가정이 유용하게 쓰여질 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 사용자에게 올바른 분석법을 제시하는 비쥬얼 가이드 인터페이스와 잔차를 3D Glyph를 이용하여 보여주는 불확실성 시각화 방법을 사용하였다. 분석법 적용에서 나타나는 불확실한 데이터의 시각화는 의사결정에 도움을 줄 수 있다.

공간자료의 예측문제에 있어 전통적 예측방법인 크리깅방법과 최근 통계적문제 적용되기 시작한 신경망분석방법 간의 비교를 사례연구를 통해 행하였다. 일반적으로 크리깅에 의한 선형예측은 공간자료에 대한 일반적 통계모형으로서 간주되어 왔다. 한편 예측문제에 있어 뉴럴네트워크에 기초한 비모수적 방법이 관심의 대상이 되고 있으며 특히 대용량 자료의 경우 데이터마이닝 기법의 한 분야로 널리 사용되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 공간 자료의 예측에 있어 유전자 알고리즘을 신경망분석 모형을 결합하여 기존의 크리깅방법과의 예측력을 비교한다.

The goal of this study is an exploratory statistical analysis of the university and college library statistics in the Academic Information Statistics System(rinfo.kr) governed of Korean Education and Research Information Service(KERIS) with performance measures based on sustainability. For the goal, we adopt a preprocessing method to develop change-rate variables by considering preceding predictive elements and succeeding performance elements, and to control external factors, such as size and socioeconomic factors. Then we execute a series of factor analyses and multiple linear regression analyses. 13 factors are extracted by the factor analyses and some sets of significant variables affecting the performance measures are identified through the regression analyses. Based on the results, we discuss the problem of out-lier and low correlation between variables. A suggestion for developing new variables is also discussed based on low effect sizes of the developed regression models. We hope that this study contributes to diffuse discussions on statistics system, evaluation, and further library management based on sustainability.

In this study, we compare multivariate R-techniques in the up-to-date versions of SAS, SPSS, Minitab and S-plus. The direct input method by typing in command is considered for SAS, while the menu-driven method is considered for SPSS, Minitab and S-plus. Comparison was made in terms of input data format, input option, charts and outputs.
