전자빔의 조사가 직접이온빔으로 증착하는 CN 박막의 물성에 미치는 영향

  • 이온빔 증착에 있어서 전자의 조사가 이온빔 증착기구에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구는 지금까지 보고 되어지지 않았다. 특히 전자의 조사가 증착층의 물성에 영향을 미칠 수 있느지에 대하여 정량적인 결과를 실험을 통하여 제시한 보고는 내가 아는 한 존재하지 않는다. 한편 이와같이 박막 증착에 있어서 전하가 증착되어지는 박막의 물성에 미칠 수 있는 영향에 대해서는 많은 과학자들의 관심사이기도 하다. 본 실험에서는 kaufman ion gun을 이용하여 질소 양이온을, 그리고 Cs+ ion gun을 이용하여 탄소 음이온을 조사하고 이들을 이용하여 CN 박막을 증착하였다. 질소 양이온의 에너지는 100eV, 이온밀도는 70$\mu$A/$\textrm{cm}^2$로 고정하고, 탄소 이온빔(80$\mu$A/$\textrm{cm}^2$)의 에너지를 200cV까지 변화시켜가며 증착하였다. 이때 증착층의 특성에 음 전하의 효과를 유발하기 위하여 350~360$\mu$A/$\textrm{cm}^2$의 전자빔을 이온빔 증착과 동시에 추가로 조사하였고 이의 특성을 전자빔을 조사하지 않고 증착한 CN 박막의 특성과 서로 비교하였다. 또한 증착 표면의 전하 축적에 의한 입사 이온빔의 에너지 감소에 의한 영향을 방지하기 위하여 증착되는 Si 기판에 HF (300kHz, 3.5V) bias를 가하여 주었다. 전자빔의 조사와 동시에 이루어진 CN 박막의 증착은 입사하는 탄소 음 이온빔의 에너지가 80eV에서 180eV 사이일때 원자밀도의 향상과 질소함량의 증가, 그리고 sp2C-N 결합대비 sp3C-N 결합의 향상이 이루어졌음을 확인하였다. 이는 이온빔 충돌에 의하여 피코쵸 정도의 시간대에 이루어지는 박막내의 collision cascade 영역에 이에 의하여 생긴 결함부위에 유입된 음 전하가 위치하면 전하주위의 원자와 polarization을 형성하고 이에 의하여 탄소와 질소의 결합을 형성하는데 필요한 자유에너지의 감소를 수반하는 방향으로 원자의 배열이 이루어지기 때문으로 사료된다. 이와같이 이온빔 에너지가 이온빔 증착 기구의 주요한 인자로 널리 인식되고 있는 kinetic bonding process에 있어서 이온 에너지에 의하여 activation energy barrier를 넘은후, 전자의 조사가 자유에너지를 낮추는 방향으로 최종 결합경로를 조절할 수 있기 때문에 이온빔 증착을 조절할 수 있는 또 하나의 주요한 인자로 받아들여질 수 있으리라 판단된다. 이온빔 프로세스에 의한 DLC 혹은 탄소관련 필름을 형성하는데 있어서 입사 이온빔의 에너지에 의하여 수반되는 thermal spike 혹은 외부 열원에 의한 가열은 박막층의 흑연화를 수반하기 때문에 박막의 sp3 특성을 향상시키기 위하여 회피하여야 할 요소이지만 thermal spike에 의한 국부 영역의 가열과 같은 불가피한 인자가 존재하는 상황에서 전자에 의한 추가 전하의 조사에 의한 최종결합경로의 선택적 조절은 박막의 화학적 결합과 물리적 특성을 향상시킬 수 있는 중요한 방법이 될 수 있다고 판단된다.

Structural Geometry of the Seongjuri Syncline, Chungnam Basin (충남분지 성주리향사의 구조기하학적 해석)

  • Chungnam Basin has been known as one of the largest Mesozoic basins in Korea, filled mainly with so-called Daedong Supergroup. The basin has evolved as the Early to Middle Jurassic intra-arc volcano-sedimentary basin developed on top of the Late Triassic to Early Jurassic post-collisional basin in this area, recording evolutionary history of the Mesozoic tectonics in the southwestern Korean Peninsula. This study carries out the geometric interpretations of the Seongjuri syncline and its surroundings in the central part of the Chungnam Basin, based on detailed structural field survey. Based on its doubly-plunging fold geometry, the Seongjuri syncline could be subdivided into the southwestern and northeastern domains. On the down-plunge profiles of the southwestern domain of the Seongjuri syncline as well as the underlying Okma fold, the Okma fault shows typical geometry of a basement-involved reverse fault that propagated up to the sedimentary cover. The profiles illustrate that the Seongjuri syncline occurs in front of the tip of the Okma fault, likely implying its origin as a part of the fault-related fold system. The result of this study will provide better insight into the structural interpretation of the Chungnam Basin, and will further provide useful information for the Mesozoic orgenic events of the southwestern Korean Peninsula.

  • The Internet has become a medium through which people engage in increasingly sophisticated transactions. Businesses and consumers now use the Internet to communicate and engage in commercial transactions creating a virtual worldwide marketplace. They fear that the determination of Internet jurisdiction could be uncertain because electronic commerce is not executed in one particular place. Until now, there are no specific rules in the model laws and conventions dealing with international jurisdiction in electronic commerce. Due to the fact that U.S. companies are at the forefront of Internet technology, litigation regarding electronic commerce in the U.S. is more advanced than anywhere else in the world This paper analysis the basic framework for personal jurisdiction and approach for determining international jurisdiction in electronic commerce cases and explain the differences of several approaches involving interactions over the Internet. According to jurisdiction approach test, the U.S. employs sliding scale, effects and targeting test in electronic commerce. In recent many research views the targeting test as a global standard for determining international electronic commerce jurisdiction. However, there is still no clear indication of conclusive test of jurisdiction determination for electronic commerce. Therefore, it is a changing and process of jurisdiction test in the U.S. cases. In Korea, there is jurisdiction related clause in Private International Law, but it may be asked whether applicable in electronic commerce. Accordingly, analysis of the precedents changing related to electronic commerce jurisdiction of U.s. is full of suggestions in Korean companies, consumers and helps an enactment of code of civil procedure that containing many group's demands.

On the field of domestic studies on Western Art History and Western Art Theory (국내 서양미술사, 서양미술이론 연구 장에 관한 연구)

  • Studies on western art in Korea has been caught in a dilemma that they could deal with only those things which had been arranged according to their 'historical generalization' in their contexts because of the bounds of time and space. It is not trivial that such conditions affect art studies in Korea. Access to the original texts and to their contexts of production is so restricted that the studies on them are prone to he superficial. And it is not independent on the politics of Korean art scene. Such factors are on the background of Korean art's excessive 'assimilation or accordance' with western art. The domestic studies on western art history and art theory have failed to notice the differences in context and Korean art has simply mediated or reproduced the restricted information by those studies. Also the studies on western art in Korea have been made use of as a justifying method of one's own academic domains. In such situations we should lead the studies on western art history and western art theory to a more reflective direction and confirm that the studies should not have any privileges of the realities. And we should try to reform a scholarship which participates in our life and existence. The field of domestic studies on western art history and western art theory should free itself from the invention of objectivity or the neutrality of mechanical reading and turn its eyes to the realities of life where events happens. Constantly suggesting which way Korean art and world art should go has to be the field's new coordinates.

A STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF SOLAR WIND DYNAMIC PRESSURE PULSES DURING GEOMAGNETIC STORMS (지자기폭풍 기간 동안의 태양풍 동압력 펄스에 관한 통계적 분석)

  • We have carried out a statistical analysis on solar wind dynamic pressure pulses during geomagnetic storms. The Dst index was used to identify 111 geomagnetic storms that occurred in the time interval from 1997 through 2001. We have selected only the events having the minimum Dst value less than -50 nT. In order to identify the pressure impact precisely, we have used the horizontal component data of the magnetic field H (northward) at low latitudes as well as the solar wind pressure data themselves. Our analysis leads to the following results: (1) The enhancement of H due to a pressure pulse tends to be proportional to the magnitude of minimum Dst value; (2) The occurrence frequency of pressure pulses also increases with storm intensity. (3) For about $30\%$ of our storms, the occurrence frequency of pressure pulses is greater than $0.4\#/hr$, implying that to. those storms the pressure pulses occur more frequently than do periodic substorms with an average substorm duration of 2.5 hrs. In order to understand the origin of these pressure pulses, we have first examined responsible storm drivers. It turns out that $65\%$ of the studied storms we driven by coronal mass ejections (CMEs) while others are associated with corotating interaction regions $(6.3\%)$ or Type II bursts $(7.2\%)$. Out of the storms that are driven by CMEs, over $70\%$ show that the main phase interval overlaps with the sheath, namely, the region between CME body and the shock, and with the leading region of a CME. This suggests that the origin of the frequent pressure pulses is often due to density fluctuations in the sheath region and the leading edge of the CME body.

  • The information drive of the businesses requires new alternatives in that the promotion of business efficiency through information process technologies ends up conflicting with the protection of information human rights on laborers’side. Nevertheless, apathy on information protection has a tendency to be distorted by the efficiency of the businesses. Should the capital and mass media warn economic red lights, political circles with uneasiness would ignore the significance of information protection on the behalf of business efficiency. Therefore, the importance of information protection is considered a smaller interest than that of business efficiency with the infringements of human rights on laborers’side arising. Informatization of the businesses along with the developments of information process technologies has enabled the management to monitor and control the behaviors of laborers. This new problem needs to establish both information protection mechanism and institutional devices to regulate those labor controls. The security of business activity without human rights infringement warrants both basic rights of the public and spirit of the Constitution. The study suggests the establishment and revision of laws suitable to the period of information human rights. On top of that, the establishment of the basic law for information protection of individuals’with the common principle that integrates the related laws and rules on-off line is needed. This will warrant the active participation of labor unions and create specific alternatives for information protection.

Probleme nach geltendem Recht „Richtlinien für die Verwendung von Gesundheitsdaten" ('보건의료 데이터 활용 가이드라인'의 현행법상 문제점)

  • Inmitten der Flut der privaten und öffentlichen Information gilt die riesige Informationsmenge als Schlüsselressource im Zeitalter der 4. industriellen Revolution, repräsentiert durch Big-Data. Das Interesse an diesen wächst weltweit. Es gibt eine aktive Diskussion darüber, wie man Daten sichert und akkumuliert und wie man die gesammelten Daten sicher und effektiv nutzt. Gesundheitsdaten werden vor allem als die wertvollste Ressource bewertet, für die Big-DataTechnologie eingesetzt wird. Um Gesundheitsdaten sinnvoll zu nutzen, müssen verteilte Gesundheitsdaten integriert und den Benutzern in einer Form zur Verfügung gestellt werden, die für Forschung oder Inspektion verwendet werden kann. In einer Situation, in der große Länder um den Aufbau bzw. die Führung der Datenwirtschaft konkurrieren, wurden im August 2020 auch in Südkorea die sog. „3-Daten-Gesetze" geändert, die das Datenschutzgesetz(DSG) enthälten. Das DSG führte das Konzept der pseudonymen Informationen ein und baute eine Rechtsgrundlage für deren Verwendung auf. Als Folgemaßnahme kündigte die, Kommission für den Schutz personenbezogener Daten(Personal Information Protection Commission: PIPC)' die „Richtlinien für die Bahandlung mit pseudonymen Informationen" und, Ministerium für Gesundheit und Wohlfahrt' die „Richtlinien für die Verwendung von Gesundheitsdaten" an. Gesundheitsdaten stehen direkt in Zusammenhang mit Leben und Körper des Menschen und damit enthalten viele sensible Daten. Es handelt sich also um ein System, das aus einer vorsichtigeren und konservativeren Sicht unter der Voraussetzung verwendet werden kann, personenbezogene Daten sicherer zu schützen. Um die Hauptinhalte der „Richtlinien für Verwendung von Gesundheitsdaten" zu analysieren, überprüften wir zunächst die Hauptinhalte des überarbeiteten DSG. Danach durch die Analyse der wesentlichen Inhalte der „Richtlinien für Verwendung von Gesundheitsdaten" wurden Probleme wie Konflikte mit anderen Gesetzen und Verbesserungsmaßnahmen überprüft.

Fusion of the Guardianship System and Mental Health Law Based on Mental Capacity - Focusing on the Enactment and the Application of the Mental Capacity Act (Northern Ireland) 2016 - (의사능력에 기반한 후견제도와 정신건강복지법의 융합 - 북아일랜드 정신능력법[Mental Capacity Act (Northern Ireland) 2016]의 제정 과정과 그 의의를 중심으로 -)

  • When a person with diminished mental capacity refuses necessary medical care, normative judgments about when paternalistic intervention can be justified come into question. A typical example is involuntary hospitalization for people with mental disabilities, traditionally governed by mental health law. However, Korean civil law reform in 2011 introduced a new form of involuntary hospitalization through guardianship legislation, leading to a dualized system to involuntary hospitalization. Consequently, a conflict has arisen between the 'best interest and surrogate decision-making' paradigm of civil law and the 'social defense and preventive detention' paradigm of mental health law. Many countries have criticized this dualized system as not only inefficient but also unfair. Moreover, the requirement for the presence of 'mental illness' for involuntary hospitalization under mental health law has faced criticism for unfairly discriminating against people with mental disabilities. In response, attempts have been made to integrate guardianship legislation and mental health law based on mental capacity. This study examines the legislative process and framework of the Mental Capacity Act (Northern Ireland) 2016, which reorganized the mental health care system by fusing guardianship legislation with mental health law based on mental capacity. By analyzing the case of Northern Ireland, which has grappled with conflicts between guardianship legislation and mental health law since the 1990s and recently proposed mental capacity as a single, non-discriminatory standard, we aimed to offer insights for the Korean guardianship and mental health systems.

Effect on the surface passivation of i-a-Si:H thin films formed on multi-crystalline Si wafer (유도결합플라즈마 CVD법을 이용한 비정질 실리콘 박막증착을 통한 다결정 실리콘 기판의 표면 passivation 특성평가)

  • 수소화된 비정질 실리콘 박막을 이용한 반도체는 현재 태양전지, 트랜지스터, 매트릭스 배열 및 이미지 센서 등의 분야에서 이용되고 있다. 자세히 이야기 하면, 여러 가지의 광전효과 물질에 대한 특성이 있으며, 가시광선영역에 대하여 > $10^5cm^{-1}$이상의 매우 높은 광흡수계수와 낮은 온도를 갖는 증착공정 등이 있다. 박막의 밴드갭은 약 1.6~1.8eV로서 태양전지의 흡수층과 passivation층으로 적절하다. 여러 가지 종류의 태양전지 중 비정질 실리콘 박막/결정질 실리콘 기판의 구조로 이루어진 이종접합 태양전지는 저온에서 공정이 가능한 대표적인 것으로서 HIT(Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin layer)구조로 산요사에 의해 제안된 것이다. 이것은 결정질 실리콘 기판과 도핑된 비정질 실리콘 박막사이에 얇은 진성층 비정질실리콘 박막을 삽입함으로서, 캐리어 전송을 좋게하여 실리콘 기판 표면의 passivation효과를 증대시키는 결과를 가지고 온다. 실험실 규모에서는 약 20%이상의 효율을 보이고 있으며, 모듈에서는 19.5%의 높은 효율을 보이고 있어 실리콘 기판을 이용한 고효율 태양전지로서 각광을 받고 있다. 이러한 이종접합 태양전지의 대부분은 단결정 실리콘을 사용하고 있는데, 점차적으로 다결정 실리콘 기판으로 추세가 바뀌고 있어, 여기에 맞는 표면 passivation 공정 및 분석이 필요하다. 본 발표에서는 다결정 실리콘 기판위에 진성층 비정질 실리콘 박막을 유도결합 플라즈마 화학기상 증착법(ICP-CVD)을 이용하여 제조하여 passivation 효과를 분석한다. 일반적으로 ICP는 CCP(coupled charged plasma)에 비해 약 100배 이상 높은 플라즈마 밀도를 가지고 있으며, 이온 충돌같은 표면으로 작용하는 것들이 기존 방식에 비해서 작다라는 장점이 있다. 먼저, 유리기판을 사용하여 ICP-CVD 챔버내에 이송 한 후 플라즈마 파워, 온도 및 가스비(SiH4/H2)에 따른 진성층 비정질 실리콘 박막을 증착 한 후, 밴드갭, 전도도 및 결합구조 등에 대한 결과를 분석한 후, 최적의 값을 가지고 250um의 두께를 갖는 다결정 실리콘을 기판위에 증착을 한다. 두께(1~20nm)에 따라 표면의 passivation이 되는 정도를 QSSPCD(Quasi steady state Photoconductive Decay)법에 의하여 소수캐리어의 이동거리, 재결합율 및 수명 등에 대한 측정 및 분석을 통하여 다결정 실리콘 기판의 passivation effect를 확인한다. 제시된 데이터를 바탕으로 향후 다결정 HIT셀 제조를 통해 태양전지 효율에 대한 특성을 비교하고자 한다.

Mineral Compositions of Granitic Rocks in the Yeongkwang-Naju Area (영광-나주지역에 분포하는 화강암류의 광물성분에 대한 연구)

  • Main aspect of this study are to clarify mineral compositions on granites in Youngkwang-Naju area. These granites are is divided into four rock facies based on the geologic ages, mineralogical composition and chemical constituents, and texture : hornblende-biotite granodiorite, biotite granite, porphyritic granite and two mica granite. These granites constitude an igneous complex formed by a series of differentiation from cogenetic magma. In compressive stress field between the Ogcheon folded belt and the Youngnam massif, the foliated and undeformed granites had formed owing to heterogeneous distribution of stress. The geochemical data of study area indicate magma of these rocks would had been generated by melting in lower and middle crust. The major minerals of granitic rocks in study area are plagioclase, biotite, muscovite and hornblende. Plagioclase range in composition from oligoclase ($An_{19.3-27.7}$) to andesine ($An_{28.4-31}$), and shows normal zoning patterns, This uniformed composition indicated slow crystallization, and it is obvious that the growth of these crystal occurred before final consolidation of the magma. The Mg content of biotite are increases with increasing of $f_{O2}$ and grade of differentiation, changing from phlogopite to siderophyllite. Its $Al^{iv}$/$Al^{total}$ ratios are propertional to bulk rock alumina content. Muscovite is primary in origin with high content of $TiO_2$, and Its composition correspond to celadonitic muscovite. Hornblende indicated calc amphibole group ($(Ca+Na)_{M4}{\geq}1.43$, $Na_{M4}<0.67$). and consolidation pressure of granitic body by geobarometer of Hammerstrume and Zen show 11.3~17.2 Km.
