  • Covid-19, which has made a huge difference in our daily lives, has also brought major changes to our college education. As the class was changed from the traditional face-to-face class to a non face-to-face class, both teachers and students had difficulties in adapting, and problems such as the occurrence of academic achievement gaps due to non face-to-face classes were also raised. Therefore, this study aims to find out what attitudes students have toward non-face-to-face classes at universities caused by Covid-19. Accordingly, this study tried to identify the types of subjective perceptions college students have toward non-face-to-face classes by applying the Q methodology, and to suggest points for reference in the development and improvement of non-face-to-face classes in the future. Five types were found as a result of analysis using 30 P samples and 34 Q samples. First, learning efficiency-oriented type, second, class participation and communication-oriented type, third, non-face-to-face class active acceptance and utilization type, fourth, dissatisfaction type due to remote system and equipment operation errors, fifth, passive response type according to the situation to be. From the results of this study, it seems that it is necessary to develop an educational method for effective non-face-to-face class considering the characteristics of each type, and the merits of non-face-to-face classes, especially recorded lectures, in terms of learning efficiency, are evident. Therefore, even if face-to-face classes are conducted entirely at universities, it is believed that providing video-recorded lectures in class will be of great help to students' learning.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of covid-19 pandemic on mother's child-rearing style and provide information on mother-rearing. The significance of regression coefficients was verified to investigate the factors affecting warm parenting and control parenting, and the effect of separation and individualization on warm parenting (β=-).40, p <.001). Moreover, covid infection has a positive effect on controlled child care (β=.21, p=.002), and separation has a significant effect on controlled child care (β=-26, p<.001). Based on the results of these studies, we can see that the strong belief in mother-rearing and the separation and individualization of healthy children have a great impact on child growth.

  • In this paper, we proposed an efficient method for rapid diagnosis of COVID-19 by voice. A novel Strided Convolution Separable Transformer (SC-SepTr) is proposed by modifying the conventional Separable Transformer (SepTr) for audio signal recognition. The proposed method reduces the memory and computational requirements to enable rapid diagnosis of COVID-19. As a result of experiments on Coswara, it was shown that the proposed method perform rapid diagnosis with guaranteeing Area Under the Curve (AUC) performance even for a relatively small amount of learning data.

  • The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the aviation industry, leading to worldwide changes in travel restrictions and security measures. This study analyzes 59,818 reviews of 147 airlines from the SKYTRAX website between 2016 and 2023 to understand the changes in airline service satisfaction before and after the pandemic. Using sentiment analysis, the study compares overall satisfaction, review sentiment, and attributes influencing satisfaction. The results show a statistically significant (p<0.001) decrease in overall satisfaction post-COVID-19, with reduced positive sentiment and increased negative sentiment for all airline selection attributes, except cabin and in-flight services. Flight operation services had the most significant impact on overall satisfaction during both periods. This quantitative analysis of global major airlines' satisfaction attributes before and after COVID-19 contributes to enhancing future service satisfaction in the airline industry.

  • This study focuses on the vulnerability of our society and environment under the Covid-19 pandemic. The medical descriptions about severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus disease 2019 provide the serious manifestation of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and a new resilient hope of its vaccination. Moreover, with the perspective of feminist practical theology, the author explores a resilient possibility to reconstitute an ecological relationship between our society and environment. In addition, many people's depression in the time of Covid-19 is understood in the meaningful narrative of the relationship between integrity and despair to be stressed by Erikson in the perspective of Loder. Especially, this study focuses on the main stream of designing the convergence curriculum of medicine and theology to move toward the life wellbeing of community members, overcoming their difficult circumstances such as Covid-19.

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this paper is to provide a review of physiotherapy intervention for patients with COVID-19 during their hospital admission and post-discharge. METHODS: The recommendations and guidelines of physiotherapy management, medical management, and general information of the WHO, Australian Physiotherapist, European Respiratory Society, British Thoracic Society, and American Thoracic Society were reviewed. RESULTS: This paper contains general information on COVID-19, including medical management, and the importance of physiotherapy approaches including an assessment of the patients' function, such as the 6-minute walking test, five sit to stand or sit to stand for one minute to measure their function as their recovery journey. The patients' quality of life, anxiety, and depression should be considered. Physiotherapy management should be based on an assessment of the patient's presenting impairments, including inclusion and exclusion of physiotherapy intervention. The paper also approaches step by step with the disease progress, from an intensive care unit, the general ward in the acute phase, through to the rehabilitation ward if needed, and post-discharge as an outpatient.. CONCLUSION: The paper has a limitation due to the unknown factor of the natural history of COVID-19. Depending on the patients' recovery journey and the rehabilitation needed, any physiotherapy interventions should focus on what the patients' need on their journey to recovery, e.g., pulmonary, cardiac, neurological, and general rehabilitation. In addition, applying personal protection equipment for treating physiotherapists is a mandatory requirement because this protects from the transmission of COVID-19.
