  • In launch process, propellants should be supplied with established temperature range for engine normal operation. In order to satisfy this temperature condition, propellant feeding systems should be considered some effects during operation. This paper studied liquid oxygen filling system operation process and cooling method of liquid oxygen during launch process.

  • 현재 사용되고 있는 ETCS(Electronic Toll Collection Services)는 충전식의 스마트 카드와 카드리더를 이용하여 필요한 정보를 읽음으로 인증 및 과금 결제를 처리하는 방식이다. 혀 방식은 스마트 카드 규격이 다양하여 사용자는 각 규격에 맞는 카드리더를 사용해야 한다. 게다가 충전식이기 때문에 매번 충전해야하는 불편함이 있다. 본 논문에서는 현 ETC(Electronic Toll Collection)시스템의 단점을 극복하고자 스마트 카드 대신 휴대폰과 WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) 서버를 사용하여 통행료 자동징수 시스템을 설계한다. 또한 휴대폰을 사용함으로써 ITS(Intelligent Transfer Service) 시스템과 별도로 지역적인 인증이 가능하여 인중절차를 간소화시킬 수 있으며, ITS 시스템의 부하를 줄일 수 있기 때문에 ETC시스템 처리속도 또한 증가시킬 수 있다.

  • 본 논문은 시동 발전기(Hybrid Starter Generator, HSG) 시스템을 이용한 탑재형 충전기(On Board Charger, OBC)의 설계 및 제어 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 하이브리드 자동차(Hybrid Electric Vehicle, HEV)는 인버터 및 발전기로 구성된 HSG 시스템과 전력변환장치를 이용한 배터리 충전 시스템을 포함한다. 본 논문에서는 HSG 시스템에 추가적인 회로를 이용하여 배터리 충전 기능을 수행할 수 있는 OBC의 설계 및 제어 방법을 제안한다. 결과적으로 전력변환장치의 수를 줄여 차량의 내부 공간을 확보하며, 제조 가격을 감소시킬 수 있다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안하는 배터리 충전 시스템의 설계 및 제어 방법의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • This paper presents stand-alone electric power generator using bridge vibration for charging system of health monitoring sensor unit of bridge structure. In this paper, a novel electric power generator utilizing vertical vibration is proposed, which has minimum effect of armature reaction, and the related mechanical and electrical design equations are obtained and then a pilot electric power generator has been implemented. Moreover, the free oscillation test reveals that diode characteristics of rectifier is dominant factor in charging process. Also, simulation results with the Namhae bridge data showed the validity and effectiveness for stand-alone electric power generation.

Improvement of charging efficiency of AGM lead acid battery through formation pattern research (Formation pattern 연구를 통한 AGM 연축전지의 충전 효율 향상)

  • In order to improve fuel economy and reduce CO2, HEV adopts ISG system as a standard. This ISG system increased the electric load that the battery had to bear, and the number of starting increased rapidly. AGM Lead Acid batteries have been developed and used, but the charging time is about three times longer as the electrolyte amount control during formation must be maintained at a higher level compared to conventional lead-acid batteries. In this study, we tried to shorten the charging time by increasing the charging efficiency through the optimization of the formation pattern. In order to optimize the Formation Pattern, 10 charging steps and 6 discharging steps were applied to 16 multi steps, and the charging current for each step was controlled, and the test was conducted under 4 conditions (21 hr, 24 hr, 27 hr, 30 hr). As a result of simultaneous application of multi-step and discharge step, it was verified that minimizing the current loss and eliminating the sudden polarization during charging contributes to the improvement of charging efficiency. As a result, it showed excellent results in reducing the charging time by about 30 % with improved charging efficiency compared to the previous one.

  • IEC62541, known as OPC-UA, is a standard communication protocol for Smart Grid (SG) and Smart Factory application platform. It was accepted as an IEC standard (IEC62541) in 2011 by IEC TC57, and is extending range of application as collaborating with other standrads. The government's policies to popularize EVs ("Workplace Charging Challenge"), the number of Electric vehicle which try to be charging in the factory is expected to increase. In this situation, indiscreet and uncontrolled EV charging can lead to some problems, such as excess of the peak demand capacity. Therefore, EVs, which is charging in SFs, must be monitoring and controlling to avoid and reduce peak demand. However, the standards for EVs charging differ from the standards for SFs. In other words, to increase the ease of use for drivers, and reduce risk for enterprise, we have needs of study to develop the protocols or to provide interoperability, for EVs charging in SFs. This paper deals with a EV charging management platform installing in a smart factory. And this platform can be easily integrated as part of SF management software. The main goal of this paper is to implement EV management system based on IEC61851 and IEC62541.
