  • As users' cross-over shopping behaviors become more popular, many studies have attempted to describe a theoretical mechanism in multichannel environments. Apart from explaining a simplified multichannel user behavior, relevant researchers must deeply understand the mechanism of users' cross-over shopping behavior, which cannot be discovered by employing either existing theories or traditional research methods. Thus, this study explores why, how, and when users conduct cross-over shopping behaviors in multichannel environments by employing a grounded theory approach. In this study, we have interviewed 25 participants who have prior experiences in cross-over shopping. By analyzing the interview manuscripts using the grounded theory approach, we have extracted 118 codes in the coding steps and ultimately presented 28 categories by incorporating similar concepts from those codes. In this qualitative grounded theory study, we have discussed why, how, and when users do cross-over shopping behavior based on our selected codes and categories as well as by listening to the stories of our interviewees. By grounding our proposed framework, which can capture both dynamic information search and purchasing behavior, this study provides an alternative research approach to explain user behavior, thereby bolstering our current understanding of the cross-over shopping behavior of users in multichannel environments.

  • With the expansion of various distribution channels in online and offline stores, TV, and mobile, consumers now have more information search and retail selection channels to choose from than ever before. Major retailers now use multi- and omni-channel strategies. This study focused on cross-channel consumption, which involves the use of different information search and purchase channels. Using cross-channel consumption, consumers can search for information online and then make purchases offline and vice versa. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between channel strategies and other consumer variables, and the study also assessed the effect of product type. To conduct this empirical study, the researchers developed a consumer questionnaire concerning three consumer channel strategies-on-on, cross, and off-off-and four product categories-clothing, cosmetics, books, and electronics. The results indicated that gender and marital status did not influence consumer channel strategies, but that age did have a significant influence. The analysis showed that consumers in their 40s preferred the cross channel strategy, perceiving it to be effective, satisfactory, and rewarding. Compared to other products, clothing products showed higher levels of cross channel strategies. Consumers indicated that they prefer searching for information online and then purchasing clothing offline. Overall, clothing products generated higher levels of channel satisfaction and channel switch intentions. Cross-channel clothing shoppers reported effective information retrieval times but longer delivery times.

  • This study illustrates factors that determine consumer types based on ways in which they alternate between online and offline channels for searching and eventually buying their desired products. This study conducted an online survey targeting 1,040 consumers. As per the study, consumer types fall into five groups: 1) on-on type(online search${\rightarrow}$online buying), 2) off-off type(offline search${\rightarrow}$offline buying), 3) on-off type(online search${\rightarrow}$offline buying), 4) off-on type(offline search${\rightarrow}$online buying), and, 5) on-off-on type(online search${\rightarrow}$ offline search${\rightarrow}$nline buying). The primary factors that determine how the different consumer types switch between online and offline channels are price orientation, convenience orientation,, risk-aversion orientation, and channel familiarity. Although they feel cross-channel shopping can be cumbersome, the findings show that cross-channel consumers would gladly switch channels to buy cheaper and proven products. The findings of this study will be useful for businesses that have both online and offline channels and point out the theoretical aspects of the decision-making process as consumers switch between channels.

  • In this paper, we proposed a new dynamic channel allocation algorithm for TD-SCDMA with cross time slots. In order to reduce the interference in cross time slot, the mobile stations (MSs) are divided into two groups: the Near Group consisting of MSs near by the base station(BS) and the Far Group including the MSs far from the BS. The reverse link for MSs in the Near Group and forward link for MSs in the Far Group are allocated to the cross time slot. In cellular systems, a BS has multiple neighbor BSs. Some of neighbor BSs can operate in the same direction link while the others have cross time slot. Thus, it is required to determine which BS has the most significant impact in terms of interference. We divide each cell into 6 areas based on the direction of arrival of smart antenna and the most significant neighbor sector is determined with this division. The proposed allocation method and area division method can avoid the severe interference in cross time slots and increase the system capacity about 2%~9% compared to FCA, and 0.5%~1.3% compared to RCA.

제안하는 방법은 실제 USRP(Universal Software Radio Peripheral)에 구현하여 성능의 향상을 검증한다.

  • This thesis deals with a method to deliver more realistic sound by cancelling the cross-talk which is inherent to the 5.1 channel speaker system. First, the cross-talk cancellation method that eliminates cross-talks on the path from left speaker to right ear and from right speaker to left ear is explained. Then the application and replaying method using the cross-talk cancellation explained here is introduced. The acoustical model for cross-talk cancellation is the free field model This model minimizes distortion of sound. Many experts also make studies on this model. I used the bark scale sound quality compensation based on psycho-acoustic. For the surround channels, band-limited sound quality compensation is performed in the frequency domain.

  • Most of the traditional spectrum sensing methods consider only the current detected data sets of Primary User (PU). However previous state of PU is a kind of conditional probability that strengthens the reliability of the detector. Therefore, in the cross entropy spectrum sensing method, relationship of the previous and current spectrum sensing is considered to detect PU signal more effectively. But these cross entropy spectrum sensing methods only consider the ideal system. In other words, PU always occupy the channel during the same period. However, PU can occupy the channel either for a longer or a shorter period than the ideal case in the real system. For this reason, the spectrum sensing performance can be varied. In this paper, we propose the method that can maintain the performance of spectrum sensing in the real system and we confirm the results with the help of simulation.

The acoustical model for cross-talk cancellation is the free field model. This model minimizes distortion of sound. I used the bark scale sound quality compensation which based on psycho-acoustic. I also performed the sound quality assessment test on the traditional 2 channel stereo and 5.1 channel system. This test is performed in the test chamber which satisfies the ITU-R specifications. I uses the IACC (Inter-Aural Cross-Correlation) to determine the preferences of the amateur and the golden ear experts to asses the trans-aural filter. According to the result from the proposed method, I got more the 38 dB separation rates with the Dolby standard speaker array. The results on the diffusion by the subjective test with the experts shows 0.4 point increased then before.
