Perception of Eco-friendly Agricultural Products and Food Service Satisfaction of Elementary and Middle School Students According to Eco-friendly Food Service Day in Chungnam (충남지역 친환경 급식의 날 운영에 따른 초·중학생의 친환경 농산물에 대한 인식 및 급식만족도)

  • The superiority and safety of eco-friendly agricultural products are well-known. The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental data for creating a safe food culture, to improve the quality of school food services, and to increase student satisfaction with school food services. We compared the perception of eco-friendly agricultural products and food service satisfaction between students with and without exposure to a dedicated event for learning about eco-friendly products (an Eco-friendly Food Service Day) in elementary and middle school. When students were asked to define eco-friendly products, "organic products" was a highly frequent response in schools with an Eco-friendly Food Service Day, while "pesticide-free products" was a highly frequent response in school without this event. For most students, a factor in choosing eco-friendly products was a quality certification mark. Students from elementary schools with an Eco-friendly Food Service Day had a higher frequency of using eco-friendly agricultural products at home compared to students from schools without the event (p<0.01). In addition, the satisfaction with school food service was higher in schools with an Eco-friendly Food Service Day (p<0.05). These results suggest it is important to promote the use of superior and safe eco-friendly agricultural products while developing a variety of menus considering students' preferences.

The Effect of ESG Management in New Energy Vehicles on Purchase Intention: The Mediating Effects of Corporate Trust and Eco-consciousness (신에너지 자동차의 ESG 경영이 구매의도에 미치는 영향 -기업 신뢰와 친환경 인식의 매개효과-)

  • This paper studied the effects of consumers' perceptions of ESG management and their intention to purchase new energy vehicles. In order to study the environment (E), society (S), governance (G), purchase intention, corporate trust, and eco-friendly awareness of consumers, an online survey was conducted on consumers over the age of 19 in China. A total of 380 questionnaires were retrieved, excluding 38 invalid questionnaires, 342 were analyzed. First, demographic analysis and correlation analysis between variables were conducted. After that, a regression analysis was performed on ESG management and purchase intention, and the mediating effect on trust in the company and eco-friendly perception was analyzed. As a result of the study, it was found that ESG management had a positive effect on trust in companies. In addition, it was investigated that it had a direct effect on consumers' purchase intention. It was analyzed that consumers' corporate trust and eco-friendly perception have a mediating effect between ESG management and purchase intention. This study was able to find academic and practical implications for consumers' perceptions of corporate ESG management.

세미나: 제2회 친환경 인쇄 세미나 -국내외 친환경인쇄 트렌드 및 방안 소개

  • 동국대 RIS 사업단과 서울인쇄센터, 월간 PT는 지난 11월 11일 인쇄정보센터 7총 대강당에서 공동으로 친환경 인쇄 세미나를 개최했다. 아그파코리아(주), 대한잉크(주), 붸처코리아(주), 한솔제지9주)의 협찬과 지식경제부, 대한인쇄기술협회, 일본인쇄산업연합회, 일본 환경보호인쇄추진협의회(E3PA)의 후원으로 진행된 이번 친환경 인쇄 세미나는 친환경 인쇄의 필요성과 사례 발표를 통해 국내 인쇄업계의 접근 방법을 제시했다. 세미나 발표는 일본인쇄산업연합회와 일본 환경보호인쇄추진협의회의 실무진들이 '일본인쇄의 친환경 트렌드 및 E3PA 활동사례'를 발표했으며, 국내에서 친환경 인쇄 인식 확산을 위해 노력을 하고 있는 아그파코리아, 대한잉크, 붸처코리아, 한솔제지에서 국내 인쇄업계에 실질적인 도움과 적용 가능한 친환경 인쇄에 대한 툴과 성공 사례를 소개했다. 한편, 동국대 RIS 사업단에서는 '수출을 위한 친환경 트렌드'를, 서울인쇄센터에서는 '친환경 인쇄진흥을 위한 사업 방안'을 통해 인쇄업계의 새로운 흐름을 제시했다. 서울인쇄센터에서 발표한 '친환경 인쇄진흥을 위한 사업방안'에 대해 소개한다.

Factors that Affect on the Necessity of Establishment of Eco-friendly Hospital (친환경 병원 도입필요성에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purpose of this research study is to analyze the influence on the necessity of establishment of eco-friendly hospital by evaluating hospital employees' awareness and their satisfaction level of working environment. Questionnaire investigation was conducted in April 2014 throughout five different medium-size hospitals in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungcheongbuk provinces. 213 sets of survey were used to conduct Frequency Analysis, T-test, Dispersion Analysis(ANOVA) and Structural Equation Modeling Analysis. The research concluded that employees with higher level of education, working position and longer term of working experience were more aware about Eco-friendly hospital. In addition, male, doctor, and employees with higher level of education and working position were more satisfied with their working environment. And male, employees with higher level of education and working position were more aware about necessity of establishment of eco-friendly hospital. According to the Structural Equation Modeling Analysis, the awareness of Eco-friendly hospital and the satisfaction level of working environment were the varying factors that influence the necessity of establishment of Eco-friendly hospital. Therefore, it is crucial for hospitals that are preparing for establishing Eco-friendly hospital to raise employees' level of understanding of Eco-friendly hospital and their working environment satisfaction level.

An Analysis of Consumer's Taste on Environment-Friendly Agricultural Products in Korea (우리나라 친환경 농산물에 대한 소비자 의향분석)

  • There has been an increasing public concern about environmental safety and human health of field crops while customer consumes more and more field crops, to which overdose and residual chemicals were applied. As a solution for the problems, construction of sustainable agroecosystem is spreading out to pursuit the economic value of agricultural management as well as to meet environment concern. Public has extended their understanding on the preservation of environment and safeness of agricultural products, and governmental policy toward sustainable agriculture drives rapid increase of the production of sustainable agricultural products. Under this circumstances, it is time to encourage more consumption and to activate market system for the sustainable agricultural products. This study was initiated to diagnose the problems and future direction of domestic sustainable agriculture by analyzing the overall opinions of consumer on the sustainable agriculture. The results are as follows: The pursuit of low input management is a prerequisite to creat high valued agricultural products, and serious consideration should be taken to produce clean crops using natural products. Consummers are willing to pay 10∼50% more prices if the products get certified by official eco-label programs. It is believed that practice of sustainable agriculture using biopesticide and natural pesticide would accelerate the rapid extension of this pro-environmental agricultural management. To activate production and consumption of sustainable agricultural products correct informations on safety should be addressed to customer, and confidence has to be brought about from customer. This could be done by obtaining various and efficient distribution route, product competency for quality, upgraded sales strategy, maximum utilization of certificate system, and practice of recall system, so on.

Use and Perception of Environmentally-Friendly Ingredients by Dietitians in Chungbuk (충북지역 학교급식 영양(교)사의 친환경 식재료에 대한 이용실태 및 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the status of environmentally-friendly ingredients and dietitians' perceptions toward them in order to find for improvement. Data was collected from questionnaires completed by 202 school dietitians and nutrition teachers in Chungbuk, and this data was analyzed utilizing the SPSS 20.0 program. The results obtained from this study were as follows: 'mixed grains (58.9%)' and 'eggs (36.6%)' were found to be the most used environmentally-friendly ingredients. 81.7% of the respondents said they 'never used' marine products, whereas 'fruits (43.6%)', 'pork (40.8%)', and 'fish (54.5%)' were the most preferred ingredients. Dietitians and nutrition teachers used environmentally-friendly marine products less than other ingredients, had a poor understanding about environmentally-friendly marine products, and demonstrated low reliability and belief in the necessity of the system. In order to verify the environmentally-friendly status of the ingredients, marks on the product and documents of certification were mostly used. In order to improve the supply system, a more strict tracking system in the distribution process by securing more reliable suppliers is required.

  • 1997년에 '친환경농업육성법'을 제정, 시행하고 2001년부터 친환경 농산물 인증제도를 도입, 운영해 오고 있으나 69%가 저농약농산물로 유기 무농약농산물의 보편화는 이루어 지지 않고 있다. 또 2006년에는 농산물품질관리법에 GAP 제도를 반영시켜 시행, 운영해오고 있으나 인증농산물은 아직 초보단계에 머물고 있는 실정이다.

  • This study analyzes how the environmental-friendly logistics activities impact on both environmental performance which is the result of sustainable development and business performance which is one of basic achievement of commercial company. It has been researched especially focusing on manufacturing-based company. According to the results of multiple regression analysis, it has been proven that environment-friendly storage and cargo handling, management and policy factors significantly affect environmental performance. And environment-friendly production, management, policy factors significantly affect the company's business performance.

Consumption Type of Housewives about Organic and Instant Food (친환경 식품과 가공 식품에 대한 주부들의 인식 및 소비 형태)

  • This study was carried out to examine the Korean housewives' recognition and consumption type about organic and instant food. The questionnaire were answered by the housewives in Seoul, Kyunggi-do and Chungcheong-do areas. 94.1% of the housewives were aware of the organic food and 71.7% were consuming it. However, majority(95.9%) thought the price was too expensive. The biggest reason why the housewives did not purchase organic food was the high price(43.8%). But 60.6% of the housewives bought organic food because of its safety. The most preferred organic food type of the housewives was vegetable and lettuce was most consumed organic vegetable. Instant food was used by 96.7% of the housewives. 29.9% used instant food once a week, and the number of using instant food from one to seven times a week were 73.8%. Time saving was the biggest reason(51.3%) of using instant food, but 72.4% of the housewives did not buy instant food because of its artificial color, added preservatives, and the low safety level. Housewives liked fish and meat products(37.4%) and awareness of the names of companies made difference in consuming. There were significant correlation between food expenses and purchase of organic food, and between housework and organic food, and between housework and number of uses (p<0.05).

  • 환경부가 주최하고 (사)한국환경포장진흥원이 주관하는 제3회 그린패키징 공모전 시상식이 12월 9일 엘타워 엘하우스홀에서 열렸다. 그린패키징 공모전은 우수한 친환경 포장기술 및 디자인을 발굴, 시상함으로써 친환경 포장에 대한 인식 및 관심을 제고하여 관련 학생 및 종사자들의 사기진작과 기술개발 의욕을 고취시킨다는 목적 아래 금번 제3회를 맞고 있다. 특히 친환경 포장과 관련한 신기술 개발을 촉진함으로써 자원 절약과 녹색 성장에 기여한다는 취지를 갖고 있다. 제3회 그린패키징 공모전에서는 일반 부문 10개 업체 16점이 수상의 영예를 안았으며, 학생부문에서도 5개교 12점이 수상했다. 본 고에서는 제3회 그린패키징 공모전 수상작들을 살펴보도록 한다.
