The importance of WWW search services is increasing as Internet information resources explode. An evaluation of current 9 search services was first conducted by comparing descriptively the features concerning indexing, searching, and ranking of search results. Secondly, a couple of search queries were used to evaluate search performance of those services by the measures of retrieval effectiveness. the degree of overlap in searching sites, and the degree of similarity between services. In this experiment, Alta Vista, HotBot and Open Text Index showed better results for the retrieval effectiveness. The level of similarity among the 9 search services was extremely low.

본 연구는 아동의 탐색활동에 관한 연구에 지침이 되고 자극을 주고자, 또한 실제 지도에 있어 시사점을 발견하고자 이 분야에 관한 주요연구문헌을 고찰하였다. 그리하여 탐색활동을 놀이와 호기심과 비교하여 그 정의를 내리고 탐색활동의 기능과 특징, 그리고 이 활동에 영향을 주는 제 요인을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 아동의 탐색활동에 관한 연구자간의 의견차이를 보이는 것이나 연구공백이 있는 것이 여러부분이 됨이 드러났다. 즉 놀이와 탐색활동과의 구별, 탐색활동과 호기심과의 관계, 탐색활동의 동기, 상황에 따른 탐색활동의 유형변화, 탐색활동을 유발시키는 자극물의 특성-특히 공간적 특성, 탐색활동과 아동의 년령, 성별, 인지적 발달단계와의 관계, 그리고 탐색활동에 있어서의 개인차 등에 관해 더 많은 연구가 요구됨을 알 수 있었다. 특히, 아동의 탐색활동과 지적발달 또는 사회성 발달과의 관계나 아동의 발달과정에 따른 훈련이나 교육을 동한 탐색활동의 증진방안 등은 시사성 있는 중요한 연구테마로 보여진다. 또한 이 탐색활동에 관한 연구에서도 실험실에서 이루어진 연구가 자연적인 상황에 얼마나 일반화 될 수 있는지, 한 번의 관찰이나 실험이 계속적인 의미를 지닐 수 있는지에 대해 연구자들이 더욱 신중해야 할 필요성이 있음이 드러났다. 물론, 한 가지 이론이나 연구로서 탐색활동의 전부를 설명할 수는 없다. 유아교육자들이나 아동학자들은 아동이 그 자신의 환경에 적응하고, 사회적 유능성을 함양시키고, 진정한 의미에서의 지능발달에 중요한 것으로 드러난 이 아동의 탐색활동에 관해 더욱 관심을 가지고 여러 가지 이론과 연구를 빌어 연구나 실제 지도에 필요한 아이디어를 삼아야 할 것이다.

본 논문에서는 휴우리스틱 자원 시간 계획을 위한 새로운 탐색 알고리즘인 Strictly Enforced Hill-Climbing (SEHC)을 제안한다. 이 탐색 알고리즘은 FF 등의 계획기에 적용되어 매우 높은 효율성을 보인 Enforced Hill-Climbing (EHC)을 확장한 것이다. EHC는 목표를 찾아가는 과정 동안 매번 현재 상태에서 그 상태보다 더 낮은 휴우리스틱 값을 갖는 첫 번째 후손 상태를 찾아 넓이 우선 탐색을 펼치는 데 반해, 본 논문에서 제안하는 SEHC는 찾아진 첫 번째 후손 상태와 같은 깊이의 나머지 형제 상태들까지 탐색을 연장하여 최소의 휴우리스틱 값을 갖는 후손 상태를 찾아낸다. 이와 같은 SEHC 탐색방법은 매 주기마다 소량의 추가 탐색을 통해 탐색의 전체과정 동안 EHC 보다 우수한 탐색경로를 유지할 수 있도록 해준다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 영역의 계획문제를 대상으로 A* 알고리즘, EHC 알고리즘 등과의 비교실험을 통해 SEHC 알고리즘의 우수성을 알아본다.

도로네트워크 데이터는 교통 정보, 경로 안내서비스 등 실시간 정보제공을 위해 차량 항법용 데이터에서 가장 핵심적인 영역에 해당하며 효율적인 관리와 유지가 필수적이다. 기존 파일 기반 시스템인 미디어 포맷(KIWI, GDF 등)에서는 콤팩트한 데이터 구성으로 읽기 위주의 빠른 매체 접근 등에 좋은 이점이 있지만, 최근 모바일 시스템 환경에 DBMS를 활용한 위치 기반 서비스(LBS)에 대한 관심이 증가 하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 임베디드 DBMS를 이용하여 네트워크의 계층성을 지원하는 데이터 모델과 이를 활용한 탐색 알고리듬을 설계하고 프로토타입 시스템을 구현하였다. 특히 대규모 도로망의 원거리 탐색을 대상으로 메모리 구성과 탐색 시간 측면에서 일반 영역 탐색방법과 계층 탐색방법의 검색 결과를 비교하여 계층 탐색 방법의 효율성을 검증하였다.

In the anti-submarine warfare, a search using HMS is used as a basic strategy. The importance of HMS operation strategy is increasing, but it is hard to develop effective anti-submarine search strategy due to reciprocal actions among sea environments, search patterns, sonar operational tactics, anti-submarine search strategy, etc. In this research, a simulator was invented so as to analyze anti-submarine search patterns used when an HMS-carrying ship searches for submarine in various anti-submarine search environments. The simulator reflects various factors that influence anti-submarine search, and with consideration of search patterns of anti-submarine ships as well as evasive movement of submarines, it can simulate various anti-submarine search operations such as a collaborative anti-submarine operation by a single or multiple forces. Also, the simulator will contribute to developing and improving systematic and efficient HMS operational tactics in anti-submarine warfare.

머신러닝 및 인공지능 기술의 발전은 다양한 분야 활용되고 있고, 이는 보안 분야에서도 마찬가지로 로그 분석이나, 악성코드 탐지, 취약점 탐색 및 대응 등 다양한 분야에서 자동화를 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히 취약점 탐색 및 대응 분야의 경우 2016년 데프콘에서 진행된 CGC를 필두로 바이너리나 소스코드 내의 취약점을 정확하게 탐색하고 패치하기 위해 다양한 연구가 시도되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 취약점을 탐색 및 대응하기 위해 각 연구 별 탐색 기술과 대응 기술을 분류 및 분석한다.

The efficiency of the real-time route guidance system(RGS) depends largely on the quality of route search algorithms. In this paper, we implement the coarse grid method(CGM) in mathematical programming for finding a good quality route of real-time RGS in large-scale networks. The proposed CGM examines coarser and wider networks as the search phase proceeds, in stead of searching the whole network at once. Naturally, we can significantly reduce computational efforts in terms of search time and memory requirement. We demonstrate the practical effectiveness of the proposed CGM with nationwide real road network simulation.

This paper defines online search strategy as a global approach to the resolution of online searching. Five search strategy models including Brief Search. Building Blocks Strategies. Successive Facet Strategies, Successive Fractions Approach, and Citation Pearl Growing, are critically reviewed. Applicability and adaptability of each strategy are examined in the real concrete online searching environment.
