  • 하천유역조사는 관련 법률의 규정에 의해 물관리정책의 수립에 필요한 기초정보를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 기본현황, 이수, 치수 환경생태 등 유역관리에 필요한 주요 조사항목을 대상으로 수행되고 있다. 조사방법 중 원격탐사자료 활용한 조사는 드론 모니터링 영상 및 위성영상자료를 이용해 댐·제방과 같은 치수 시설물의 안전관리, 수질 모니터링, 하천지형조사, 하상변동조사 등에 활용되고 있다. 최근에는 일반 RGB 영상뿐만 아니라 수백개의 분광밴드를 포함한 초분광영상을 이용한 하천조사 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 초분광영상은 분광해상도가 높아 다항목 조사에 활용할 수 있다는 장점이 있지만, 많은 양의 분광정보를 포함하고 있기 때문에 초기 수집 자료의 용량이 너무 크고, 분석을 위한 전처리 과정이 까다롭다는 단점이 있다. 반면, 10개 이하 밴드의 분광정보를 수집하는 다분광영상은 2개 밴드를 이용해 정규식생지수(NDVI)를 즉각적으로 모니터링할 수 있고, 작물의 생육현황 등을 분석할 수 있어 농업 및 산림분야에서 널리 활용되고 있다. 초분광영상을 이용한 수심산정 연구는 최적 밴드비 탐색 기법(OBRA)을 활용해 측정수심과 상관관계가 높은 밴드비를 이용해 수심맵을 구축하는 방식이 활용되어왔다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 초분광영상을 활용한 수심산정기법을 다분광영상에 적용하여 분광밴드수가 축소된(경량화된) 자료를 활용한 수심산정 가능성을 확인하기 위해 동일한 현장에서 초분광과 다분광 두가지 영상을 촬영하였으며, 각각 수심맵을 구축해 하천분야에서 다분광영상의 활용도를 평가하였다. 또한, 기존의 OBRA의 한계를 개선하기 위해 가우시안 혼합 모델(GMM; Gaussian Mixture Model)을 활용해 영상을 군집화하여 수심산정 정확도를 개선하였다.

Analysis and Evaluation of the Effect of Blast-induced Vibration Adjacent to Industrial Facilities (산업시설 근접발파 시 발파진동 영향 분석 및 평가)

  • Power plant is a kind of basic industrial facility and might cause fatal industrial and human damage. In this study, the characteristics and effect of blast-induced vibration for tunnelling which underpass ○○ power plant in operation were evaluated. Previous blasting cases adjacent to industrial facilities were intensively reviewed, then allowable vibration criteria were suggested. 3 dimensional dynamic numerical analysis based on finite element method was performed to investigate particle velocity and resonance was examined by calculating the predominant frequencies. As a result, particle velocity at pump foundation which is nearest to the source was approached to the allowable criteria, therefore, the modified blasting pattern was newly suggested and confirmed the attenuation effect based on the test blasting. Consequently, appropriated decision-support procedure was established in case of adjacent blasting to industrial facilities.

  • 효과적인 하천의 유지 및 관리를 위해서는 준설과 각종 수리시설물 영향에 의한 하상변화 양상을 파악하는 것이 필수적이다. 일반적으로 하상변화 분석을 위해서는 하도지형, 하상재료, 유사량 등 현장계측자료가 요구되지만, 대하천 주요 지점이나 정기조사가 이루어지는 일부 지점이 아니라면 하상변화 분석을 위한 현장계측자료가 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 하천을 효율적으로 관리하고 운영하기 위해서는 장래 하상변화 양상을 분석하는데 필요한 충분한 공간적 해상도를 가지는 지형정보와 하상재료 및 유사량 계측자료가 필요하며, 이를 기반으로 중기 및 장기 하상변화를 예측하고 그에 따른 하천관리계획을 수립하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 하도지형 현황자료의 공간해상도가 하상변화의 양적 규모 평가에 미치는 영향을 평가해보고자 한다. 현행 낙동강과 같은 대하천 하도의 하상변동 관련된 조사 및 연구 분석에는 500 m 간격을 기준으로 설정된 기준상의 측선 자료를 이용한다. 본 연구방법으로는 기존 측선을 이용하여 산정된 체적하상변동량과 기준 측선 사이 구간에 대해 측정된 보조측선에 대한 지형정보를 함께 활용하여 산정한 체적하상변동량을 비교함으로써, 하도지형자료의 해상도에 따른 체적변동량 산정결과의 차이와 영향을 평가하였다. 비교를 통해 기존 측선기준 하상변동량 산정치가 실체 하상변동량과 큰 차이를 보일 수 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 효과적인 하천의 유지 및 관리와 계획 수립을 위해서는 보다 높은 공간해상도의 하도지형자료를 기반으로 한 하상변동 평가 및 분석의 정확도 제고가 필요한 것으로 판단된다. 향후 본 연구 성과를 장래의 하상변화조사의 기초자료로 활용시 상기의 문제점(자료 품질, 추정 자료 사용 등)을 해결하여 모의의 정확성과 정밀성을 제고할 수 있을 것으로 기대되는 바이다.

Selection of Expressway Ramp Metering Sites and Priority Making (고속도로 램프미터링 도입지점 및 우선순위 선정)

  • In spite of the proven effectiveness of ramp metering system, it has not been successfully implemented in Korean setting. The purpose of this paper is to select target locations to introduce ramp metering into the Korean expressway system. For this, domestic standards to introduce ramp metering have been presented after reviewing those of the US. The major criteria are level of service (LOS), the existence of detour route, space for queue build-up and opened ramp. 15 different locations were selected and AHP has been used to make priority among them. Intuitively, the result of priority was in accordance with the congestion and traffic volume. The core results identified in this paper is expected to be used in different cities and expressway networks elsewhere.

A Post Assessment of Streetscape Improvement Projects Based on District Unit Plans (환경정비형 지구단위계획의 효과분석 - 건대앞 노유거리, 성신여대앞 하나로거리, 이대앞 찾고싶은거리를 중심으로 -)

  • The goal of this study is to investigate the achievement of street improvement projects based on district unit plans aiming at improving the urban streetscape. Post assessments are conducted for three streetscape improvement projects - Noyu street improvement project, Hanaro street improvement project next to Sungshin women's university, Chatgoshipun street improvement project in front of Ehwa women's university. The results of the post assessment indicate that the initial quality of streetscape has been improved after the projects. The long-term sustainability of the streetscape, however, was not achieved for the street improvement project applied at the street next to Sungshin women's university due to the lack of support from the community. It is found that the key component of success for the street improvement project is the strong cooperation between public and private parties.

Development and its APPLIcation of Computer Program for Slope Hazards Prediction using Decision Tree Model (의사결정나무모형을 이용한 급경사지재해 예측프로그램 개발 및 적용)

  • Based on the data obtained from field investigation and soil testing to slope hazards occurrence section and non-occurrence section in crystalline rocks like gneiss, granite, and so on, a prediction model was developed by the use of a decision tree model. The classification standard of the selected prediction model is composed of the slope angle, the coefficient of permeability and the void ratio in the order. The computer program, SHAPP ver. 1.0 for prediction of slope hazards around an important national facilities using GIS technique and the developed model. To prove the developed prediction model and the computer program, the field data surveyed from Jumunjin, Gangneung city were compared with the prediction result in the same site. As the result of comparison, the real occurrence location of slope hazards was similar to the predicted section. Through the continuous study, the accuracy about prediction result of slope hazards will be upgraded and the computer program will be commonly used in practical.

  • The Directional sign system in Korean high speed railway stations has a lot of problems. For an example, It lacks of consistency in the shape or allocation. Also, the signs do not match with the actual directions sometimes. Last but not least, the view is blocked by the other signs such as advertisement or other barriers. We suggested the methods to standardize the sign systems that include visibility, accuracy, consistency, and simplicity. First, we categorized signs into directional signs, locational signs, and infomational signs. Then, we examined the actual high speed railway stations in Korea to learn the real situation. Finally, we suggested the methods to standardize the sign systems considering the factors that are visibility, accuracy, consistency, and simplicity.

  • Autonomous driving technologies have been gradually improved for road traffic owing to the development of artificial intelligence. Since the truck platooning is beneficial in terms of the associated transporting expenses, the Connected-Automated Vehicle technology is rapidly evolving. The structural performance is, however, rarely investigated to capture the effect of truck platooning on civil infrastructures.In this study, the dynamic behavior of bridges under truck platooning was investigated, and the amplification factor of responses was estimated considering several parameters associated with the driving conditions. Artificial intelligence techniques were used to estimate the maximum response of the mid span of a bridge as the platooning vehicles passing, and the importance of the parameters was evaluated. The most suitable algorithm was selected by evaluating the consistency of the estimated displacement.

Durability Analysis and Development of Probability-Based Carbonation Prediction Model in Concrete Structure (콘크리트 구조물의 확률론적 탄산화 예측 모델 개발 및 내구성 해석)

  • Recently, many researchers have been carried out to estimate more controlled service life and long-term performance of carbonated concrete structures. Durability analysis and design based on probability have been induced to new concrete structures for design. This paper provides a carbonation prediction model based on the Fick's 1st law of diffusion using statistic data of carbonated concrete structures and the probabilistic analysis of the durability performance has been carried out by using a Bayes' theorem. The influence of concerned design parameters such as $CO_2$ diffusion coefficient, atmospheric $CO_2$ concentration, absorption quantity of $CO_2$ and the degree of hydration was investigated. Using a monitoring data, this model which was based on probabilistic approach was predicted a carbonation depth and a remaining service life at a variety of environmental concrete structures. Form the result, the application method using a realistic carbonation prediction model can be to estimate erosion-open-time, controlled durability and to determine a making decision for suitable repair and maintenance of carbonated concrete structures.

Integrated Data Model of Topographic and Cadastral Information in LIS (토지정보체계에서 지형 및 지적 정보의 공동 활용에 관한 연구)

  • With the new paradigm of ubiquitous in the developed computing technology, it is urgently necessary to research GIS fields centering around positioning techniques. The intention of this study is to propose implementation methods for integrating topographic and cadastral data. For this purpose an integrated data model is formed to coincide the graphic data of cadastral map with that of topographic map. As a result, the integrated data model could be built by harmonizing cadastral map with topographic map. We suggest data model for connecting with other information systems in the conditions of data uniformity and implementation. This data implementation models suggested in this research can provide a good reference for the future implementation of other systems. This results will be efficiently used as basis for practical use in ubiquitous environments of spatial informations.
