이를 위해서 NORAD(North American Aerospace Defense Command)에서 제공하는 TLE(Two Line Element)가 주로 이용된다.

The HFC network has a architecture of a star topology in fiber optic trunks, and tree and branch topology is used in the part of coaxial cable. It is well known that the HFC upstream channel is noisy. Ingress, common mode distortion and impulse noise exist in the upstream channel. In order to provide Quality of Service(QoS) to users with real-time data such as voice, video and interactive services, the evolving IEEE 802.14 standard for HFC networks must include an effective priority scheme. The scheme separates and resolves collisions between stations in a priority order. It is important to simulate protocols under a practical environment. The proposed algorithm in this paper is simulated with the assumption that the collision detector made certain mistake due to noises. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is more efficient than existing tree-based algorithm under practical environment.

Recently, many researchers have paid attention to the study on generation of new linked data from tables by using linked open data (e.g. RDF, OWL). This paper proposes a new method for such generation of linked data. A pattern-based method intrinsically has a conflict problem among patterns. For instance, several patterns, mapping a single header of a table into different properties of linked data, conflict with each others. Existing studies have sacrificed precision by applying a statistically dominant pattern or have ignored conflicting patterns to increase precision. The proposed method finds appropriate patterns for all headers in a given table by connecting patterns applied to the headers. Experiments using DBPedia and Wikipedia showed results that conflicts of patterns are effectively resolved by the proposed method.
Mobile transactions updating spatial objects are long transactions that can update independently local objects of mobile clients during disconnection. Validation based protocols that are well known to be appropriate for mobile transactions are required to abort a conflicted transaction in order to keep data consistent. Since abortion leads to cancel of all of tile updates, it is not desirable to use the abortion for resolving conflicts of mobile transactions. In this paper, we propose a reprocessing transaction model to resolve the update conflicts between mobile transactions without aborting them. We also design a mobile transaction server to support the reprocessing transaction and build a prototype of a mobile field system. The reprocessing transaction is a subtransaction of a newly committed mobile transaction and re-executes only conflicted objects with foreign conflicted objects. We also introduce a progressive reprocessing scheme to expose non-conflicted objects of the mobile transaction to other transactions in order to reduce starvation of reprocessing transactions.

In broadband wireless networks, the effective meeting of the QoS guarantees may strongly depend on the Contention Resolution Algorithm used in the uplink contention period. The time it takes a station to transmit a successful request to the base station, or request delay, must be kept low even during periods of high contention. If a request suffers many collisions, it cannot rely on the preemptive scheduler to receive low access delays. However, the conventional collision resolution algorithm has a problem that all collided stations are treated equally regardless of their delay from previous contention periods. Some requests may have very long request delay caused by continuous collisions. In this paper, we propose an adaptive collision resolution algorithm for fast random access in broadband wireless networks. The design goal is to provide quick access to the request with a high number of collisions. To do this, the proposed algorithm separates the whole contention region into multiple sub regions and permits access through each sub region only to the requests with equal number of collisions. The sub region is adaptively created according to the feedback information of previous random access. By simulation, the proposed algorithm can improve the performance in terms of throughput, random delay and complementary distribution of random delay by its ability to isolate higher priorities from lower ones. We can notice the algorithm provides efficiency and random access delay in random access environment.

In the RFID system, the reader transmits a query message to tags in order to identify a unique ID of tags within its detection range. The procedures for arbitrating a collision is essential because the multiple tags can response simultaneously in the same to the query of the Reader. This procedure is known as conflict resolution algorithm and it is a key technology in the RFID system. In this paper, we proposed a variable bits M-ary QT algorithm based on Manchester coding techniques. The proposed algorithm use the location information of the collision bits in the reader and tags. The proposed algorithm can reduce the number of the query-response cycle because it is capable of recognizing discontinuous bits and a variable number of bits. From computer simulation, the proposed method give better performance than the conventional M-ary QT techniques in terms of response, recognition efficiency, communication overhead.
