  • It was determined to effects on cold test(CT) and smoke point (SP) of deodorizing temperature(DT) in corn oil. Increase of DT was induced to decrease of CT in deodorized oil, which was against the winterized oil inleted. Especially, the decrease of CT in deodorized oil was sharply at more than 26$0^{\circ}C$, this phenomenon was supposed to according the increase of total saturation degree as well as SU2, S2U, and S3 type triglyceride content. On the other hand, SP was showed the highest value as 242$^{\circ}C$ at DT as 24$0^{\circ}C$, the value was decreased to 235~238$^{\circ}C$ at DT as 245~27$0^{\circ}C$. This phenomenon was appeared in inverse proportion to the acid value of sample oils. Accordingly, high temperature deodorizing proved to be a very undesirable effect between general physicochemical characteristics, fatty acid composition and CT, SP etc.

Removal of Malodorous Gases Emitted from a Wastewater Pumping Stations by Biological Methods (생물학적 방법에 의한 하수 중계펌프장의 악취제거)

  • To select a promising technologies for removal of odorous gases emitted from a wastewater pump station, four methods such as activated carbon (A/C) adsorption, chemical absorption (acid and alkali scrubber), and two biofilters (polyurethane (PU) and worm cast) were investigated. The average odor removal efficiencies in the PU biofilter and A/C column was over 98%, but in a worm cast biofilter and chemical absorption were below 60-80%. The removal efficiency of PU biofilter was very stable (about 98-99%) in the range of retention times of 4-36s, and a maximum elimination capacity was $1.6${\times}$10^{ 7}$ $OUm^{-3}$$h^{-1}$ Deodorization costs for an activated carbon adsorption and a biofiltration method were investigated. With increasing odor intensity, the operating cost of the A/C column increased linearly, but the operating cost of the biofilteration increased slightly. The capital cost in a biofilter is about two times higher than that in an A/C column, but the operating cost is very lower than that of in A/C column. In conclusion, the biofiltration was evaluated one of the most promising technologies to control odor in a wastewater pump station.

  • 사회가 고도로 발달하면서 현대인의 생활공간은 대부분 사무실이나 가정에서 보내는 시간이 하루의 80-90% 이상을 차지하므로 오히려 실외공기보다 실내환경의 공기오염이 수백 배 높은 실정이다1). 대부분의 시간을 특정공간에서 보내게 되므로 현대인의 건강과 편리함을 위해 실내공간에 설치되는 탈취제품(공기 청정기)이 많이 상품화 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 암모니아(NH$_3$), 트리메틸아민(($CH_3$)$_3$N), 초산($CH_3$COOH), 황화수소(H$_2$S), 메칠멀켑탄($CH_3$SH), 황화메틸 ($CH_3$S$CH_3$), 이황화메틸($CH_3$SS$CH_3$), 아세트알데히드($CH_3$CHO), styrene(C$_{8}$H$_{8}$)등 9종의 악취물질을 대상으로 탈취제품의 객관적인 탈취 능력 평가를 위한 시험방법을 개발하고자 하였다.(중략)

  • 악의적 목적을 가진 Hacker는 Google의 검색 기능과 키워드 사용을 이용해 인터넷 상에 존재하는 개인정보를 탈취하거나 웹페이지의 취약성, 해킹 대상에 대한 정보들을 수집할 수 있다. Google의 검색 결과 인터넷에서는 수많은 개인정보가 검색되고, 이중에는 타인에게 노출되지 않아야 하는 개인의 이력서, 기업의 기밀자료, 관리자의 ID, Password 등도 인터넷 상에서 보안되지 않은 상태로 존재하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Google을 이용한 정보검색과 정보탈취에 대해 연구하고, 개인 탈취 정보를 이용한 침해사고와 포렌식 자료 생성에 관한 기술과 보안방안을 제안한다. 본 논문 연구를 통하여 인터넷 검색 결과에 대한 보안 취약성 보완의 기술 발전과 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

Coffee Deodorization with Supercritical Carbon Dioxide (초임계 이산화탄소를 이용한 커피의 탈취)

  • Supercritical carbon dioxide was used to remove coffee odors. The odor removal efficiency was tested with coffee drink prepared by the espresso extraction method. Five typical odors in coffee were analyzed with GC and these odors in deodorized coffee were compared to those in control. Supercritical carbon dioxide extraction conditions were optimized as 350 bar and 70$^{\circ}C$ because the solvating power of supercritical fluid is depend on the density which is determined by temperature and pressure. A modified head space method was applied to collect coffee odors in coffee drink prepared by the espresso extraction method. Odors generated in coffee drink made with deodorized coffee powder were reduced by 73% in total mass of typical five coffee odors.

Effects of Steam Sources and Glycerol on the Storage Stability of Fish Oil (탈취공정 중 steam source의 조절과 glycerol 첨가가 어유의 저장안정성에 미치는 영향)

  • Sardine oil was vacuum-steam deodorized at $170^{\circ}C$ with acid (acetic and citric acid) and ethanol solution as steam sources. Glycerol was added to fish oil to remove volatile odorous constituents. The storage stability of deodorized fish oil was determined by totox value, secondary parameter obtained from peroxide and anisidine values. Both deodorization with acetic acid solution and addition of glycerol to the oil resulted in improved storage stability. The totox values of fish oil deodorized with water, glycerol+water and glycerol+acetic acid solution were 936, 611, and 443, respectively after 10 days at $30^{\circ}C$. The result showed that acetic acid seemed to destroy the odorous constituents and glycerol accelerated the removal of odorous constituents, such as amines in fish oil.

  • We carried out separation and guantitation of flavor components by GC about essential oils extracted from deodorized corn oil at the different deodorizing temperature. Flavor components were detected total 16 kinds included aldehydes of 8 kinds, major components were propane, pentane, hexanal etc. These major components content was about 70~75% of the total flavor components. According to rise of deodorizing temperature, both ethane and aldehydes of 8 kinds content were in proportion to increase, but propane, pentane, hexane, octan, pentyl furan content were decreased by contraries, respectively. On the other hand, total flavor component content was appeared the lowest level at 245$^{\circ}C$ treating group, aldehydes content was in proportion to increase according to rise of deodorizing temperature. These phenomenons consider that the undesirable reactions such as partial auto-oxidation, degradation, polymerization and hydrolysis etc. by effecting factors of stripping steam and vacuum degree. Conclusively, deodorizing temperature under high temperature was undesirable for the minimization of off-flavor materials.

  • The infrastructure of the country and society is connected to cyberspace. Malicious codes that steal financial information from websites such as plastic surgeons, dentists, and hospitals that are confirmed as IP in Daegu South Korea area are spreading In particular, financial information is an important privacy target. Takeover of financial information leads to personal financial loss. In this paper, we analyze the recent pharming malicious code that takes financial information. Attack files with social engineering methods are spread as executables in the banner, disguised as downloaders. When the user selects the banner, the attack file infects the PC with malicious code to the user. The infected PC takes users to the farming site and seizes financial information and personal security card information. The fraudulent financial information causes a financial loss to the user. The research in this paper will contribute to secure financial security.
