Stable Anisotropic Freezing Modeling Technique Using the Interaction between IISPH Fluids and Ice Particles (안정적이고 이방성한 빙결 모델링을 위한 암시적 비압축성 유체와 얼음 입자간의 상호작용 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a new method to stable simulation the directional ice shape by coupling of freezing solver and viscous water flow. The proposed ice modeling framework considers viscous fluid flow in the direction of ice growth, which is important in freezing simulation. The water simulation solution uses the method of applying a new viscous technique to the IISPH(Implicit incompressible SPH) simulation, and the ice direction and the glaze effect use the proposed anisotropic freezing solution. The condition in which water particles change state to ice particles is calculated as a function of humidity and new energy with water flow. Humidity approximates a virtual water film on the surface of the object, and fluid flow is incorporated into our anisotropic freezing solution to guide the growth direction of ice. As a result, the results of the glaze and directional freezing simulations are shown stably according to the flow direction of viscous water.

  • With the recent growth of the big data technology market, interest in visualization technology has steadily increased over the past few years. Data visualization is currently used in a wide range of disciplines such as information science, computer science, human-computer interaction, statistics, data mining, cartography, and journalism, each with a slightly different meaning. Big data visualization in smart cities that require multidisciplinary research enables an objective and scientific approach to developing user-centered smart city services and related policies. In particular, spatial-based data visualization enables efficient collaboration of various stakeholders through visualization data in the process of establishing city policy. In this paper, a user-centered spatial big data visualization expression request method was derived by examining the spatial-based big data visualization expression process and principle from the viewpoint of effective information delivery, not just a visualization tool.

Meta-analysis of the Effect of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Training on Gait Ability in Patients with Storke

  • The purpose of this meta-analysis was to determine the efficacy of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation training on Gait. We included all randomized controlled trials assessing the efficacy of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation training on gait ability control in patients after stroke. This study was conducted according to the PRISMA guideline. CINAHL, PubMed and RISS were searched for studies published up to December 2020, and all randomized controlled trails assessing PNF intervention were included. This analysis included only randomized controlled trials. A total of 12 studies were selected from 1475 records obtained from the databases. The meta-analysis was performed using the R software. The overall intervention effect was moderate (standardized mean difference (SMD): 0.67, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.50-0.84). Additionally, Gait rite (SMD: 0.69), 10m walking test (SMD: 0.59) had medium effect sizes. These findings indicate that PNF is an effective intervention for improving gait ability in patients stroke.

Comparative Analysis of Three-Dimensional Real-Time Rendering Methods

  • Image production using three-dimensional (3D) programs undergoes a process called rendering to visualize 3D data. Because this process is time-consuming and costly, the reduction of rendering cost has emerged as an important problem that requires resolution. This work aims to overcome the limitations of the current 3D image production pipeline and propose a method for reducing the production time by adopting a game engine for real-time rendering. In the experiment conducted in this study, rendering using Maya (a 3D production program) and Unity were compared and analyzed. The analysis results indicate that Unity enables rendering in real time; consequently, the rendering cost is reduced. Moreover, the quality of the rendered image is similar to that produced by Maya. The proposed technique involves reducing the render time and providing guidance through access to a real-time rendering engine.

A Study on the Relationships between Users' Characteristics and Shopping Site Commitment in Mobile Internet Environment

  • While there have been a lots of researches focusing on the commitment to shopping site in online commerce area, few studies suggested the results on the relationships between users' characteristics including demographic and shopping characteristics and commitment to mobile shopping site. Therefore, this study investigates whether the level of mobile shopping site commitment will vary by users' characteristics such as gender, age, shopping time, and shopping scale. This study suggests, from the statistical analyses on 230 questionnaires, that there are differences in level of shopping site commitment among the respondents grouped by age, shopping time, and shopping scale except for gender. The study proposes various implications for future research on the management of shopping site commitment in mobile Internet environment.

A study on Data Context-Based Risk Measurement Method for Pseudonymized Information Processing

  • Recently, as digital transformation due to the COVID-19 pandemic accelerates, data to improve individual quality of life is being used in large quantities, and more reinforced non-identification processing procedures are required to utilize the most valuable personal information among data. In Korea, procedures for de-identification measures are presented through amendments to laws and guidelines, but there is no methodology to measure the level of de-identification in the field due to ambiguous processing standards and subjective risk measurement methods. This paper compares and analyzes the current status of policy and guidelines related to de-identification measures proposed at home and abroad to derive complementary points, suggests a data context-based risk measurement method centered on pseudonymized information processing, and verifies its validity. As a result of verification through Delphi survey and focus group interview (FGI), it was confirmed that the need for the proposed methodology and the validity of the indicators were high.

  • The labor director system to be introduced into the company law, the labor director must be explained in the Korean company law and the inevitability of its introduction must be persuaded. Conflicts with shareholders' right to appoint institutions are also a task that must be resolved. Management has absolute meaning for shareholders who receive dividends from operating profit. On the other hand, for workers who are guaranteed the right to collective action and are paid for their labor according to the contract law and the labor law, the management must be considered as a partner in labor-management cooperation, so the labor director system may cause confusion. There are growing calls to create a system that can form a 'relationship of understanding, participation, and cooperation', away from the existing 'control and command'-centered manpower management that causes labor-management confrontation and the system can also serve as an opportunity to reduce harmful effects of high-handed personnel administration in public institutions.

  • This paper implements an AR manual for a vehicle that can be used even in the vehicle interior space where it is difficult to apply the augmentation method of AR content, which is mainly used, and applies a deep learning model to improve the augmentation matching between real space and virtual objects. Through deep learning, the logo of the steering wheel is recognized regardless of the position, angle, and inclination, and 3D interior space coordinates are generated based on this, and the virtual button is precisely augmented on the actual vehicle parts. Based on the same learning model, the function to recognize the main warning light symbols of the vehicle is also implemented to increase the functionality and usability as an AR manual for vehicles.

  • This paper aims to develop a framework that can fully automate the quality management of training data used in large-scale Artificial Intelligence (AI) models built by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) in the 'AI Hub Data Dam' project, which has invested more than 1 trillion won since 2017. Autonomous driving technology using AI has achieved excellent performance through many studies, but it requires a large amount of high-quality data to train the model. Moreover, it is still difficult for humans to directly inspect the processed data and prove it is valid, and a model trained with erroneous data can cause fatal problems in real life. This paper presents a dataset reconstruction framework that removes abnormal data from the constructed dataset and introduces strategies to improve the performance of AI models by reconstructing them into a reliable dataset to increase the efficiency of model training. The framework's validity was verified through an experiment on the autonomous driving dataset published through the AI Hub of the National Information Society Agency (NIA). As a result, it was confirmed that it could be rebuilt as a reliable dataset from which abnormal data has been removed.

  • In this paper, we analyze process of implementing and successful enabler of Postal Logistics Integrated Information Systems(PostNet) through a case study on Korea Post. PostNet was integrated by considering contingently organizational integration (organizational structure redesign), strategical integration (business process reengineering), and technical integration(data integration, application integration, and integrated platform implementation). And also integration was implemented for supporting three aspects. PostNet has implication for advanced integration with business mission and operational efficiency by comparing integration with physical level and hardware level. Korea Post has the biggest logistics network, organization, and service in logistics industry area. The results of this paper will suggest theoretical framework for the future information system integration, and will be utilized as a practical guideline for the information system integration.
