  • 전문기관들의 장기 유가전망치를 바탕으로 타 발전용 연료의 장기가격 예측 가능성을 엿보기 위해, 유가와 타 발전용 연료간 상관관계를 분석해 본 결과 유가와 LNG가격은 상당한 유의성을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타난 반면, 타 전원과는 유의성이 미약한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 엑셀 회귀분석을 통해 도출된 유가와 LNG 가격간의 상관식을 이용하여 LNG장기가격을 전망하는 것은 가능하다고 판단되나 결과치를 활용하기 위해서는 보다 정밀한 검증이 요구된다.

  • 석유위기에 의하여 가장 통봉을 맞은 제품의 하나로 타이어를 들수가 있을것 같다. 그러나 자동차메이커, 수요자측에는 "어째서 타이어가 이렇게도 석유의 직격을 맞는지 모르겠다."고 하는 소리도 있다. 아뭏든 한때는 타이어는 비석유제품인 천연고무와 선으로 부터 되어 있었다. 그러나 현재의 타이어 원료는 그 70%가 석유제품으로부터 만들어지고 있다. 금번의 석유 위기에 의해서 타이어가 직격된 것도 이 때문이다. 타이어도 적시 "유상의 누각"을 달리고 있었다.……라고 해야할까. 여하튼 타이어가 어떠한 구조로 석유와 연결되어 있는가를 새삼 인식해보자.

Sensory Evaluation of Quality and Constructability of Cement Mortar for Tile Direct Setting Method Depending on Mix Proportions (타일 떠붙임 시멘트 모르타르의 배합비 변화에 따른 품질 특성 및 시공성에 대한 관능 평가)

  • The aim of the research is providing a fundamental data on quality and constructability of direct tile setting method depending on various cement to sand ratio for tiling dry cement mortar. A large number of tile setting failures reported is related with the cement mortar and its construction for tiling. Because of different materials of tiles, the properties of tiling dry cement mortar, an adhesive for tiling, can influence on quality and constructability of tiling differently. Practically, the easiest way of controlling the properties of the tiling dry cement mortar is to control the proportion of cement and sand. Hence, in this research, sand to cement ratio (S/C) was controlled. Since there is no standarized method on evaluating performance of dry cement mortar for tiling, a several sensory evaluation methods were suggested and executed. According to the experiments conducted in this research, the adhesive performance of cement mortar for tiles can be different depending on the sides such as tile and substrate. Additionally, depending on S/C, finishability, initial adhesive performance, and tile shifting resistance can be changed for ceramic tile. Therefore, under the conditions of this research, about 5 of S/C can be recommended for appropriate performace of tiling dry cement mortar.

Experimental Study of Wave-Absorbing Performance by Horizontal Punching Plates (수평형 타공판에 의한 소파성능의 실험적 연구)

  • Wave absorbing system is needed at various kinds of wave basins (wave flume, towing tank, square tank) for the model test related to the ocean engineering. In this paper, the performance of wave absorbing system with new concept is estimated throughout the experiments. Herein, the wave absorbing system is designed by punching plate with a given porosity which is installed horizontally and submerged near the water surface. As the incident wave generated by a wave maker advances above a punching plate, the strong jet flow is formed near a hole of punching plate. As a result, wave energy is dissipated into heat energy, Systematic model tests were conducted at KRISO to verify the performance of the wave absorber using a punching plate. It was found that the reflection coefficient of wave absorber is deeply dependent on both the porosity and the submerged depth of a punching plate. Inclined installation of a punching plate shows better performance than a horizontal one within a certain inclined angle.

The Effects of Rudder Size on Characteristics of Fluid Flow around Ship's Stern in Manoeuvring Motion (타의 크기가 조종운동시 선미 유동 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • It is well known that, especially in the case of full-bodied ship, the course stability may become the severest among 4 items of requirement in Interim Standards for Ship Manoeuvrability adopted by IMO in 1993. The purpose of this study is to find some ideas for characteristics of fluid flow pattern around ship's stern in manoeuvring motion with parameter of changes in rudder size. We carried out two kinds of model experiment in obliquely running condition at circulating water channel. One is measurement on straightening effect of incoming flow to rudder and the other is experiment on flow visualization around the gap between rudder and stern-bottom. We discuss the correlation between the flow characteristics around ship's stem and flow straightening effect at rudder from the viewpoint of course stability. As a result, it is clarified that the gap between rudder and stern-bottom plays an important role in course stability of full-bodied ship. It is pointed out that there is quite a possibility of bad course stability as the gap between rudder and stern-bottom decreases.

Analysis of Success Factors for Effective Stroke of Golf Beginners (골프 입문자들의 유효타에 대한 성공요인 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the variables affecting the effective stroke in the swing performed through 12 weeks of training for golf beginners, and to provide basic data on the effective stroke factors for the golf beginners to settle on the fairway. Twenty subjects were participate in the study (age: 21.35±1.69 yrs, height: 176.75±7.99 cm, weight: 70.70±9.76 kg). All subjects were subjected to a 12-week golf training, and trackman 4 was used in the 12th week to calculate variables affecting the effective stroke during a golf swing. Trackman data was divided into club-variables and ball-variables, and a binary logistic regression analysis was performed to find out the variables affecting effective strokes. In club-variables, high dynamic loft and low face angles were found in effective stroke, and in ball-variables, fast ball speed, large smash factor, high launch angle, and many spin rates were also found in effective stroke. As a result of the binary logistic regression analysis of club-variables, the probability of an effective stroke increased as the club speed and dynamic loft increased, and the probability of an effective stroke decreased as the face angle increased. The influence of effective stroke in the club-variables was in the order of dynamic loft, face angle, and club speed. In the ball-variable, the probability of an effective stroke increased when the lunch angle increased, and the probability of an effective stroke decreased as the lunch direction increased. As a condition to increase the probability of effective stroke based on the results, it is necessary to increase the club speed through high dynamic loft and low face angle during swing through continuous practice. Through this, the probability of effective stroke through increasing the launch angle and decreasing the launch direction will increase.

  • 일반적으로 산업체에서 사용되는 전압형 PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) 인버터는 2개의 스위칭 소자가 직렬 연결된 단상하프 브릿지 회로를 기본 회로로 사용한다. 보통 극(pole), 암(arm) 또는 레그(leg)라 불리며 상보적으로 스위칭한다. 하지만 게이팅 신호 전달의 시지연과 스위치의 온-오프 시간차이에 의해 두 스위치가 동시에 켜지는 단락 사고를 방지하기 위해 데드 타임을 사용한다. 데드 타임은 직렬 연결된 두 스위치를 동시에 끔으로써 인버터의 안정적인 동작을 보장하지만 인버터 출력 전압 제어가 불가능하여 전압 및 전류 왜곡과 소음, 진동을 야기한다. 본 논문에서는 데드 타임 보상을 위한 적절한 전압 선정 방법에 대해 알아본다. 데드 타임 보상 전압 선정을 위해 부하 전류의 6고조파 성분을 추출, 비교하여 적절한 데드 타임 보상 전압을 선정하였으며 실험을 통해 그 유효성을 검증하였다.

  • 최근 360 미디어 콘텐츠의 수요가 높아지면서 360 영상을 효율적으로 전송하기 위한 다양한 압축 및 전송 기법들이 연구되고 있다. 360 영상의 스트리밍 기법 중 하나인 타일 기반 적응적 스트리밍 기법은 360 비디오를 타일 그리드로 나누어 부호화 하고, 뷰포트(Viewport)에 해당하는 타일만 스트리밍 할 수 있도록 한다. 기존의 타일 기반 스트리밍 기법은 뷰포트가 전환될 때 서버에 새로운 인트라 프레임을 요구하고, 지연 시간을 줄이기 위해 빈번한 RAP(Random Access Point)가 요구된다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문은 기존의 타일 기반 스트리밍 방법에서 인트라 프레임의 공유를 통해 비트율의 효율을 높이는 IFS(Intra Frame Sharing) 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 IFS 방법은 낮은 화질의 인트라 프레임을 높은 화질의 인트라 프레임 부호화 시 공유하여, 뷰포트 스위칭 시점에서 다른 화질 간의 뷰포트 전환 작업이 필요 없어 비트율의 증가를 최소화한다. 실험에서, IFS 방법은 기존의 MCTS 기반의 적응적 스트리밍 방식과 비교했을 때 BD-rate(%)가 약 13% 절감되었다.
