A Study about Internal Control Deficient Company Forecasting and Characteristics - Based on listed and unlisted companies - (내부통제 취약기업 예측과 특성에 관한 연구 - 상장기업군과 비상장기업군 중심으로 -)

  • The propose of study is to examine the characteristics of companies with high possibility to form an internal control weakness using forecasting model. This study use the actual listed/unlisted companies' data from K_financial institution. The first conclusion is that discriminant model is more valid than logit model to predict internal control weak companies. A discriminant model for predicting the vulnerability of internal control has high classification accuracy and has low the Type II error that is incorrectly classifying vulnerable companies to normal companies. The second conclusion is that the characteristic of weak internal control companies have a low credit rating, low asset soundness assessment, high delinquency rates, lower operating cash flow, high debt ratios, and minus operating profit to the net sales ratio. As not only a case of listed companies but unlisted companies which did not occur in previous studies are extended in this study, research results including the forecasting model can be used as a predictive tool of financial institutions predicting companies with high potential internal control weakness to prevent asset losses.

Fragility Analysis of RC Moment Resisting Frame with Masonry Infill Walls (비내력벽을 가진 RC모멘트저항골조의 취약도 해석)

  • Many of residential buildings, which have pilotis in lower stories to meet the architectural needs, are recently constructed in Korea. Usually, infill walls located in the upper stories of these buildings may cause a soft first story, which is very weak from the earthquake resistance. In the design of the buildings, the infill walls of upper stories are usually considered as non-structural elements and thus they are not included in the analytical model. However, the infill walls may affect the seismic behavior of the residential buildings. Therefore, the differences in seismic behaviors of RC buildings with and without masonry infill walls are required to be investigated. In this study, seismic fragility analyses were performed for masonry infilled low-rise RC moment-resisting frames. And seismic behaviors of RC moment-resisting frame with/without masonry infill walls were evaluated. Two types of structural system with the same frame and different allocation of infill walls are used to evaluate the influence of masonry infill walls on seismic behavior of RC moment-resisting frames. The infill walls were modeled as bi-equivalent diagonal struts. The fragility analyses show that the seismic performance of RC moment-resisting frames with soft story is below the desirable building seismic performance level recommended by current seismic codes, indicating high vulnerability of RC moment-resisting frames with soft story.

  • It is necessary to grasp the characteristics of traffic flow passing through a specific road section and the topological structure of the road in advance in order to quickly prepare a movement management strategy in the event of a disaster or disaster. It is because it can be an essential basis for road managers to assess vulnerabilities by microscopic road units and then establish appropriate monitoring and management measures for disasters or disaster situations. Therefore, this study presented spatial density, time occupancy, and betweenness centrality index to evaluate vulnerabilities by road link in the city department and defined spatial-temporal and topological vulnerabilities by clustering analysis based on distance and density. From the results of this study, road administrators can manage vulnerabilities by characterizing each road link group. It is expected to be used as primary data for selecting priority control points and presenting optimal routes in the event of a disaster or disaster.

  • 용접성은 모재의 조직과 기계적 성질 및 Bond 부와 열영향부의 조직과 기계적 성질의 관계로 평가된다. 탈소 함량이 높은 레일강의 경우 용접을 하고 나면 열영향부에 마르텐사이트와 같은 취약조직을 형성하여 경도 값이 높아지고 인성이 저하되어 균열발생 가능성이 높아진다. (중략)

  • 용접시에 발생하는 균열의 발생원인과 그 방지대책에 대해서 간단하게 기술하였다. 대부분의 구 조물이 용접에 의해서 제작되고, 용접부위가 파괴발생에 가장 취약하기 때문에 구조물의 파괴 사고는 대부분 용접부위에서 발생하고 있다. 현재 국내에서는 용접구조물이 많이 제작되고 있 으며 앞으로도 증가할 것이다. 그러나 용접부에서 발생하는 파괴 사고에 의한 인명피해, 막대한 경제적 손실 등에 대해서 인식이 부족하여 충분한 대책을 세우지 못하고 있다. 선진국에서는 이미 이 분야에 많은 연구가 되어 많은 기술정보가 공급될 수 있으므로, 국내에서도 이를 적극 활용 용접구조물의 파괴사고를 최소화하는데 필요한 연구와 대책을 적극적으로 추진해야 할 것이 다.

Failure load prediction of mechanically fastened composite joint with the clamping force (클램핑 포스가 존재하는 복합재료 체결부의 파손강도 예측)

  • The design of composite joint is a very important research area because they are often the weakest areas in composite structures. In this paper, the failure load of the mechanically fastened composite joint with the clamping force was predicted by the failure area index method. By the suggested failure area index method, the strength of the mechanically fastened composite joint could be predicted within $22.5\%$ when the clamping force was applied to the composite joint.

  • With the wide application of fiber-reinforced composite material in aero-structures and mechanical parts, the design of composite joint have become a very important research area because they are often the weakest areas in composite structures. In this paper, the failure area index method to predict the strength of the mechanically fastened composite joint which has the same stacking sequence was suggested and evaluated. By the suggested failure area index method, the strength of the mechanically fastened composite joint could be predicted within 6.03%.

  • In order to complete successfully the demolition of a silo structure by means of felling method, structural properties and the geometric design of blast mouth have to be considered. In this study, a commercial software, 3-dimensional applied element analysis (3D AEM), was used to investigate the effect of the geometrical parameters of blast mouth on the collapse behavior of the silo structure.

  • 해양플랜트 구조물은 대양에서 파력을 비롯한 바람 등과 같이 자연에 의해 발생하는 다양한 외력을 구조물 사용기간 동안 지속적으로 랜덤하게 받게 되므로 이로 인한 피로현상이 발생하게 된다. 특히 용접부로 이루어진 격점부는 복잡한 기하형상의 영향으로 피로에 대해 취약구조가 되므로 피로강도향상은 해양플랜트 구조의 안전성에 중요한 요인이 된다. 본 연구에서는 격점부에 대한 구조상세에 관련한 설계기준 및 평가방법을 조사하였으며, 고정식 Jacket 구조물을 대상으로 프레임요소를 사용하여 구조해석을 실시하여 공용하중에 대한 구조거동을 분석하였다. 또한 격점부의 강도평가방법 및 연결부 피로강도를 개선하기 위하여 프레임요소의 구조해석을 토대로 복잡한 기하형상을 가진 KT형 관이음부(Tubular Joints)에 대해 상세해석을 실시하였다.
