It is true color that is allocated 1 byte to three basic colors, red, green, and blue in order to represent a pixel of an image. It is a merit that almost all colors are representable by using the true color. However, it requires a lot of storages. An efficient image compression method is necessary. Most of the existing compression methods have not considered the characteristics of the true color images. Therefore, the efficient compression has been almost impossible. The differences of each pixel and its adjacent pixels in the true color images are few. Only a few bits in 3 bytes data which represent a pixel have different values. But the different bits are scattered in 3 bytes, so efficient compression results are not achieved. Therefore, in the study it is shown that the similarities of data are increased by relocating the data structures of true color images. And an efficient compression strategy which uses the similarities of data is proposed.

The purpose of this study is to determine the meaning and function of black and white in the comic strip, which are mounted on the book pages. The role of space in comic strip, compared to the role of time in the cinema, enable to feel the role of the time in the book. Therefore storytelling of comic strip has been placed in the inseparable relationship with space. My aim is to think about the black and white meaning in the visual media, especially the use of black and white which is highlighted in the comic strip. Black and white doesn't mean a loss of color in the comic strip but it works around 2 important notions : readability, modernity (with minimalism). In comic strip, 'black and white' is not a true colour but it is complex items which indicate symbolic significances. Moreover it is also a notion which enhance 'existence and absence' and 'visible and invisible'. That's why to analyze and to understand how the space is organized in comic strip page, i chose several examples extract from black and white comic strip.

This paper presents a problem of existing encryption methods using pseudo-random numbers based on MLCA or complemented MLCA and proposes a method to resolve this problem. The existing encryption methods have a problem which the edge of original image appear on encrypted image because the image have color similarity of adjacent pixels. In this proposed method, we transform the value and spatial coordinates of all pixels by using pseudo-random numbers based on MLCA. This method can resolve the problem of existing methods and improve the level of encryption by encrypting pixel coordinates and pixel values of original image. The effectiveness of the proposed method is proved by conducting histogram and key space analysis.

Recently, much demand of vector data have increased rapidly such as a digital map instead of traditional a paper map and the raster data such as a high-resolution orthoimage have been used for many GIS application with the advent of industrial high-resolution satellites and development of aerial optical sensor technologies. Aerial photogrammetric technologies using an airship can offer cost-effective and high-resolution color images as well as real time images, different from conventional remote sensing measurements. Also, it can acquire images easily and its processing procedure is short and simple relatively. On the other hand, it has often been used for the production of a small-scale land use map not required high accuracy, monitoring of linear infrastructure features through mosaicking strip images and construction of GIS data. Through this study, the developed aerial photogrammetric system using the airship expects to be applied to not only producing of scale 1:5, 000 digital map but also verifying, editing, and updating the digital map which was need to be reproduced. Further more, providing the various type of video-images, it expects to use many other GIS applications such as facilities management, scenery management and construction of GIS data for Urban area.
