A Study on the Analysis of Semantic Relation and Category of the Korean Emotion Words (한글 감정단어의 의미적 관계와 범주 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the semantic relation network and valence-arousal dimension through the words that describe emotions in Korean language. The results of this analysis are summarized as follows. Firstly, each emotion word was semantically linked in the network. This particular feature hinders differentiating various types of "emotion words" in accordance with similarity in meaning. Instead, central emotion words playing a central role in a network was identified. Secondly, many words are classified as two categories at the valence and arousal level: (1) negative of valence and high of arousal, (2) negative of valence and middle of arousal. This aspects of Korean emotional words would be useful to analyze emotions in various text data of books and document information.

Implementation of Web-based Reporting System (웹 기반 리포팅 시스템 구현)

  • This paper describes how to implement reporting system for web-based information system. Reporting system is the S/W module that user is able to produce output of data in formal format. In Client/Server system, remote user can make formal output with client-side reporting component module. This client reporting component is usually system dependent. With web based information system, intranet, evolving, this client/server system need to he migrated to web-based reporting system. Reporting system component support multi-processing and real-time text/graphic output of server data. Ant Client can save or pint web page of client module. Especially, for real test its function and user interface, this reporting component is adopted in real network management system. The result shows that this reporting system component is very smart and excellent for real time web based monitoring system.

  • MMORPG started from text-based MUD in the early '80s and had developed a lot of technology to the present. As these technologies evolve, so far, the game has changed in the game centred on male enthusiasts, and the use of players with various tendencies is increasing. As a result, a new phenomenon in the MMORPG virtual space has created. In this paper, MMORPG users are divided into five factors by using Q methodology and studied play about fandom phenomenon. Through this, the player showed the self-expression phenomenon according to the level, and the characteristic that develops from the enjoyment of the gameplay itself to the fandom phenomenon further developed.

Preliminary Analysis of Language Styles between South and North Korean Broadcastings (남북한 방송언어의 차이에 대한 기초 분석)

  • This study compared South and North Korean broadcasting languages to measure the language differences due to the long segregation. This study would provide fundamental database on the language uses between South and North Korea. The KLIWC analyzed the text that was selected from news clips of South and North Korean broadcasting agencies. The results showed that North Korean languages were significantly different from South in terms of affective, cognitive, and social words. In addition, North Korean broadcasting used more person pronoun and a part of speech than South Korean broadcasting. Psychological interpretations were provided based on the language differences.

  • In information retrieval, different surface forms of the same object can cause poor performance of systems. In this paper, we propose the method extracting alternative words using translation words as features of each word extracted from parallel corpus, korean/english title pair of patent information. Also, we propose an association word filtering method to remove association words from an alternative word list. Evaluation results show that the proposed method outperforms other alternative word extraction methods.

  • 최근 미니홈피, 블로그 등의 개인 홈페이지가 활성화되면서 개인의 생활 경험 정보를 기록으로 남기고자 하는 욕구가 증대되고 있다. 이와 같은 시도는 주로 영상이나 텍스트에 의존한 기록이 주를 이루고 있다. 정보 통신 기술의 급속한 발전은 디지털 라이프로그라는 개념으로 개인의 전반적인 일상 생활을 디지털 미디어로 기록해 두고자 하는 시도를 가능하게 하고 있다. 라이프 로그에서 저장되는 정보는 단순히 개인이 보고 듣는 정보뿐 아니라 개인의 주변상황 및 신체상태 등 그 다양성이 더욱 커질 수 있다. 이러한 다양한 정보를 개인의 실생활에서 수집하기 위해 개인이 일상 생활에서 사용하는 사물에 정보 수집 및 처리 기능을 부가하자는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 고에서는 이와 같이 지능화된 사물을 지능형 가젯(gadget)이라 부른다. 지능형 가젯은 단순한 사용자의 개인 생활 정보를 수집하는 수단 외에도 가젯들 간의 상호 정보 교환으로 사용자의 현재 상황 정보를 인지할 수 있으며 라이프 로그가 저장된 서버와의 정보 교환으로 사용자의 과거 경험 정보로부터 사용자의 의도나 취향을 분석할 수 있다. 이러한 정보를 활용하여 사용자에게 가장 적합하고 특화된 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 환경을 구현할 수 있다. 본 고에서는 이를 위한 기본이 되는 라이프 로그 서비스를 위한 지능형 가젯의 각 구성 모듈인 지능형 가젯 플랫폼, 지능형 가젯 네트워크, 그리고 지능형가젯 미들웨어의 기술 동향과 라이프 로그 서비스의 연구 사례에 대해 살펴본다.

  • Internet based on web service is growing rapidly and the effort to standardize the next generation web is world-widely being made. When the web was developed for the first time, HTTP, HTML, and URL were designed based on the structure of text background. Through those, asynchronous search and simple, unified expression patterns have been used. But recently many data on internet are becoming complicated. Consequently new structure and expression patterns including synchronous multimedia information are requested. The currently used standard language among user interface domain of W3C is SMIL which is XML-based one. SMIL describes where and how long the multimedia factors are integrated on the web. In this paper the standardization trend and important issues related to SMIL are reviewed and analyzed. Also the development of technology is discussed.

  • E-Learning is a modern main teaching method starting from the concept of remote education. This research is aimed for proposing cyber lecture library system and designing a cyber lecture component that becomes a basis for e-Learning system Cyber lecture library is a storage system of cyber lectures that can supply high quality data to the needed developers. Component consists of 5 categories and those are text voice, image, animation, and flash. By using this system the developers can save the necessary time and effort in education development. This system also helps students. The students can access various lecture data on a given subject and select the best fit for them.

A Study on the Effects of Teleservice on Travel Demand (텔레서비스가 교통수요에 미치는 영향)

  • This Paper focuses on analyzing the influences of Teleservice on travel behavior and trip demand based on the individual behavior model. The first step is to classify individuals into different Person groups who will follow similar behavior Patterns in terms of travel and communication. And then, the effect of Teleservice on trip demand is estimated using hypothetical scenario. The results on the ability of each person group to adapt themselves to Teleservice show that full-time housekeepers and senior citizens are more likely to be alienated. It is also found that transition probability to Teleservice is high for activities in bank or public office where simple forms of information such as data or text are exchanged. On that basis, it is estimated that in Seoul the savings on trip demand by Teleservice will be 7.6% of total daily trip generations.

  • 시간정보추출 연구는 자연어 문장으로부터 대화의 문맥과 상황을 파악하고 사용자의 의도에 적합한 서비스를 제공하는데 중요한 역할을 하지만, 한국어의 고유한 언어적 특성으로 인해 한국어 텍스트에서는 개체간의 시간관계를 정확하게 인식하기 어려운 경향이 있다. 특히, 시간표현이나 사건에 대한 상대적인 시간관계는 시간 문맥을 체계적으로 파악하기 위해 중요한 개념이다. 본 논문에서는 한국어 자연어 문장에서 상대적인 시간표현과 사건 간의 관계를 추출하기 위한 LSTM(long short-term memory) 기반의 상대시간관계 추출 모델을 제안한다. 시간정보추출 연구에는 TIMEX3, EVENT, TLINK 추출의 세 가지 과정이 포함되지만, 본 논문에서는 특정 문장에 대해서 이미 추출된 TIMEX3 및 EVENT 개체를 제공하고 상대시간관계 TLINK를 추출하는 것만을 목표로 한다. 또한, 사람이 직접 태깅한 한국어 시간정보 주석 말뭉치를 대상으로 LSTM 기반 제안모델들의 상대적 시간관계 추출 성능을 비교한다.
