Research on the Destination Selection Attributes among Japanese Tourists using IPA (일본관광객의 한국관광지 선택속성의 중요도-성취도 분석)

  • This research aims to provide fundamental data for tourism policy to attract Japanese tourists to Korea. Using Japanese tourists, this study estimated how much they thought destination selection attributes are important and how much these attributes were performed. Also, this study analyzed the ranking among each selection attributes using paired sample T-test. The results show "concentrate here" part is cleanliness and hygiene, employee's service, convenience of transport and scenery. This means that these attributes are very important but they indicate low performance. Concentration among tourism managers should be focused along these attributes.

  • This research is focused on the development of the proprietary database embedded in the OTT device, which is used for searching and indexing video contents, and also the development of the search algorithm in the form of the critical components of the interface application with the OTT's database to provide video query searching, such as remote control smartphone application. As the number of available channels has increased to anywhere from dozens to hundreds of channels, it has become increasingly difficult for the viewer to find programs they want to watch. To address this issue, content providers are now in need of methods to recommend programs catering to each viewer's preference. the present study aims provide of the algorithm which recommends contents of OTT program by analyzing personal watching pattern based on one's history.

Adaptive Interpolation for Intra Frames in H.264 Using Interference Function (H.264 인트라 프레임에서 방해함수를 이용한 적응적 보간)

  • Error Concealment method for Intra frames in H.264 reconstructs the lost block by computing weighted average value of the boundary pixels of the neighboring blocks; up, bottom, left and right blocks. However a simple average of pixel values of the neighboring blocks for Intra frames in H.264 leads to excessive blurring and degrades the picture quality severely. To solve this problem, in this paper we estimate the dominant edge of lost block using the pixel values of the neighboring blocks and reconstruct the pixel values by choosing adaptive interpolation between directional interpolation and weighted average interpolation considering the result value of the interference function based on statistics. Finally directional interpolation method improves by determining the dominant edge direction considering the relation of the dominent edge and the edges of neighboring blocks. Experiments show improvement of picture quality of about $0.5{\sim}2.0dB$ compared with the method of H.264.

Improvement of Retrieval Feedback Using Dynamic Interaction Function (동적 상호작용 함수를 애용한 검색 피드백의 개선)

  • The paper describes a method o( user feedback in order to enhance the retrieval system effectiveness. The existing fuzzification function adapting fuzzy technique has difficulty that 4 type graph is made each time user select components. In this paper, to overcome this weak point of feedback, we proposed the interaction function using gaussian function that gives different learning rate according to choice of components with same function. We suggest the most efficient dynamic interaction function based on comparison of retrieval performance according to parameter of function. And then, we will construct the efficient retrieval system.

  • 항공규제완화법과 더불어 항공 협정에 의한 자유경쟁 체제의 돌입과 함께 급성장한 항공운송시장에서 항공사간의 경쟁이 불가피해졌고 이에 각 항공사들은 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해 고객의 유치뿐만 아니라 경쟁사와의 차별화를 둔 새로운 경영 전략을 수립 및 추구해 나가고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 충성 고객 증진 및 그 보유 방안을 모색하기 위하여 국내 저비용항공사 이용 고객을 대상으로 항공사 선택 속성에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인들 중 가격, 서비스, 금전 가치, 감정가치, 만족, 신뢰 및 충성도라는 변수들에 대하여 실증 연구를 통한 분석으로 그 유의성을 알아보고자 한다. 가설 및 연구 모형 검증을 위해 SPSS와 AMOS 프로그램의 활용 및 빈도 분석, 요인 분석, 신뢰도 검정 그리고 공분산 구조 방정식 분석 등의 통계기법을 이용하고자 한다.

  • With the development of the semantic web, a large amount of data being produced nowadays is in RDF format. RDF is represented by a triple. An RDF database consisting of triples requires the high cost of join query processing. Materialized view is known as a scheme to reduce the query processing cost by accessing materialized views without accessing the database. It is physically stored the results or the intermediate results of the query processing in a storage area. In this paper, we propose a materialized view selection scheme by using decision tree to solve such a problem. The decision tree considers the size and maintenance costs of the materialized view as well as the profit of query response times. It is shown through performance evaluation that the proposed scheme increases the number of materialized views in the limited storage space and decreases the update rates of the materialized views.

  • The P2P technology is becoming a technology for receiving a service, such as the latest YouTube and Facebook. P2P technology can be easily downloaded to a large amount of multimedia content over a distributed environment. However, pictures, music, a large amount of multimedia content such as videos each user is unable to manage the content management operating smoothly because, Song communication processing overhead caused when the reception is likely to remain the problem. In this paper, we propose a convergence content management technique that provides a low communication overhead of the frequency of use of the convergence content when trying to provide a large amount of convergence content to users in a distributed environment. Our method can be used to select the appropriate frequency is high among the shared content on the P2P multimedia environments that are distributed across a frequency of use of the convergence content and provides the service. Experimental evaluation proposed method, the convergence content browsing speed than conventional techniques improved communication about 13.3% and reduced overhead to about 9.5%.

  • According to the scale of mobile applications has been expanded, the high coupled application combined mobile and web service are growing. The growth of mobile application's size means that predicting design for variability should be involved. If mobile application's change is occurred, application should be reinstalled totally. However this reinstallation can raise side-effects in case of high-coupling application. Therefore, this paper proposes a technique of customization for changing web service protocol as the mobile applications are connected with web service in android platform. Proposed protocol customization technique is consist of selection and plug-in technique.

  • In this paper, we have considered the performance improvement of Multi-Carrier DS-CDMA system using hybrid SC/MRC-Lc/L diversity receiving technique over multipath fading environment and compared with that of a Wideband DS-CDMA system. In the result, the PBI has caused a performance deterioration over partial bandwidth in Multi-Carrier DS-CDMA system. Also, Multi-Carrier DS-CDMA system using Hybrid SC/MRC-Lc/L diversity received can determined the complexity and the performance vs the expenses for the system that select the number of input branches.

  • MPEG-I(Immersive) 그룹에서는 몰입형 미디어 영상처리 표준화의 일환으로 마이크로렌즈를 통한 다시점 영상 처리 기술인 Dense Light Field에 대한 성능 탐색을 진행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG-I에서 정의된 라이트 필드 시퀀스에 대해 versatile video codec(VVC)에 대한 압축 성능 분석을 시행하였으며, 또한 렌즈렛(Lenslet) 형태의 특정적인 이미지 정보를 효율적으로 압축하기 위한 스크린 콘텐츠 코딩 툴의 효율 비교를 진행하였다. 또한 렌즈렛 영상에서의 화면 내 블록 카피(intra block copy) 기법이 선택되는 비율을 확인하고, 화면 내 블록 카피 기법을 통해 렌즈렛 영상이 효율적으로 압축될 수 있음을 보였다.
