A Study on Development of Bridge Maintenance and Management System Using GSIS (GSIS를 이용한 교량 유지보수 이력관리 체계 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Collapse of a huge structural material has brought about enormous loss of lives and property. Every construction may be destroyed by the nature's power and careless mistake of human as well as its own defect. So a great number of concern and detailed managing technique are demanded not in constructing work but also in management of constructed material. The Interest of construction safety has Increased rapidly and a plenty of effort has been attempted to manage systematically. In this study, the use of FM(Facilities Management) as a branch of GSIS(Geo-spatial Information System) was developed to offer the users convenient managing achievement and establishment of history managing system in the bridge management system. This study accomplished dividing all information of images, photos, drawing and etc. into their items of time, material and the person in charge, and developed to stue and maintain those items in database. Related database which is composed of recording of check, retrieving and adding the data was accomplished to an easy access of database, and by using these data as output for example images, m display, report and hard copy, this system was proved to help manage efficiently in bridge management system.

Road O&M Cost Prediction Model with the Integration of the Impacts of Climate Change using Binomial Tree Model (기후변화 영향을 고려한 도로시설 유지관리 비용변동성 예측 이항분석모델)

  • Due to the increasing trend of operation and maintenance cost (O&M cost) of infrastructure, the accurate estimation of O&M cost is crucial part to the government. Recent literatures pointed out that gradual climate changes such as average temperature changes, average precipitation changes, and etc. have significant impact on infrastructure O&M cost. This research is intended to develop a long-term O&M cost prediction model of road facilities by considering the impacts of average temperature changes. For this end, the climate change scenarios of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)'s $5^{th}$ report are adopted to structure the impact of average temperature changes by using binomial lattice model. The proposed framework is expected to regional government in supporting decisions for road O&M cost.

A Factor Analysis of Urban Railway Casualty Accidents and Establishment of Preventive Response Systems (도시철도 철도안전사상사고 원인분석 및 예방대응체계구축)

  • Since the opening of Seoul Subway Line #1 in 1974, the number of passengers has been increasing. The possibility for passenger's accidents in railway stations has also increased. In order to decrease these kind of accidents, railway operation systems have been automated. Nevertheless, the possibility of a casualty accident in railway stations remains. This study analyzed the type of casualty accidents, casualty accidents by age, sex, pedestrian facility, and passenger type based on the internal data of Seoul Metro. The causes of casualty accidents are also found out. Finally, the establishment of railway safety education program and railway safety experience center are suggested in order to prevent the urban railway casualty accident in advance at railway stations.

Evaluation of Anti-Stripping Performance in Asphalt Concrete using Byproduct Ash produced from Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler (보일러 부산 애쉬를 이용한 아스팔트 콘크리트의 박리저항성 평가)

  • Pot-holes are steadily increasing due to abnormal climate such as heavy rainfall and frequent snowfall. Pot-hole related to traffic accidents cause injuries, car damage and distress of road facilities. To reduce pot-holes, the use of an anti-stripping agent is mandatorily recommended to asphalt concrete mixture. Hydrated lime is commonly used as anti-stripping agent due to the convenience and economics. Byproduct ash from circulating fluidized bed boiler was reviewed as an anti stripping agent. According to the test results, the byproduct ash is satisfied with TSR specification using 1% to 3% by weight of the asphalt mixture. The byproduct ash was examined under various condition changes of aggregate and asphalt concrete mixture considering quality movement. According to the results, using the byproduct ash was measured average 0.87 of TSR and coverage rates of 60% after rolling bottle test. Test results also revealed that the byproduct ash showed stable performance. Using the byproduct ash to decrease pot-hole in asphalt concrete pavement is suitable for demonstrating stable performance as anti-stripping agent.

  • This paper aims to present accurately analytical modeling method for underpinning using uncertainty reduction, obtained from comparison between numerical analysis and Site measuring data during construction and service stages. Combination of various conditions should be considered for using numerical analysis to predict the behavior of the structure accurately, even though complexly considered the conditions, real construction should be secured the stability by applying the actual instrument measurement data because predicted results are including the considerable uncertainty. In order to secure the stability during construction, the real time instrument measurements together with numerical analysis results performed before construction state are complementary used actively. From the results of this study, the significant settlements are occurred not only in underpass structure of adjacent excavation area but also in the permanent steel pipe structures were analyzed. From the site measurement results of underpass settlement, the settlements are occurred in every stages of excavation, furthermore observed tendency is asymmetrical excavation patterns are settled more than symmetrical excavation patterns. The essential consideration points for numerical analysis are construction sequence, the direction of the existing facilities, the methods of elements modeling, the applied factors for nature of material and different results would be occurred depending upon inputting the above factors.

  • A Development of the Evaluation Criteria on the User's Bicycle Environment for Work and School Trip Purpose: This study suggests future improvements and some current questions about the development of the evaluation criteria on the user's bicycle environment for Work and School Trip Purpose. The direction of development on Evaluation Criteria is all about on the side of necessity of bicycle users, the reflection of new policy, the construction of total evaluation criteria, and the examination of connecting study with current study. This study establishes a Development of the Evaluation Criteria on the User's Bicycle Environment for Work and School Trip Purpose. After that, this study examines previous evaluation criterias and researchers will select the primary provision of evaluation through FGI, and they derive the final evaluation criteria throughout the verification of suitability on Evaluation Criteria. The summery of this study is like this. First, suggestions of improvements of zones in bicycles users' evaluations, Second Suggestions of the current conditions by GIS and the result of model analysis, Third Clarify of major provisions in terms of zones by using Spider Map.

A Study on the Utilization Improvements by Function Analysis of the Construction CALS (건설 CALS 시스템의 기능분석을 통한 활용성 개선방안 연구)

  • Recent construction projects consist of large and complex facilities, which project management information system (PMIS) is used for managing construction cost and schedule. The ministry of land, transport and maritime affairs (MLTM) is using a continuous acquisition and life-cycle support (CALS) system for managing the public construction projects. This study attempts to survey some problems of the CALS system in practical application, and then suggests the new functions to improve practical application of the CALS system. All functions in each menu were analyzed in the practical application aspect. All projects ordered from MLTM should use the CALS system as a PMIS, but the practical application is limited in partial functions and special working group. And the utilization of system is focused on simple tasks and report process. One of main reason is that the system is using numerical data rather than graphical data. This study suggests new functions and a visualized management method that can improve the practical applicability using a 4D object in each current functions.

The Impacts of Time-Varying Accessibility of Facilities on Housing Price Change by the Modified Repeat Sales Model - The Case of Subway Line 9 in Seoul - (수정반복매매모형을 활용한 시설접근성의 변화가 주택가격 변화에 미치는 영향 분석 - 지하철 9호선을 중심으로 -)

  • The modified repeat-sales model is employed in this study in order to identify differentiating impacts of time-varying accessibility characteristics on housing price. The results demonstrate that accessibility measures have very differential impacts on housing price over time. The improvement of accessibility through newly built facilities and apartment complex has either increased or decreased housing price. For example, the new subway line 9 has positive impact on housing price nearby, therefore price gap between subway access area and the other parts has been increased. The impact of the wide area facilities such as shopping center and hospital are decreased because they can be used more easily by the new subway line before. However, the small service area facility such as elementary school doesn't lose their impact even though subway accessibility extremely increased. The results imply that new facilities in existing residential site can affect not only housing price but also the other facilities' impact of housing price.

  • 최근 강우패턴의 변화에 따라 동일한 강우에 대하여 도시지역에서 증가된 첨두유량을 보이며 도달시간이 단축되어 홍수의 위험성이 매우 높다. 도시화에 따라 하천변의 개발과, 불투수 지역의 증가로 배수관망의 분포에 따라 통수능을 초과하지 않는 소규모의 강우에도 내수배제불량에 의한 침수가 발생할 가능성을 지니고 있다. 이러한 도시유역의 침수방지를 위한 내수배제시설에는 배수문, 배수펌프, 저류지, 침투시설 등 다양한 홍수분담시설이 있지만, 기존 도시유역에서의 내수배제는 빗물펌프장 등 일부 구조물에만 치중되기 쉽다. 따라서 다양한 내수배제방안 및 그에 따른 효과를 종합적으로 고려한 내수배제시설의 설치가 필요하다. 도시화가 가중화되고, 인구의 증가와 사회기반시설이 밀집되어 있는 도시지역의 침수는 인명, 재산 및 주요 시설물에 대한 피해로 이어지게 된다. 그러므로 도시지역의 침수로 인한 피해저감에 있어 유출현상의 정확한 해석 능력은 홍수제어를 위한 홍수량의 예측과 배수 및 수방시설의 설계, 침수위험지역 선정 등에 있어서 매우 중요하다. 연구 대상지역은 최근 폭우발생시 침수피해가 빈번히 발생한 서울시의 도림천 유역을 선정하였다. 도림천 유역은 도심지를 관통하며 하천의 일부가 복개되어 하천이 큰 관로의 형태를 띠고 있으며, 하천의 범람, 관거 및 내수배제 불량에 의한 침수피해가 발생하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 도시침수에 대한 효율적인 내수배제를 위한 내수배제시설 설계를 위해 설계강우의 변동에 의한 유출량의 변화를 검토하여, 배수체계에서의 역류로 인한 월류량을 산정한 뒤 범람해석모형인 FLUMEN 모형에 적용하여 도시유역에서 우수의 거동에 관한 모의를 실시하였다.

Development of Selection Criteria of Small Scale Reservoirs for Emergency Action Plan(EAP) Establishment (소규모 저수지 비상대처계획(EAP) 수립 선정지표 개발)

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 기상이변의 영향 및 지진 발생과 저수지 노후화 등으로 지속적으로 발생되고 있는 소규모 저수지 붕괴에 의한 재해 위험성을 경감하고자 댐 저수지 EAP 수립 기준 이하 소규모 저수지를 대상으로 EAP 수립 대상여부를 판단할 선정지표를 개발하였다. 기존의 EAP 수립지침 검토, 과거 붕괴사례 분석, 관련분야 선행 연구 등을 분석하여 저수용량, 제체높이, 경과연수, 호우인자 및 지진인자를 포함하는 5개 선정지표를 정량화 하여 제시하므로 실무적용을 용이하게 하고자 하였다. 또한 개발된 선정지표는 EAP 수립 기준 이하 소규모 저수지에 적용하기에 앞서 각 선정 지표별 저수지 붕괴와의 연관성을 파악하기 위해 과거 저수지 붕괴사례에 단일지표 및 지표간 중첩도를 파악해 보았다. 그 결과, 지진인자, 호우인자, 지진 및 호우인자, 경과연수 지표순 순으로 저수지 붕괴와 높은 연관성을 나타내어, 소규모 저수지 붕괴에 연관되는 주요 지표를 지진인자, 호우인자, 경과연수로 선정하였다. 본 연구에서 선정된 지표간의 중첩정도를 파악하기 위해 과거 저수지 붕괴사례에 적용해 본 결과 호우인자+지진인자가 가장 높은 중첩도를 나타났다. 다음으로 본 연구를 통해 도출된 EAP 수립 대상 선정지표 중 주요 지표인 지진인자, 호우인자, 경과연수를 대상으로 2개의 지표가 중첩될 경우와 3개의 지표가 중첩될 경우를 EAP 수립 대상 관찰그룹과 검토그룹의 각각 분류한 후 이를 재해위험 저수지(MOIS, 2016)에 적용하여 보았다. 그 결과, EAP 수립 대상 관찰그룹에 속하는 경우가 38.5%를 차지하였고, 검토그룹에 속하는 경우가 11.9%를 차지하였다. EAP 수립 대상 관찰그룹에 해당하는 저수지에 대해서는 전문 시설관리자에 의한 주기적 점검 및 계측기 설치를 통한 모니터링 실시 등으로 세심한 시설물 관리가 필요할 것으로 판단되며, EAP 수립 대상 검토그룹에 해당하는 저수지에 대해서는 제체 하류부 구간의 주민 거주 현황, 경작지, 축사 등 재산 현황 및 EAP 수립에 소요되는 예산 등을 종합적으로 고려하여 저수지 관리기관에서 최종적으로 EAP 수립 여부를 결정하여 잠재적인 피해 발생을 사전에 저감시켜야 하겠다. 본 연구의 결과는 기존의 EAP 수립 기준의 보완책으로 활용 가능할 것으로 사료된다.
