A Study on the Activation of Taxi-Reduction Program by Analyzing Preference of Taxi Operators and Workers (택시운수 경영자 및 종사자 선호 분석을 활용한 택시감차활성화에 대한 연구)

  • At present, Busan City has proposed various taxi industry development measures, but fundamentally there is a problem that the taxi supply is excessive compared to the demand. Therefore, this study tried to explore ways to activate the taxi reduction. We first identified problems with the taxi reduction program in Busan, and analyze thoughts of taxi operators and workers. As a result, difficulties in securing funding and lack of consent from a large number of stakeholders were identified as the first problem for current taxi reduction program. Second, both groups recognize the need for the taxi reduction, and taxi drivers are more willing to participate in the program. Third, the most important factor in determining to take the taxi reduction program was the amount of compensation. And to activate taxi reduction program, it is helpful for executives to improve their management conditions and for drivers to place reemployment.

A Study on the Demand of Taxi Transfer Discount Using Ordinal Logistic Model (순서형 로짓 모형을 활용한 택시환승할인수요에 관한 고찰)

  • Busan city implemented 'taxi transfer discount system' since October 2017 in order to create for new demand taxis. However, due to the low transfer discount amount and limited payment method to prepaid cards, it is difficult to attain the aim. In this study, we investigated the usage status of taxi transfer discount system and the intention to use taxi transfer discount system according to the discount amount level. We established a model of intention to estimate demand of taxi transfer discount using ordinal logistic model. The results of analysis are as following. The critical reason for low usage was to limit taxi transfer discount payment methods to prepaid cards other than post-paid cards which is used for most transportation payment. It was found that the discount rate for taxi transfers was affected in order of payment method, the purpose of the travel, major transportation, frequency taxi use, age, transportation costs, and the discount of taxi transfers. Also, the taxi transfer discount could be expected to increase to 1,550 won based on the price elasticity of demand due to changes in taxi transfer discount rate.

  • This study explores the factors which affect user acceptance for Robo Taxi, an electricity-based Autonomous Vehicles based on a Value based Adoption Model. The three main factors of benefit (usefulness and enjoyment), sacrifice (technicality and perceived fee level), and user experience about mobility services such as car sharing, taxi, and autonomous vehicles, were finally selected as independent variables as a influential factors on perceived values and adoption intention of Robo taxi. The study found that usefulness, enjoyment, and perceived fee had a significant effects on adoption intention, and some user experiences had a significant effect on benefit factors. This study has important implications for incorporating the Value-based Adoption Model results into the service design for the activation of Robo taxi, and furthermore, they can provide a theoretical basis for effective use of the research findings.

An Analysis on Indicators of Water Taxi User Service in Seoul Using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) (중요도-만족도 분석을 활용한 서울시 수상택시 이용자 서비스지표 분석)

  • Since October 11th, 2007, water taxi service in Han River has been operated for commuting and sightseeing. However, it is less popularized than expected because of economical problem and accessibility. Therefore, this paper develops service estimation items for water taxi based upon literature review on public transportation. It also conducts survey questionnaire and IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) Analysis to analyze service characteristics of water taxi users and provide several implications. The results are follows: First, economical problem should be solved out as showed in the 'main improvement' item. Second, accessibility, informativeness and convenience in the 'required improvement' item, and security and punctuality in the 'keep up the good work' item are presented. Third, kindness and soundness are showed in the 'the maintenance of current situation' item. All in all, if municipal considers economical problem, accessibility, informativeness, and convenience as it improves water tax service, it will make it possible to attract more water taxi users.

Structural and Functional Changes of Hippocampus in Long Life Experienced Taxi Driver (오랜 운전경험을 가진 택시운전기사들의 해마의 구조와 기능적 변화에 대한 MRI연구)

  • Purpose : The objective of this study was to investigate the differences of hippocampal volume and shape as well as the functional change between long life experienced taxi drivers and controls of Korean population. Materials and Methods: Three-dimensional T1-weighted images and blood oxygen level dependent functional MRI(fMRI) were obtained from 8 subjects, consisting of 4 experienced (20-30 years) taxi drivers and 4 age-matched controls. The hippocampal volume and shape were analyzed with three-dimensional T1-weighted images. In addition, neuronal activities of brain were analyzed using a blood oxygen level dependent fMRI between the two groups. Results: The hippocampal volume showed no statistically significant difference between the two groups (p > 0.05). The left hippocampi of the taxi drivers were slightly elongated with larger head and tail portions than those of the controls (p < 0.05, uncorrected). For the functional MRI, fusiform gyrus was specifically activated in taxi drivers, compared with the control group. Conclusion: The structural and functional changes of taxi driver's hippocampus indicate the functional differentiation as a result of occupational dependence on spatial navigation. In other words, the continuous usage of spatial navigation performance may diminish degeneration of hippocampus and the related brain regions.

RPE-UHVCVD법을 이용한 사파이어 기판의 저온 질화공정과 후속성장된 GaN에피 텍시 층에 미치는 영향

  • GaN 에피택시 층의 전기적, 광학적 특성 및 표면 형상의 향상을 위한 전처리 공 정으로서 사파이어 기판의 질화 처리가 많이 행해지고 있는데 이는 표면에 질화 충올 형성시킴으로서 GaN 충과의 계면에너지 및 격자상수 불일치를 줄여 GaN 충의 성장을 촉진시킬 수 있기 때문이다 본 실험에서는 고 진공 하에서 유도 결합 플라즈마를 이용하여 사파이어 기판의 질화 처리를 행한 후 XPS와 AFM을 이용하여 기판 표면의 질소 조성과 표면 형상을 관찰하였다. 기판 표면의 질소 조성은 질소 가스의 유입량과 기판의 온도보다 칠화 시 간 및 RF-power에 의해 크게 좌우되나 표면 형상은 기판의 온도에 크게 영향올 받는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 실험에서는 기판의 온도를 낮춤으로서 protrusion이 없는 매끈한 표면의 질화 충을 얻올 수 있었다. 핵생성 충의 성장 없이 450 oC의 저온에서 GaN 충올 성장시킨 결과 육방 대청성 의 wurtzite구조를 가지며 bas허 plane이 사파이어 기판과 in-plane에서 300 회전된 관계 를 갖고 있는 것올 XRD -scan으로 관찰하였다. 또한 GaN 충의 성장이 진행됩에 따라 결정성이 향상되고 있는 것이 뼈S ali맹ed channeling 실험올 통해 관찰되었으며 이는 G GaN 충의 두께 중가에 따라 결정성이 향상된다는 것올 의미한다 사파이어 기판의 질 화 처 리 시 간이 증가함에 따라 후속 성 장된 GaN 층의 bas외 pI뻐e에 대 한 XRD -rocking c curve의 반치폭이 감소하는 것으로 나타났는데 이는 기판의 표면이 질화 충으로 전환 됨에 따라 각 GaN island의 c-축이 잘 정렬됨올 의미한다. 또한 AFM으로 ~이 충의 표 면 형상올 관찰한 결과 기판의 질화 처리가 선행될 경우 lateral 방향으로의 G뼈 충의 성장이 촉진되어 큰 islands로 성장이 일어나는 것으로 관찰되었는데 이는 질화 처리가 선행될 경우 Ga과 N의 표면 확산에 대한 활성화 에너지가 감소되기 때문인 것으로 생 각된다 일반적으로 GaN 에피택시 충의 결정성의 향상과 lateral 생장올 도모하기 위하여 성장 온도를 증가시키지만 본 실험에서는 낮은 성장 온도에서도 결정성의 향상 및 l later빼 성장을 촉진시킬 수 있었으며 이는 저온 성장법에 의한 고품위의 GaN 에피택시 충 성장에 대한 가능성올 제시하는 것이다.

  • 현재 코로나19의 여파로 아웃바운드 관광이 제한되고 있는 상황이지만 모빌리티 시장의 활성화로 인하여 안전하면서 방해받지 않는 프라이빗한 국내 여행의 수요가 증가하는 추세이다. 기존의 애플리케이션은 아직 수요자와 공급자 등의 시장 체계가 확립되지 않은 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하며 코로나19로 인하여 힘든 시간을 보내고 있는 사람들에게 힘이 되어줄 수 있는 택시 투어 통합 애플리케이션인 'TAXIO'를 개발하였다. 중장년층도 편리하게 이용 가능한 UI와 Firebase와 Google Places API, Google Maps API, Weather API를 이용하여 기존 애플리케이션보다 쉬운 접근이 가능하게 개발하였다.

Mode Choice Behavior Analysis of Commuter Feeder Passengers to Subway System (통근.통학자의 지하철 연계교통수단 선택행태분석)

  • When new subway lines are considered to construct in a large city, there is a need to establish the appropriate transfer systems between subway and other transit modes, so as to increase the use of subway system. In this study, a multi-nominal logit model is developed to analyze the travel characteristics and the mode choice of subway Passengers transferring to and from the buses, minibuses and taxi. These passengers represent a large Portion of transit Passengers in Pusan city It shows that the explanatory variables that affect Passengers\` mode choice are in order of OVIT(Out-of-Vehicle Travel Time), IVTT(In-Vehicle Travel Time), transit fare,. income, gender, and age in modeling. In particular, OVTT is shown to have more significant impact on the mode choice than IYTT due to the fact that transfer trip is involved only in a short distance. Variables associated with the travel costs, however, do have an insignificant impact on the mode choice. It shows that it would be a better Policy to improve the quality of transit service using additional financial resource by increasing transit fare rather than by reducing the fare to increase travel demand. It also shows that value of travel time of OVTT is remarkably higher than that of IVTT and value of travel time of taxi Passengers is much higher than that of minibus Passengers .

  • South Korea is making efforts to select a drone industry, a type of unmanned aerial vehicle, as one of the 7 major industries in the country, to select a drone-specific liberalization zone and to establish and revise a drone-related bill. Through these efforts, drone delivery and drone taxis are expected to be operated in the future. Therefore, a multilateral collision avoidance system with existing aircraft such as drones, fixed-wing and rotary-wing should be established to prepare for possible drone and air-borne collisions.

  • Car-sharing은 차량소유(Car ownership)의 대안으로서 개인이나 법인에게 차량을 한 시간의 짧은 단위로 이용하도록 하는 회원제 프로그램이다. 이는 차량을 보유하는 편리함 대신에 차량을 공동 이용함으로써 운영비용을 절감할 수 있다. 15년여 전 스위스에서 시작되어 현재는 유럽, 북미, 일본, 싱가포르 등에서 활성화되어 있고, 유럽에서는 대중교통과의 연계서비스까지도 실시하여 그 효과를 증대시키고 있다. 국내에서는 아직 기업의 수익성 사업으로 시도된 사례는 없으나 최근 서울 성산동 주민의 자발적인 참여로 6개 팀이 한 차량을 이용하는 형식으로 시도되어 이제 그 첫걸음을 떼고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Car-sharing에 대한 개념, 정의 및 택시나 렌터카 등 유사수단과의 비교, 그리고 해외에서 현재 운영 중인 Car-sharing 프로그램의 사례를 소개하고, Car-sharing 도입 시 발생하는 개인의 운영비용 절감뿐만이 아닌 차량통행 감소, 주차 수요 감소, 대중교통 이용률 증가, 오염물질 배출 저감, 교통 혼잡 감소 등 많은 종류의 사회적 편익을 국내 도입 시를 가정해 비용과 함께 개략적으로 추정, 편익-비용 분석을 통해 그 경제적인 효과를 검토하였다.
