The purpose of this paper is deriving philosophical foundations of information services by clarifying its concepts and attributes. Clarifying its concepts and attributes is based on the origin of the term information services, definitions and contents, historical and social perspectives. The theory of information services was reorganized by logically demonstrating that the term "information services" is most suitable name to represent its essence, attributes, and activities. The philosophy of information services has the key elements as instruction, information, guidance, and service in humanistic aspects which have been shown consistently in the origin of the term, definitions, historical and social perspectives. This paper tried to establish philosophical basis for information services that is focused on these elements.

본 연구는 도시 및 지역의 지속가능성을 측정하고 평가하기 위한 수단으로 요구되는 ‘지표’의 개발방법과 절차를 설정하는데 목적이 있다. 사례지역으로 미국의 잭슨빌, 시애틀, 오레건 지역을, 지표개발을 위한 방법론으로서는 Maclaren의 이론을 분석하였다. 분석을 통하여 지속가능성 지표는 단순한 평가수단이 아니라 그 개발과정을 통해 시민그룹의 지속가능한 발전에 대한 인식을 제고함과 동시에 구성원의 협력과 노력에 입각하여 미래지향적인 새로운 공동체를 만들어 나가는 강력한 매개체가 될 수 있다는 시사점을 추출하였다. 이를 토대로 지속가능성 도시지표 개발절차를, \circled1 지표개발 주체 형성 \circled2 목표 및 비전의 정립 \circled3지표개발에 따른 기본방침의 설정 \circled4 지표개발을 위한 측정 및 분석 \circled5 예비지표의 발굴과 지표선택기준 마련 \circled6 예비지표 평가를 통한 최종지표의 선택 \circled7 지표에 대한 측정 및 분석 \circled8 지표분석 결과 보고 및 발표 \circled9 지표작업평가 및 새로운 목표 수립 등 9단계로 설정하였다. 본 연구가 제시한 지속가능성 도시지표 개발절차는 우리 나라의 지역 및 도시단위에서 지속가능성 도시지표를 설정하는데 준거로 활용될수 있을 것이다.

The reasonable static and dynamic earth pressure equations were developed by applying the Dubrova's theory and Chang's method to the following cases of wall movements; (1) Active case rotating about the top (2) Active case rotating about the bottom (3) Passive case rotating about the top (4) Passive case rotating about the bottom The equations are presented in accordance with particular wall displacements for the sand and cohesive back-fill, respectively. The results computed by the proposed equations are compared with the conventional theoretical values.

This empirical study is to investigate the influence of MMORPG player's social as well as individual characteristics on the emergent party play. First, we have tested our research model by surveying 231 active players of Lineage 2. The results demonstrate that both the personal values, such as self-efficacy and job satisfaction, and also the organizational values, such as task interdependence and trust, have significant influences on the organizational citizenship behaviors among the party players. This study suggests both theoretical and practical implications on how to encourage gamers' altruistic concern and organizational adaptation in MMORPG.

Port marketing using websites in the e-business environment is essential in response to the competition to become hub ports, especially since shipping companies, ports' major customers, are being pressed by shippers to reduce logistics costs and introduce large ships to realize economies of scale, thereby reducing the number of ports of call. In this sense, this study intends to approach the port industry from the perspective of e-business and suggest vitalization methods using Gwangyang Port websites(6C; contents, community, communication, connection, commerce, customization) as one of the ways to turn it into Northeast Asia's hub port of logistics.

This study was developed from the idea that giving has been interpreted exclusively as a social selection based on reasonal thinking. The purpose of the presented study was to investigate the hypothesis that giving was a habitus of citizen, based on Bourdieu theory of social setting and habitus. For that purpose, this study analyzed the secondary data from KGSS 2011 through SEM. Result revealed that the goodness of fit for the proposed structural model was high. Also, level of virtue as civizen and social participation as citizen were significantly associated with level of giving, supporting the hypothesis that giving was a hibitus of citizen.

This study is to suggest a method of constructing Informatics textbook considering the cognitive development level of middle school learners. We developed 3 types of learning content models according to the educational objectives and activities of learners and then suggested the methods of constructing textbook. For this, we reviewed the related research results on the development characteristics and cognitive development theories of middle school students. Second, we drew instructional schemes from the pedagogic theories. Then, we suggested 3 models: 'Learning Centered on Concept'. 'Learning Centered on Investigation', and ' learning Centered on Actual Training'. We suggested construction schemes to each model and verified the adequacy using questionnaire to 30 teachers and received the positive responses from most teachers.

It is well known that the hydrodynamic interaction forces between ship and bank wall affect ship manoeuvring motion This paper deals with the interaction effect acting on a ship navigating closely in the proximity of bank wall. In this paper, the calculation method based on the slender body theory for estimation of the hydrodynamic interaction forces between ship and bank wall is applied. The hydrodynamic interaction forces acting on a ship during passing through the proximity of the bank wall are predicted to evaluate an influence of these interaction forces on ship manoeuvrability. The calculation method used in this paper will be useful for prediction of ship manoeuvrability at the initial stage of design, for automatic control system of ship in confined waterways, for discussion of marine traffic control system and for construction of harbour.

Public records, produced during the period of Government-General of Chosun. are essential sources for Korean modern history research. The purpose of this study is to provide a guideline for developing function-based classification scheme for the records. This present paper begins with analyzing archival principles regarding the function-based classification. and examines the problems of current arrangement practices. Based on these analyses, it suggests a guideline for constructing a classification system and a functional thesaurus for the public records of Government-General of Chosun. This guideline also covers functional analysis process and some considerations of different classification aspects which are conceptual, verbal and notational.

The settling behavior of marine fluid mud in the west seaside of Korea has been studied with theoretical analysis and experimental technique. This paper describes laboratorial experiments on the sedimentation and the deposition of soil particles in seawater, with measurement of velocity of interface, the water contents, the settlement. And the reseults are compared with an earlier theoretical research, the hindered settling theory of Kynch, McRoberts and Nixon. According to the results the process of Banweol mud sedimentation showed the typical mode of the hindered settling under the condition of initial water content, wo=1000%. Also, the falling rates of fluid mud interface from initial settling height vs. the rising rates of soil deposit from the bottom of the test tub were measured by the function of time, the correlati tranship of them demonstrated as a straight line and obtained an experimental formula.
