The purpose of this study was to identify the effects experienced by cancer survivors through the forest therapy, and to provide evidence for applying the forest therapy program. Nineteen cancer survivors who participated in the forest therapy program hosted by K University were targeted, and qualitative data were collected through three focus group interviews. All interviews were recorded and transcribed and analyzed by subject-specific content analysis method. According to the research results, the attributes of forest therapy experienced by cancer survivors were 'Escape from bondage', 'Time to empty and fill the mind', 'Healing from positive forest stimulation', 'Self met in a space of rest', 'Initiative for life'. Five themes and fifteen sub-themes of 'recovery' were derived. These research results revealed a healing experience of feeling comfortable and physically relaxed through communication with the forest, discovering the self, and regaining initiative in life. It can be seen that the forest therapy is helpful in overcoming the physical, emotional, and psycho-social discomforts of cancer survivors.

The purpose of this study is to study the need for psychological first aid for stress of fire officials. a 1:1 in-depth interview with 10 paramedics to solve the research problem. Through interviews, the policy on the need for psychological first aid to improve the mental health of firefighters was proposed as follows by analyzing the working environment of paramedics, post-traumatic stress experience, and psychological first aid experience. First, fire officials need to be assigned to the site to educate in advance about post-traumatic stress and the resulting physical symptoms before being exposed to traumatic events. Second, fire officials should provide psychological first aid at an appropriate time after exposure to trauma cases. Third, it is necessary to supplement the manpower and institutional devices that will specialize in mental health work. Fourth, for customized professional medical services and psychological support suitable for fire officials, it is necessary to link fire-fighting complex healing centers and national firefighting hospitals.

Burkholderia cepacia is a Gram-negative aerobic bacillus known to cause opportunistic infections in the immune-compromised hosts. This microorganism is strongly virulent and causes a necrotising invasive infection that may lead to death. As B. cepacia is highly resistant to various antimicrobials, combination antimicrobial therapy must be used instead of monotherapy. We report a successful treatment of lung abscess that was naturally caused by B. cepacia in a healthy child, through combination antimicrobial therapy of meropenem and trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole and operative management.

Kaposi's varicelliform eruption is a more or less generalized infection of the skin, and sometimes of internal organs, with herpes simplex, vaccinia or Coxsackie virus A 16 ; it appears in people who have atopic dermatitis or some other skin diseases. There is a predilection for infants and children, but no age-group is exempt. We reported 3 cases of Kaposi's varicelliform eruption with atopic dermatitis. They had characteristic multiple umbilicated vesicles on the sites that atopic dermatitis had been involved. A 14-year-old boy and a 2-month-old infant had fever. A 17-year-old boy had wide-spread vesicles. All three patients showed multinucleated giant cells on Tzanck test, that suggests herpes simplex virus origin. They were treated with acyclovir. Within 1 to 2 days after the initiation of the therapy, new lesions had ceased to develop. Most of the lesions were cleared in 7 days without complication.

Perinatal atrial flutter is a potentially lethal arrhythmia. Management of this disorder is difficult and controversial. Fetal atrial flutter is a serious and life threatening rhythm disorder particulary when it causes hydrops; it may be associated with fetal death or neurological damage. Although the initial episode of flutter may be difficult to control, recurrence of atrial flutter after successful resolution of the arrhythmia seems highly unlikely and long-term prognosis is excellent. We experienced a case of a atrial flutter diagnosed in utero at $38^{+6}$ weeks' gestation by fetal cardiac echocardiography. He was treated with maternal digoxin, but he continued to have atrial flutter until delivery. Restoration of sinus rhythm occured with propafenone therapy in this patient after failure of initial digoxin therapy and direct current cardioversion.
Tolosa-Hunt syndrome is a rare disease in children characterized by dull, persistent pain around the affected eye and ophthalmoplegia caused by granulomatous inflammation in the cavernous sinus, superior orbital fissure, or orbit. Although spontaneous remission can occur, corticosteroids frequently have a dramatic response; however, recurrence can transpire after complete remission. We report an 11-year-old girl with Tolosa-Hunt syndrome who responded to corticosteroid promptly, without complications, but suffered three recurrences of headache and retro-orbital pain and required maintenance on a low dose of steroid.
Cardiac tamponade with pleural and pericardial effusion is a rare but life-threatening complication of umbilical venous catheterization in the newborn. It requires a timely diagnosis and urgent treatment, such as pericardiocentesis, to save lives of affected patients. Recently, we experienced a 7 day-old, very low birth weight infant, who developed a cardiac tamponade with pleural and pericardial effusions complicated by umbilical venous catheterization. The patient was successfully treated with pleural and pericardial drainages. Here, we report this case with a review of literature, since there has been no such previous case reported in Korea.
Herpes simplex virus has rarely been identified as a cause of esophagitis in immunocompetent children. This virus affects predominantly males presenting with symptoms of fever, odynophagia, dysphagia, and retrosternal pain of acute onset. Esophagoscopy typically reveals exudative well-circumscribed ulcerations of the distal and/or mid-esophagus. Further investigations using biopsy, viral culture, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and seroconversion of antibodies to Herpes simplex are recommended to assist with a definitive diagnosis. This esophagitis is often a self-limited infection in immunocompetent children. Nevertheless, antiviral treatment may expedite symptom relief with Herpes simplex virus infection. It is imperative to document herpes esophagitis in cases with subsequent severe odynophagia in immunocompetent children. Here we present the case of a 12-year-old immunocompetent boy with herpes esophagitis.

Chyluria is the passage of milky urine due to the leakage of lymph into the urinary tract. Chyluria occurs predominantly in adults and is rare in children. We present an unusual case in which a child with proteinuria, hematuria and milky urine was subsequently diagnosed with non-parasitic chyluria. Retrograde cystogram confirmed a lymphatico-calyceal communication. This case showed spontaneous remission. The etiology of this case was not exactly known; however, the prognosis of non-parasitic chyluria (or idiopathic chyluria) is usually very good and the treatment is mostly conservative.
