In this paper, we optimized the PDT laser system to improve the therapy effects of malignancies. In order to optimize, the variation of laser output and specific wavelength shift have to reduced. To improve the PDT therapy clinician require the diverse radiation mode which irradiate the tumor surface. Continuous wave mode that general application may causes tissue thermal damage not only to tumor tissue, but also to normal tissue. In this paper, therefore, we suggested new technique for radiation method to improved PDT effects and prevented to the thermal effects for the tissue. In the experimental we verified the stability of wavelength, laser output stability and proved the reduced thermal effects to the tissue using the pulse & burst radiation modes in vitro.

The patients who have illness of hand and upper limb should be received rehabilitation treatment to recover such illness. The rehabilitation treatments is a treatments designed to facilitate the process of recovery from injury, illness, or disease to as normal a condition as possible. This should be done continuously and repeatedly. In this paper, we describe hand-rehabilitation system which provides a treatment method improving and recovering the function of injured hands. Expecially, this system is using a leap motion device which can easily and properly identify and trace a hand motion and provide six treatment patterns for hand rehabilitation. By using this system, the patients can do rehabilitation treatment easily and continuously in their daily life and in result, the achievement of treatment will be improved.
Partial thickness rotator cuff tears (PTRCTs) are now a well-established clinical entity, yrt there is no consensus in regards to surgical management. Recommended treatment varies widely from simple debridement of the torn tendon to subacromial decompression to excision of the degenerative tendon and repair. Surgery may be performed using an open, arthroscopically assisted (miniopen), or entirely arthroscopic procedure. The advantages and disadvantages of open and arthroscopic procedures may lie in the balance between precision and morbidity. Visualization of both the articular and bursal surfaces is mandatory to determine the level of rotator cuff disease and formulate a treatment strategy. Because these tear often are secondary finding, recognition of the primary pathology is critical. Treatment of the primary problem usually remedies the partial tear. However, when there is significant PTRCT, an arthroscopic or open repair of the diseased tendon will give the most consistent results.
Intracavitary brachytherapy combined hypertermin for utero-conical cancer seems to be a promising method for salvage treatments in persistent tumors and inoperable or previously irradiated cervical recurrences. In order to heat the vaginal apex and uterus, powerfull conical antennas which are suitable for afterloading cervical applicator have been designed for use in conjuction with intracavitary radiation therapy. The antennas were constructed with conical conductive material to feed line and the effective lenght were designed proportional to microwave length, Power deposition profiles of 2450 MHz of conical antennas were studied in both phantom models and muscle tissue and compared to those of commonly used dipole antenna. Improvement of the heating pattern was found in both phantom and muscle tissue. The heating pattern produced by the conical antenna resembles an ellipsoid and then the temperature distribution in depth was extended to $2\~3\;cm$ from the effective antenna axis.
Exosomes are nano-sized membrane-bound extracellular vesicles containing various biological molecules, such as nucleic acids, proteins, and lipids, which can be used to modulate physiological processes. The exosomal molecules secreted by cells can be extensively used as tools for diagnosis and therapy. Exosomes carry specific molecules released by the cells they originate from, which can be transferred to surrounding cells or tissues by the exosome. For these reasons, exosomes can be exploited as biomarkers for diagnosis, carriers for drug delivery, as well as therapeutics. In stem cell technology, exosomes have been an attractive option because they can be used as safer therapeutic agents for stem cell-based cell-free therapy. Recently, studies have demonstrated the safety and efficacy of mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes in alleviating symptoms associated with coronavirus disease 2019 as they have anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory potential. Performing multiple studies on exosomes would provide innovative next-generation options for clinical diagnostics and therapy. This review summarizes the use of exosomes focusing on their diverse roles. In addition, the potential of exosomes is illustrated with a focus on how exosomes can be exploited as powerful tools in the days to come.

For individuals with cleft lip and palate, the removable partial dentures (RPDs) have been an important treatment option. Some modifications from conventional prosthetic treatment may be necessary to achieve satisfactory functional and esthetic results in cleft patients. In case of cleft palate patient with periodontally compromised and only posterior few remaining teeth, removable partial prosthesis connected to telescopic crown can be the alternative treatment option. When connected to the RPD, telescopic crowns increase the prosthetic stability and retention, optimize favorable force transmission to the long dental axis, and improve esthetics. And the cross arch stabilization of double crown denture helps to stabilize both divided maxillary ridges in CLP patient. This case present one adult CLP patient using an RPD connected with hybrid telescopic crowns with friction pins to improve not only retention and stability but also aesthetics.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of computer based cognitive rehabilitation program on the generative naming. Twenty - one patients were assigned to the CoTras program and eight were treated with traditional face - to - face language rehabilitation such as paper and table activities. The experimental group and the control group performed sequential language recall memory training, association memory recall training, language categorization memory training, and language integrated memory training for 12 weeks. The Welch's robust ANCOVA showed significant differences in mean fluency and MMSE-K changes (p<0.05). On the other hand, phonemic fluency increased significantly after 12 weeks of treatment compared to baseline in both experimental and control groups, but there was no statistically significant difference between treatment groups. The results of this study suggest that the computer based cognitive rehabilitation program may be more effective in improving the semantic fluency than the conventional cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation.

We aimed to revise and supplement the art therapy kit based on the findings of a review of women's experiences participating in the art therapy kit in the 2030s. After women in their 2030s experienced the developed art therapy kit for one month, we organized two homogeneous groups of 8 art psychotherapy majors and 5 non-majors to collect data through focus group interviews and analyzed them using grounded theory methods. In the end, 100 converted meaning units, 16 subcomponents, and 5 components were derived. There is a lack of research on the development and experience of art or art therapy-based kits in Korea, so it is important for us to provide basic data on the experience of art therapy kits. In addition, the study participants experienced insights into themselves and their emotions based on the accumulated art therapy kit outputs through immersion in emotion exploration and recognition, and these experiences led to the participants' recognition of the need and value of developing art therapy kits. The individual and unique outcomes of the art therapy kits became evidence of self-awareness, confirming the therapeutic effectiveness of art therapy kits as a tool for emotion exploration and recognition and for emotional change and resolution.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of three relaxation techniques, namely, Static Stretching Exercise (SSE), Eccentric Contraction Exercise (ECE), and Suboccipital Muscle Release (SMR) on the flexibility and balance of the lower limb in adults with hamstring shortening. Methods: The participants were 45 adults in their 20s with hamstring shortening. They performed three exercises (i.e., SSE, ECE, and SMR) for two weeks. We measured flexibility, muscle tone and stiffness, proprioception, and balance before and after the intervention, applying each relaxation technique. Data were analyzed using two-way repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA). The significance level was set at α=0.05. Results: Flexibility increased in the SSE, ECE, and SMR groups, with the SSE group showing the greatest improvement. Muscle tone and stiffness decreased in all groups, with the ECE group exhibiting the highest reduction. Proprioception increased in the SSE, ECE, and SMR groups, with SSE demonstrating the greatest enhancement. Balance also increased in all groups, with the ECE group showing the most pronounced improvement. Conclusion: Overall, all three relaxation techniques for hamstring shortening resulted in improved flexibility, muscle tone and stiffness, proprioception, and balance of the lower limb in adults with hamstring shortening. The findings of this study underscore the importance of selecting an appropriate technique according to the purpose of treatment and the condition of the patient.
