Implement for EzPlay and PC-EPG of Multimedia Remote Control System (EzPlay/EPG를 적용한 멀티미디어 원격제어 시스템 구현)

  • In this paper, we implement the multimedia remote control system by using existing internet service or wired online. We also provide user-friendly convenient environment with developed application program named EzPlay and PC-EPG. The multimedia remote control system consists of integrated wireless transceiver of PC and TV connected USB type and the users can easily use lots of contents because EzPlay program provides appropriate UI mode on the PC and TV screen. The unposed system can operate real-time playing, reserved video receding and data storing function using internet mesh based on signal detecting control theory. The PC-EPG system is implemented by server/client web program and the client program based on visual C++/MFC processes data storing in client computer through TCP/IP. It also provides intelligent function that constructs database according to user's preference.

  • 최근 북한은 단거리탄도탄을 포함한 미사일 발사 시험을 수차례 수행했다. 사거리 증가 뿐만 아니라 발사지점 예측 교란을 위한 발사방법의 다변화 및 요격 난이도 상승을 위한 미사일 회피 기동 등 다양한 시도로 점점 탄도탄 요격이 어렵도록 하고 있는 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 클라이언트-서버와 REST 아키텍처를 이용하여 확장성이 높고 신뢰성 있는 요격체계 콘솔을 제안한다. 이를 통해 제한된 탄도탄 요격 가능 시간 내 효과적인 전상상황 가시화를 통해 운용자의 작전결심을 도와 실패없는 탄도탄 요격이 가능하도록 할 수 있고, 확장 가능성을 바탕으로 다수의 타격 체계의 중앙제어를 위한 원격제어 및 무인화를 위한 초석으로 삼을 수도 있을 것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 한정된 미디어 서버 자원을 할당하고자 할 때 고객의 실적에 따라 차등적으로 자원을 할당함으로써 고객의 서비스 품질에 대한 만족도를 제어하고자 하는 시도를 하였다. 또한 클라이언트­서버 환경하에서 발생하는 네트워크의 지연을 감소시키고자 에이전트 개념을 적용한 고객 등급별 QoS 제어 알고리즘을 제안하였다.

  • Recent technological advances in utilization and generalization of Internet have overcome some of the limitations of remote robot control range and real-time monitoring system. However, It needs Embedded system with control protocol or hardware which has avility to port the micro realtime operating system in robot control system communicate with remote controlled robot, because those system use the wireless LAM or Bluetooth as a network media. In this paper, we design and implement the wireless MODEM protocol and install it to the server system. Also, we implement a client system could control the remote robot through the server and we assure that this protocol and client/server system ate suitable for small size remote control system based on Internet.

A Detection-based Cache Consistency Algorithm using Dynamic Update in Client-Server Environments (클라이언트-서버 환경에서 동적 갱신을 이용한 탐지기반의 캐쉬 일관성 알고리즘)

  • In client-solver environments, clients can execute applications without contact a server by storing data in its cache. To guarantee correction of applications, we need a cache consistency algorithm. Many cache consistency algorithms have been proposed, these were categorized by detection-based and avoidance-based algorithms. In this paper, we propose a new detection-based cache consistency algorithm that can reduce a burden of a client that has poor resource compare with a server Our method controls concurrency of transactions using timestamp ordering and updates a cache dynamically. In addition to we show that our method maintains a one-copy serializability.

Concurrency Control and Consistency Maintenance of Cached Spatial Data in Client-Server Environment (클라이언트-서버 환경에서 캐쉬된 공간 데이터의 동시성 제어 및 일관성 유지 기법)

  • In a client-server spatial database, it is desirable to maintain the cached data in a client side to minimize the communication overhead across a network. This paper deals with the issues of concurrency and consistency of map updates in this environment. A client transaction to update map data is an interactive work and takes a long time to complete it. The map update in a client site may affect the other sites'updates because of dependencies between spatial data stored at different sites. The concurrent updates should be propagated to the other clients as well as the server to keep the consistency of map replicated in a client cache, and also the communication overhead of the update propagation should be minimized not to lose the benefit of caching. The newly proposed cache region locking with CR lock and CX lock controls the update dependency due to spatial relationships. CS lock and COD lock are suggested to use optimistic detection-based approaches for guaranteeing the consistency of cached client data. The cooperative update protocol uses these extended locking primitives and Spatial Relationship-based 2PC (SR-based 2PC). This paper argues that the concurrent updates of cached client spatial data can be achieved by deciding on collaborative updates or independent updates based on spatial relationships.

  • As demands intending to treat an access control on a client side that was conventionally controlled at a server are surged. it needs a way to treat query processing in effective and secure manners in an environment that has limited resources. Because the access control having been previously performed was only focused on safety, there was little effort to consider the access control in terms of efficiency. Researches about security including access control are started as the security issues are cropped up in a recent stream environment. This paper proposes a method for efficient and secure query processing of XML data streams like a PDA and a portable terminal at the client that is in limited resources. Specifically, this study suggests (1) an access control processing that possesses small overhead for attaining a secure result in a limited memory and (2) a way to enhance the performance, finding the parts being capable of optimizing in each processing step for offsetting the overhead caused by an addition of the access control processing. Superiority of the new method was analyzed by experiment.

  • Recently, lots of research activities have been carried out to provide advanced smart control functions applying a computer networking technology to telemeter/telecontrol systems. In this paper, we suggest client/server architecture with specially designed remote and local control software for applicant those to greenhouse model. The server system collects and integrates various datas related sensor or actuator, and stores in database maintaining high quality of remote I/O control operation. Where as the client system simply operation such as control panel on the internet web browser. Implemented system well communicate interactively both monitoring and control status of greenhouse including multimedia informations. In this study we also analyze the extent of the performance enhancement in terms of overall throughput and data transfer time effected by packet size.

  • This paper concerns the establishment of the Internet-based virtual laboratory (VL). In control engineering, it is required to evaluate the feasibility of a newly developed controller design technique by applying to a physical system. However, it is inefficient to make or build such a experimental apparatus in all research activities. A possible remedy is to share such a apparatus spatially via the Internet. We set up techniques for the remote -control of various experimental apparatuses based on the Internet. The proposed VL forms a server-client structure and is implemented in multi-control interfaces.

  • VoD(Video on Demand)나 IP 텔레폰, 화상채팅과 같은 멀티미디어 서비스는 일정한 대역폭의 자원을 요구하고 지터, 전송 지연에 매우 민감한 데이터이다. 멀티미디어 서비스의 QoS 보장과 TCP와 형평성을 위하여 TFRC, RAP, TLFC 와 같은 흐름제어 기법이 사용되고 있다. 하지만 흐름제어 기법에서 네트워크 판단을 위해서 사용하고 있는 RTT값은 서버와 클라이언트 사이의 왕복 전송 지연시간을 측정한 값으로써 클라이언트에서 서버로 전송되는 피드백 정보의 전송 지연시간에 따라서 오차가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 서버에서 클라이언트로 단방향으로 데이터가 전송되는 특징을 가진 스트리밍 서비스를 위하여 RTP/RTCP를 이용한 단방향 전송 지연 측정을 제안한다.
