  • BI 및 ETABr의 농도변화에 따른 속도상수의 변화는 이 반응이 단순한 1차 및 2차 반응 속도식에 맞지 않는다. 이와 같은 현상은 용액 속에서 두 반응 시약인 p-NPDPIN 및 BI와 상전이촉매인 ETABr 사이에 많은 수의 작은 응집된 입자(aggregates)을 형성함을 의미한다. 수용액 속에서는 불용성인 p-NPDPIN과 수용성인 BI가 충돌하여 반응할 기회가 적은데 반하여 ETABr은 이 두 시약을 함께 수용하여 세 분자 사이에 응집현상이 일어남으로 p-NPDPIN과 BI가 반응하기에 충분한 거리 내에 있게 된다. 바꾸어 말하면, 이 두 반응물질이 1:1 adducts로 반응하기보다는 여러 ETABr과 함께 많은 수의 반응분자들이 회합(응집) 되어 있음을 뜻한다.

전자잡음과 그에 대한 대책기술

  • 환경오염 문제가 심각한 오늘날 사람들은 대기, 수질 등에 대해서는 오염의 형태를 쉽게 인식하나, 전자오염(Electromagnetic-Pollution)에 대하여는 직접적으로 느낄 수 없는 까닭에 잘 이해하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 이 전자오염은 개개인 뿐만 아니라 많은 사람들에게 영향을 미칠 수가 있다. 예를 들어 뇌방전에 의한 전기적 과도현상으로 항공 관제탑과 비행기들과의 통신이 두절되어 충돌사고를 일으킬 수 있기 때문이다. 이러한 전자잡음현상을 EMI(Electromagnetic Interference)라고 하는데 요즈음은 부품의 고속화, 고집적화로 인해 전기.전자제품의 내잡음성이 감소될 뿐 아니라 저가격화 및 정보사회 발달에 따른 기기의 급속한 보급으로 전자환경보전이라는 면에서 EMI현상은 매우 심각한 실정이다. 또한 전기.전자에서의 EMI연구 뿐 아니라, 전력의 질적향상을 위하여 고주파, 유도장해 등의 전력계통에서의 EMI현상도 검토되어야 한다. 저주파대에서의 전력계통 EMI현상은 송전선 인근의 통신선 안전문제, 라디오, TV의 수신장해문제, 차기 초고압(800KV급), 송전선 설계문제 등을 감안할 때, 매우 중요한 분야라 하겠다. 여기에 부품 또는 설비가 외부잡음이나 내부잡음에 영향을 받지 않고 또한 그 기기 자신이 방출하는 잡음이 다른 곳에 영향을 주지 않는 양위성 즉 EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) 제어가 필요하게 되었다.

Aerodynamic Characteristics of Supersonic Jets Impinging on $60^{\cire}$ Wedge (꼭지각이 $60^{\cire}$인 쐐기에 충돌하는 초음속 제트의 공기역학적 특성)

  • Supersonic jets impinging on $60^{\cire}$ wedge were investigated to obtain fundamental design data for jet deflector It was of interest to study flow phenomena such as shock interaction and separation induced by shear layer. Experiments using supersonic cold flow system were conducted for Schlieren flow visualization and measurement of surface pressure. Numerical results were compared with the experimental results. The major parameters are underexpansion ratio, distance from nozzle to apex and design Mach number. Flow conditions were obtained for the wedge shock to attach on or detach from the wedge. The dominant feature of flow-field is shock pattern induced by the Interaction between the wedge shock and the barrel shock.

  • In a small wireless environment, such as your home or office, a various network using WiMedia PHY can be mixed. Because these networks operate independently for each application, data conflict can occur between adjacent networks. To avoid data conflict, the resource in a different time zone can be utilized. However, if devices in a network increase, available resources in the network decrease, and then the lack of resources necessary to provide service can occur. To solve this problem, we propose collision avoidacne scheme for coexistence of various UWB systems. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme through simulation.

  • In beacon-enabled mode, beacon collision is a significant problem for the scalability of cluster-tree wireless sensor networks. In this paper, multi-channel time division scheduling (MCTS) is proposed to prevent beacon collisions and provide scalability. A coordinator broadcasts a beacon frame, including information on allocated channels and time-slots, and a new node determines its own channel and time-slot. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated by comparing the proposed approach with a typical ZigBee. MCTS prevents beacon collisions in cluster-tree wireless sensor networks. It enables large-scale wireless sensor networks based on a cluster tree to be scalable and effectively constructed.

  • This paper has proposed a controller switching scheme for full-envelope aircraft control using the bumpless transfer implementation algorithm developed recently. This switching scheme has combined by proper rules the common existing method which switches the controller according to attitude and mach number of the aircraft with an optimization method which uses the cost function relating to bump phenomenon by means of controller switching criterion. This paper exemplifies the control performance improvement via simulations applied to a high performance aircraft benchmark problem in a wide operating range to test the proposed controller switching scheme.

  • In this paper, the response analysis of RC(Reinforced Concrete), SC(Steel-Plate Concrete) containment buildings subjected to a large aircraft impact is performed using Autodyn-3D as Hydrocode. Until now, the impact load in the analysis of aircraft impacts has been applied to target structures at the local area by using the impact load-time history function of Riera. However in this paper, the results of aircraft crash are analyzed by using an aircraft model similar to Boeing 767 and verified by comparing the generated history of the aircraft crash against the rigid target with another history by using the Riera's function. To estimate the resistivity of the impact, the response and safety of SC containment buildings, this study is performed by comparing the four cases of plane concrete, reinforced concrete, bonded containment liner plate at reinforced concrete, and SC structure. Thus, the different behaviors between SC and RC structures when they are subjected to the extreme impact load could be anticipated. Consequently, the improved safety is expected by replacing RC structure with SC structure for nuclear power plants.

Spreading Dynamics of an Ellipsoidal Drop Impacting on a Heated Substrate (고온으로 가열된 고체 표면과 충돌하는 타원형 액적의 퍼짐 거동)

  • Unlike spherical drop impact, ellipsoidal drop impact can control the bouncing height on a heated surface by significantly altering impact behavior. To scrutinize the effect of the aspect ratio (AR) of the drop on the bounce suppression, in this study, non-axisymmetric spreading behaviors are observed from two side views and characterized based on the spreading width of the drop for horizontal principal axes. In addition, the maximum spreading width is investigated for various ARs. The results show that as the AR increases, the maximum spreading width of the minor axis increases, whereas that of the major axis shows no significant variation. In the regime of high AR and high impact velocity, liquid fragmentations by three parts are observed during bouncing. These fragmentations are discussed in this work. The hydrodynamic features of ellipsoidal drop impact will help understand bouncing control on non-wetting surfaces for several applications, such as self-cleaning and spray cooling.

Eulerian-based Numerical Modeling for Impingement Prediction of Supercooled Large Droplets (과냉각대형액적 충돌예측을 위한 오일러리안 기반 수치 모델링)

  • Supercooled large droplet issues in aircraft icing have been continually reported due to the important safety considerations. In order to simulate the impingement behavior of large droplets, a two-dimensional and compressible Navier-Stokes code was developed to determine the flow field around the test model. Also, the Eulerian-based droplet impingement model including a semi-empirical approach for the droplet-wall interaction process and droplet break-up was developed. In particular, the droplet-wall interactions were considered as numerical boundary conditions for the droplet impingement simulation in the supercooled large droplet conditions. Finally, the present results were compared with the experimental test data and the LEWICE results. The droplet impingement area and maximum collection efficiency values between present results and wind tunnel data were in good agreements. Otherwise, the inclination of collection efficiency of the present result is over-predicted than the wind tunnel data around a lower surface of the NACA 23012 airfoil.

Burst Assembly Scheme based on SCM for Avoidance of Burst Collision in Optical Burst-Switched Networks (OBS 망에서 버스트 충돌 회피를 위한 SCM 기반의 버스트 생성 기법)

  • Optical Burst Switched (OBS) networks usually employ one-way reservation by sending a burst control packet (BCP) with a specific offset time, before transmitting each data burst frame (BDF). Therefore, The quality of service may be degraded because contentions may lead to loss of BDFs. Especially, this phenomenon becomes more serious when burst size is longer. This necessitates an effective method of prevention to avoid burst collision in nodes. OBS networks can employ several methods to avoid such burst losses. One is that burst size is cut short to reduce burst loss probability during scheduling time. In this paper, we evaluate the burst generation and transmission using Sub-Carrier Multiplexting (SCM) in OBS networks. We propose an appropriate burst assembly architecture and transmission scheme based on SCM in OBS networks. The performance of SCM in OBS networks is examined in terms of number of Sub-Carriers per wavelength, burst loss probability, throughput, and total bandwidth of an optical fiber.
