코어 안정화 운동이 길랭바래증후군 환자의 몸통 근력, 근활성도 및 폐기능에 미치는 영향: 증례보고 (Effects of Core Stability Exercise on Strength, Activation of Trunk Muscles and Pulmonary Function in a Guillain-Barre Syndrome Patient: Case Report)

  • PURPOSE: This study examined the effects of core stability exercise on the strength, activation of the trunk muscle, and pulmonary function in a Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) patient. METHODS: A 38-year-old male with GBS was enrolled in the study. A core stability exercise program was implemented for four weeks with a duration of 30 min/day and a frequency of three days/week. The program consisted of abdominal crunch, Swiss ball crunch, bicycle crunch, medicine ball sit-up with a toss, medicine ball rotational chest pass, raised upper body and lower body, and dead bug. Measurements of the strength of the trunk muscle (trunk flexion and hip flexion), activation of trunk muscles (rectus femoris; RA, external oblique abdominal; EOA, internal oblique abdominal; IOA, erector spinae; ES), and pulmonary function (forced expiratory capacity; FVC, forced expiratory volume at one second; FEV1) were taken before and after four weeks of core stability exercise. RESULTS: The strength of trunk muscles increased in the trunk and hip flexion after four weeks of core stability exercise, respectively, compared to the baseline levels. Activation of the trunk muscles increased in RA, EOA, and IOA after four weeks of core stability exercise compared to baseline levels, but decreased in ES after four weeks of core stability exercise compared to the baseline levels. The pulmonary function increased in FVC and FEV1 after four weeks of core stability exercise compared to the baseline levels. CONCLUSION: These results suggest that core stability exercise improves strength, Activation of the trunk muscle, And pulmonary function in patients with GBS.

정적 플랭크 운동의 동작 별 효과성 차이 검증 -근전도 분석을 중심으로- (Verification of the Difference in Effectiveness of Static Plank Exercise by Motion -Focusing on EMG Analysis-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정적 플랭크 운동의 동작 차이에 따른 코어근육의 근활성도를 비교하는 것이었다. 본 연구의 대상자는 "J"대학교 20대 남성 10명을 대상으로 진행하였고(연령, 23.20±0.65 세; 신장, 174.54±1.51 cm; 체중, 70.00±2.24 kg; 신체질량지수, 22.94±0.51 kg/m2), 4가지의 풀, 엘보우, 사이드 및 리버스 정적 플랭크 동작을 수행하였으며, 근전도 분석을 위한 표면전극 부착 부위는 신체 근육의 우측복직근, 외복사근, 광배근 및 척추기립근으로 설정하였다. 본 실험 결과, 광배근과 척추기립근의 근활성도는 리버스 플랭크 동작 시 가장 높게 나타났고(p<.001), 복직근과 외복사근의 근활성도는 엘보우 플랭크 동작 시 가장 높게 나타났다(p<.001). 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 추후 정적 플랭크 동작 시 효과적인 운동 프로그램의 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

12주간 적용 가능한 코어, 신경근 훈련의 동적 안정성 효과 (Dynamic Stability Effect of Applicable Core and Neuromuscular Training for 12 Weeks)

  • Recently, core and neuromuscular training(CNT) is emerging as a clinically relevant tool to improve neuromuscular control and to prevent sports injuries. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of a 12 weeks CNT program on the dynamic stability after drop landing. The subjects attempted drop landing onto the force platform on single foot from a 40 cm height distance. The collected data was used to calculate the dynamic stability index. The Dynamic stability index was derived by measuring the medial-lateral stability index(MLSI), anterior-posterior stability index(APSI), and the vertical stability index(VSI). In comparison to the control group, the MLSI and APSI showed no difference, yet, it resulted in higher VSI. The results of this study suggest that CNT is worthwhile to be considered as a way to improve neuromuscular control and to prevent traumatic injuries. However, the results are taking into consideration to discuss the limitations of CNT and suggested future approaches.

모돈 행동 특성 분석을 위한 마이크로 클러스터링 기술 연구 (A Study on Micro Clustering Technology for Breeding Pig Behavior Analysis)

  • 모돈은 사육 특성상 제한된 파일롯 공간 안에 장시간 머물기 때문에 과중한 몸무게에 의한 지제 이상, 섭식 등의 불량, 수면상태의 불량 등을 지속적으로 관찰해야 하는 대상이다. 측면에 다수의 초음파 센서를 설치하여 기립의 상태 및 운동 시 몸체 궤적의 특성을 분석하여 종합적으로 모돈의 행동 특성을 정량화 하고자 하였다. 이 과정에서 계측 신호의 값을 대수적으로 비교하는 방식에 한계가 있음을 발견하였고, 이를 해결하고자 10 Hz/Ch 내외의 시계열 상대거리 궤적 신호를 주파수 도메인으로 변경하여 분석을 수행하였다. 일정 주파수에 집중되어 있는 주파수 값의 크기 변화(파워 스펙트럼 밀도)를 기준으로 모돈의 움직임의 정상 상태 유무 판별이 가능하였다. 단, 이러한 분석은 계측 데이터를 일괄 처리 방식으로 분석하는 방법으로 도출이 되었으므로, 계측과 정량 분석을 동시에 수행하기 위한 개선이 필요하였다. 계측 시스템에서 사용한 마이크로 프로세서는 Nucleo-446(STMelectronics, CA, USA)로 180 Mhz의 클럭 속도로 작동하나, 총 100 Hz 내외의 16비트 계측 신호에 대해 추가적으로 FFT 등의 주파수 변환 신호 처리를 수행하기에는 연산 능력이 부족하였다. 한편, 주파수 분석의 주기를 1분 단위로 할 경우 처리해야할 정보의 크기는 $100{\times}60{\times}5{\times}2Byte$ 이므로 1분 내에 해당 연산을 종료할 수 있는 추가의 연산 장치가 필요하였다. 계측과 주파수 도메인 변환 연산을 동시에 수행하기 위하여 1 Ghz의 연산능력을 가진 ARM A9 계열의 초소형 멀티코어 AP인 NanoPi Neo Air(Friendlyarm, Guangzhou, China)을 선정하였다. 4개의 코어를 각각 계측, Median 필터링, Smoothing 연산, FFT 분석에 사용하여 1분 단위, 2분 단위, 5분 단위의 주파수 분석을 동시에 수행하였다. 병렬 연산 라이브러리는 오픈 소스인 MPICH(www.mpich.org)를 이용하였다. 상대적으로 여유있는 자원을 보유하고 코어를 실시간으로 결정하여 다수의 모돈 개체 동시 모니터링을 위한 네트워크 연결 역할을 동시에 수행하도록 하였다. 1주일 내외의 요인 실험 수행 결과, 약 70 Mbyte의 데이터가 축적이 되었으며, 1분 단위, 2분 단위, 5분 단위의 주파수 도메인 변환 후 결과를 동시에 취득할 수 있었다. 일부 주파수 도메인 상의 파워 밀도 값이 모돈의 행동 특성에 분석에 유효한 정보를 제공함을 발견하였다. 모돈사 내 현장 보급이 가능한 초소형 AP와 멀티 코어 기반 병렬 처리 기법을 이용한 현장 진단 시스템 개발 연구를 지속적으로 수행할 것이다.

전신진동(Whole body vibration)운동훈련을 통한 육상 투척선수의 하지관절 근육 기능변화에 관한 분석 (Analysis on the Changes in Muscle Function of the Leg Joint in Athletics Athletes Through by Whole Body Vibration Exercise Training)

  • 본 연구는 투척 선수의 하지 훈련 자세를 이용한 전신진동 운동 훈련 시 근육 변화와 대칭 지수를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 20 대 10 명(남성 6명 여성 4명, 나이:24.60±0.92세, 신장:177.90±7.40cm, 체중:92.90±22.97kg)의 투척 선수를 대상으로 스쿼트, 카프 레이즈, 런지 동작으로 하지 훈련 자세를 이용한 전신진동 운동 훈련을 실시하였다. 하지 관절 근육(대퇴이두근, 비복근 외측, 비복근 내측, 대퇴직근, 전경골근, 외측광근, 내측광근) 부위를 Tensiomyography(TMG) 변인 Time Delay(Td), Time Contraction(Tc), Time Sustain(Ts), Time Relaxation(Tr), Displacement Maximumal(Dm)을 통해 측정하여 근 활성도, 근 피로도, 좌우 대칭을 Wilconxon의 순위 검사로 비교하였고, 이때 유의수준은 α= .05로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 Td에서 왼쪽 RF, VL, 오른쪽 VM(p<.05), Tc에서는 VM(p<.05), Ts 에서는 GM(p<.05), Tr 에서는 왼쪽 RF, 오른쪽 TA(p<.05)에서 변화를 보였다. 따라서 스쿼트, 카프 레이즈, 런지 동작의 전신진동 운동 훈련이 근 수축 변화가 있는 효과적인 운동임을 입증되었고, 좌·우 근육 대칭으로 코어의 안정성이 확보되었다. 이로 인해 전신진동운동은 재활훈련 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이고, 경기력 향상을 도모할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

편평족 중학생의 고관절 교정 운동 프로그램과 발교정구 착용 유무가 안정시 종골 기립 각도, 발목의 가동범위, 코어 근력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Corrective Hip Joint Exercises and Foot Orthotics on RCSP, Ankle's Range of Motion, and Core Muscle Strength for Middle School Students with Pes Planus)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of hip joint exercises and orthotics on RCSP, ankle's range of motion, and core muscle strength of middle school students with pes planus. Method : Out of the original pool of 200 students, 60 students with pes planus (RCSP < -2) were selected for the study. The selected 60 students were then divided into four groups. The first group was a combined orthotics and exercise group (12 students), the second was the orthotics-only group (9 students), the third was the exercise-only group (8 students), and the last was the control group (10 students). Exercise groups worked out twice a week for 60 minutes per session over 8 weeks. The independent variables were corrective hip joint exercises and orthotics. The dependant variables consisted of kinematic and kinetic variables. The kinematic variables were RCSP, and ankle's range of motion (dorsiflexion and plantarflexion). The kinetic variables were muscles forces that consist in core muscle strength, which are hip joint adduction, abduction, and flexion muscles forces. Statistical analysis was performed via SPSS 18.0 with multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) and a paired t-test was used. Results : The left foot was more responsive to the treatments, both exercise and orthotics, than the right foot. RCSP improved significantly in the left foot for the first and third groups. Only the first group significantly improved hip joint adduction, abduction, and flexion muscles' strengths. As for the ankle's range of motion of the left foot, plantarflexion showed improvement when treated with exercise, orthotics, or both. Conclusion : This study found that exercise is more effective in correcting RCSP and foot orthotics is more effective in reinforcing core muscle strength. Future studies should expand on these results to examine the relationship between the ankle, hip, and pelvis.

코어근육군 강화를 위한 무동력 승마운동기구개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Non-Powered Horse Riding Device for Enhancement of Core Muscle)

  • Objective : The aim of this study was to develop the non-powered horse riding device and was to evaluate the elaborate its applicability throughout static structural and transient structural analysis of the outdoor core strength exercise equipment. Method : Fifteen college students (mass: $69.55{\pm}13.38kg$, height: $1.69{\pm}5.61m$, age: $21.42{\pm}1.83yrs$) rode the powered horse riding device and 14 college students (mass: $71.12{\pm}9.74kg$, height: $1.73{\pm}3.31m$, age: $22.50{\pm}1.47yrs$) rode the non-powered horse riding device for the comparison. All motion capture data was collected at 100 Hz using six infrared cameras and the muscular activities were collected using a Delsys Trigno wireless system. The peak forward/backward lean angle, range of motion anter/posterior and vertical COM(Center of mass) movement of trunk and pelvis segment, and muscle activities of six muscles were compared between the two devices by using independent t-test (p<.05). Results : Several kinematic variables (peak forward-backward lean angle and vertical COM movement of trunk and pelvis segment, range of motion of trunk) significantly different between non-powered and powered horse riding device. The muscle activities of Rectus abdominis and External oblique of abdomen on the non-powered horse riding device were significantly greater than those of the powered device. Conclusion : It was concluded that non-power horse riding device could give the effect of core strength exercise as well as the body motion which can simulate the powered horse riding device.

코어안정화 운동이 좌식생활 패턴 성인의 척추기립근 수축 속성 및 체간 등속성 근기능에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Core Stabilization Intervention Program on Erector Spinae Contractile Properties and Isokinetic Muscle Function in Adults with Sedentary Lifestyle Patterns)

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate effect of core stabilization exercises on the erector spinae contractile properties and trunk isokinetic muscle function of middle age with low physical activity and sedentary lifestyle. Method: Twenty (female: n=10, male: n=10) middle-age subjects (age: 37.25 ± 6.08 years, height: 168.01 ± 6.84 cm, weight: 71.37 ± 11.75 kg) participated in this study. Tensiomyography was measured on the erector spinae, and the isokinetic trunk muscle function test was measured at an angular velocity of 60 °/s and 90 °/s. All subjects performed the core stabilization exercises for 60 min per day, 3 times a week, for 7 weeks. A paired t-test was performed with a significance level of 0.05. Results: Tensiomyography of the erector spinae revealed a significant post-exercise increase in the maximum radial displacement (p < .05) and velocity of contraction (p < .05), however, there wasn't a significant post-exercise change in the contraction time. Additionally, the isokinetic muscle function test of the trunk revealed a significant post-exercise increase in trunk extensor relative strength (p < .05) and strength ratio (p < .05). Conclusion: Our results indicated that core stabilization exercises reduced erector spinae muscle stiffness, increased the velocity of erector spinae contraction. Additionally, data showed the improvement in the trunk extensor strength help induce a more balanced development in trunk muscle.

노즐 형상비에 따른 고압분사의 유동 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Investigation on the Flow Characteristics of High Pressurized Jet with Nozzle Aspect Ratio)

  • High-pressurized jet is widely using in industrial works. however, few papers studied on the performances or characteristics on that kind of nozzles. And in this study, some flow characteristics with the variation of nozzle aspect ratios such as mean velocity distributions, momentum variations along the center line have been experimentally investigated. As the results, some semi-empirical correlations of profiles of pressure and mean velocity distributions, momentum conservations with the nozzle aspect ratios are formulated. It is expected that these empirical formula can be applied for the random estimations of nozzle performances.

생체자기 측정 기구를 이용한 코어 운동이 하지 근력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Core Exercise Using Pressure Biofeedback Unit on Muscle Strength of Lower Extremity)

  • Purpose: The importance of core exercise on muscle activation of the lower extremity has been studied. This study investigated the effects of core exercise using pressure biofeedback unit on muscle strength of lower extremity. Method: Fourteen healthy young adults (7 males and 7 females) were recruited. They were randomly separated two groups and performed core exercise using pressure biofeedback unit of one set for three minutes, 10sets per day for three weeks. Result: The mean of muscle strength of lower extremity, maximum power of muscle and peak TQ/BW in core exercise group significantly increased after core exercise using bio feedback unit (p<.05). Conclusion: These findings suggest that core exercise using pressure biofeed-back unit may help improving of muscle strength of lower extremity in young adults.
